詩篇 105
1 主に感謝し、そのみ名を呼び、そのみわざをもろもろの民のなかに知らせよ。
Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.
2 主にむかって歌え、主をほめうたえ、そのすべてのくすしきみわざを語れ。
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; meditate upon all his wondrous works.
3 その聖なるみ名を誇れ。主を尋ね求める者の心を喜ばせよ。
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
4 主とそのみ力とを求めよ、つねにそのみ顔を尋ねよ。
Seek Jehovah and his strength, seek his face continually;
Remember his wondrous works which he hath done, his miracles and the judgments of his mouth:
6 そのしもべアブラハムの子孫よ、その選ばれた者であるヤコブの子らよ、主のなされたくすしきみわざと、その奇跡と、そのみ口のさばきとを心にとめよ。
Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7 彼はわれらの神、主でいらせられる。そのさばきは全地にある。
He, Jehovah, is our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
8 主はとこしえに、その契約をみこころにとめられる。これはよろず代に命じられたみ言葉であって、
He is ever mindful of his covenant, — the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, —
9 アブラハムと結ばれた契約、イサクに誓われた約束である。
Which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
10 主はこれを堅く立てて、ヤコブのために定めとし、イスラエルのために、とこしえの契約として
And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,
11 言われた、「わたしはあなたにカナンの地を与えて、あなたがたの受ける嗣業の分け前とする」と。
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
12 このとき彼らの数は少なくて、数えるに足らず、その所で旅びととなり、
When they were a few men in number, of small account, and strangers in it.
13 この国からかの国へ行き、この国から他の民へ行った。
And they went from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
14 主は人の彼らをしえたげるのをゆるさず、彼らのために王たちを懲しめて、
He suffered no man to oppress them, and reproved kings for their sakes,
15 言われた、「わが油そそがれた者たちにさわってはならない、わが預言者たちに害を加えてはならない」と。
[Saying, ] Touch not mine anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.
16 主はききんを地に招き、人のつえとするパンをことごとく砕かれた。
And he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole staff of bread.
17 また彼らの前にひとりをつかわされた。すなわち売られて奴隷となったヨセフである。
He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a bondman.
18 彼の足は足かせをもって痛められ、彼の首は鉄の首輪にはめられ、
They afflicted his feet with fetters; his soul came into irons;
19 彼の言葉の成る時まで、主のみ言葉が彼を試みた。
Until the time when what he said came about: the word of Jehovah tried him.
20 王は人をつかわして彼を解き放ち、民のつかさは彼に自由を与えた。
The king sent and loosed him — the ruler of peoples — and let him go free.
21 王はその家のつかさとしてその所有をことごとくつかさどらせ、
He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions:
22 その心のままに君たちを教えさせ、長老たちに知恵を授けさせた。
To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
23 その時イスラエルはエジプトにきたり、ヤコブはハムの地に寄留した。
And Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 主はその民を大いに増し加え、これをそのあだよりも強くされた。
And he made his people exceeding fruitful, and made them mightier than their oppressors.
25 主は人々の心をかえて、その民を憎ませ、そのしもべたちを悪賢く扱わせられた。
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 主はそのしもべモーセと、そのお選びになったアロンとをつかわされた。
He sent Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen:
27 彼らはハムの地で主のしるしと、奇跡とを彼らのうちにおこなった。
They set his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham.
28 主は暗やみをつかわして地を暗くされた。しかし彼らはそのみ言葉に従わなかった。
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 主は彼らの水を血に変らせて、その魚を殺された。
He turned their waters into blood, and caused their fish to die.
30 彼らの国には、かえるが群がり、王の寝間にまではいった。
Their land swarmed with frogs, — in the chambers of their kings.
31 主が言われると、はえの群れがきたり、ぶよが国じゅうにあった。
He spoke, and there came dog-flies, [and] gnats in all their borders.
32 主は雨にかえて、ひょうを彼らに与え、きらめくいなずまを彼らの国に放たれた。
He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land;
33 主は彼らのぶどうの木と、いちじくの木とを撃ち、彼らの国のもろもろの木を折り砕かれた。
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees of their borders.
34 主が言われると、いなごがきたり、無数の若いいなごが来て、
He spoke, and the locust came, and the cankerworm, even without number;
35 彼らの国のすべての青物を食いつくし、その地の実を食いつくした。
And they devoured every herb in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 主は彼らの国のすべてのういごを撃ち、彼らのすべての力の初めを撃たれた。
And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigour.
37 そして金銀を携えてイスラエルを出て行かせられた。その部族のうちに、ひとりの倒れる者もなかった。
And he brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble among their tribes.
38 エジプトは彼らの去るのを喜んだ。彼らに対する恐れが彼らに臨んだからである。
Egypt rejoiced at their departure; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
39 主は雲をひろげておおいとし、夜は火をもって照された。
He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 また彼らの求めによって、うずらを飛びきたらせ、天から、かてを豊かに彼らに与えられた。
They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 主が岩を開かれると、水がほとばしり出て、かわいた地に川のように流れた。
He opened the rock, and waters gushed forth; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
42 これは主がその聖なる約束と、そのしもべアブラハムを覚えられたからである。
For he remembered his holy word, [and] Abraham his servant;
43 こうして主はその民を導いて喜びつつ出て行かせ、その選ばれた民を導いて歌いつつ出て行かせられた。
And he brought forth his people with gladness, his chosen with rejoicing;
44 主はもろもろの国びとの地を彼らに与えられたので、彼らはもろもろの民の勤労の実を自分のものとした。
And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:
45 これは彼らが主の定めを守り、そのおきてを行うためである。主をほめたたえよ。
That they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Hallelujah!
