詩篇 124

1 ダビデがよんだ都もうでの歌 今、イスラエルは言え、主がもしわれらの方におられなかったならば、

The song of grecis `of Dauith. Israel seie now, No but for the Lord was in vs;

2 人々がわれらに逆らって立ちあがったとき、主がもしわれらの方におられなかったならば、

no but for `the Lord was in vs. Whanne men risiden vp ayens vs;

3 彼らの怒りがわれらにむかって燃えたったとき、彼らはわれらを生きているままで、のんだであろう。

in hap thei hadden swalewid vs quike. Whanne the woodnesse of hem was wrooth ayens vs;

4 また大水はわれらを押し流し、激流はわれらの上を越え、

in hap watir hadde sope vs vp.

5 さか巻く水はわれらの上を越えたであろう。

Oure soule passide thoruy a stronde; in hap oure soule hadde passide thoruy a watir vnsuffrable.

6 主はほむべきかな。主はわれらをえじきとして彼らの歯にわたされなかった。

Blessid be the Lord; that `yaf not vs in taking to the teeth of hem.

7 われらは野鳥を捕えるわなをのがれる鳥のようにのがれた。わなは破れてわれらはのがれた。

Oure soule, as a sparowe, is delyuered; fro the snare of hunters. The snare is al to-brokun; and we ben delyuered.

8 われらの助けは天地を造られた主のみ名にある。

Oure helpe is in the name of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.
