詩篇 123

1 都もうでの歌 天に座しておられる者よ、わたしはあなたにむかって目をあげます。

Yahweh, I look up toward you, up to heaven, from where you rule.

2 見よ、しもべがその主人の手に目をそそぎ、はしためがその主婦の手に目をそそぐように、われらはわれらの神、主に目をそそいで、われらをあわれまれるのを待ちます。

Like servants ask [IDM] their masters [for what they need] and like maids ask t their mistresses [for what they need], we ask you, Yahweh our God, [for what we need], and we ask you to be merciful to us.

3 主よ、われらをあわれんでください。われらをあわれんでください。われらに侮りが満ちあふれています。

Yahweh, be very merciful [DOU] to us because [our enemies] have acted very contemptuously toward us.

4 思い煩いのない者のあざけりと、高ぶる者の侮りとは、われらの魂に満ちあふれています。

Rich people have made fun of us for a long time, and proud [people] who have (oppressed/acted cruelly toward) us have acted toward us as though we were worthless.
