詩篇 125

1 都もうでの歌 主に信頼する者は、動かされることなくて、とこしえにあるシオンの山のようである。

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” They who trust in the LORD shall be as Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, which standeth for ever.

2 山々がエルサレムを囲んでいるように、主は今からとこしえにその民を囲まれる。

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So the LORD is round about his people, Henceforth even for ever!

3 これは悪しき者のつえが正しい者の所領にとどまることなく、正しい者がその手を不義に伸べることのないためである。

For the sceptre of the wicked shall not remain upon the portion of the righteous, Lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 主よ、善良な人と、心の正しい人とに、さいわいを施してください。

Do good, O LORD! to the good, To them that are upright in heart!

5 しかし転じて自分の曲った道に入る者を主は、悪を行う者と共に去らせられる。イスラエルの上に平安があるように。

But such as turn aside to their crooked ways, -May the LORD destroy them with the evil-doers! Peace be to Israel!
