詩篇 108

1 ダビデの歌、さんび 神よ、わが心は定まりました。わが心は定まりました。わたしは歌い、かつほめたたえます。わが魂よ、さめよ。

A Song [or] Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2 立琴よ、琴よ、さめよ。わたしはしののめを呼びさまします。

Awake, psaltery and harp: I [myself] will awake early.

3 主よ、わたしはもろもろの民の中であなたに感謝し、もろもろの国の中であなたをほめたたえます。

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4 あなたのいつくしみは大きく、天にまでおよびあなたのまことは雲にまで及ぶ。

For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] unto the clouds.

5 神よ、みずからを天よりも高くし、みさかえを全地の上にあげてください。

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

6 あなたの愛される者が助けを得るために、右のみ手をもって救をほどこし、わたしに答えてください。

That thy beloved may be delivered: save [with] thy right hand, and answer me.

7 神はその聖所で言われた、「わたしは大いなる喜びをもってシケムを分かち、スコテの谷を分かち与えよう。

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8 ギレアデはわたしのもの、マナセもわたしのものである。エフライムはわたしのかぶと、ユダはわたしのつえである。

Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of mine head; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

9 モアブはわたしの足だらい、エドムにはわたしのくつを投げる。ペリシテについては、かちどきをあげる」。

Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

10 だれがわたしを堅固な町に至らせるであろうか。だれがわたしをエドムに導くであろうか。

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11 神よ、あなたはわれらを捨てられたではありませんか。神よ、あなたはわれらの軍勢と共に出て行かれません。

[Wilt] not [thou], O God, [who] hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

12 われらに助けを与えて、あだにむかわせてください。人の助けはむなしいからです。

Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man.

13 われらは神によって勇ましく働きます。われらのあだを踏みにじる者は神だからです。

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he [it is that] shall tread down our enemies.
