詩篇 113

1 主をほめたたえよ。主のしもべたちよ、ほめたたえよ。主のみ名をほめたたえよ。

Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise ye the name of the Lord.

2 今より、とこしえに至るまで主のみ名はほむべきかな。

Let the name of the Lord be blessed from this time forth and for evermore.

3 日のいずるところから日の入るところまで、主のみ名はほめたたえられる。

From the rising of the sun unto his going down the name of the Lord is praised.

4 主はもろもろの国民の上に高くいらせられ、その栄光は天よりも高い。

High above all nations is the Lord, above the heavens is his glory.

5 われらの神、主にくらぶべき者はだれか。主は高き所に座し、

Who is like the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high?

6 遠く天と地とを見おろされる。

Who condescendeth to view what is done in the heavens, and on the earth?

7 主は貧しい者をちりからあげ、乏しい者をあくたからあげて、

He raiseth up out of the dust the poor, from the dunghill he lifteth up the needy:

8 もろもろの君たちと共にすわらせ、その民の君たちと共にすわらせられる。

That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 また子を産まぬ女に家庭を与え、多くの子供たちの喜ばしい母とされる。主をほめたたえよ。

He causeth the barren woman to dwell in the midst of [her] household, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.
