ルカの福音書 10
1 その後、主は別に七十二人を選び、行こうとしておられたすべての町や村へ、ふたりずつ先におつかわしになった。
Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy-two others, and sent them two by two ahead of him into every city and place, where he was about to come.
2 そのとき、彼らに言われた、「収穫は多いが、働き人が少ない。だから、収穫の主に願って、その収穫のために働き人を送り出すようにしてもらいなさい。
Then he said to them, "The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest.
3 さあ、行きなさい。わたしがあなたがたをつかわすのは、小羊をおおかみの中に送るようなものである。
Go your way. Look, I send you out as lambs among wolves.
4 財布も袋もくつも持って行くな。だれにも道であいさつするな。
Carry no money bag, nor pack, nor sandals; and greet no one on the way.
5 どこかの家にはいったら、まず『平安がこの家にあるように』と言いなさい。
Into whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house.'
6 もし平安の子がそこにおれば、あなたがたの祈る平安はその人の上にとどまるであろう。もしそうでなかったら、それはあなたがたの上に帰って来るであろう。
If a peaceful person is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.
7 それで、その同じ家に留まっていて、家の人が出してくれるものを飲み食いしなさい。働き人がその報いを得るのは当然である。家から家へと渡り歩くな。
Remain in that same house, eating and drinking the things they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.
8 どの町へはいっても、人々があなたがたを迎えてくれるなら、前に出されるものを食べなさい。
Into whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat the things that are set before you.
9 そして、その町にいる病人をいやしてやり、『神の国はあなたがたに近づいた』と言いなさい。
Heal the sick who are in it, and tell them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'
10 しかし、どの町へはいっても、人々があなたがたを迎えない場合には、大通りに出て行って言いなさい、
But into whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
11 『わたしたちの足についているこの町のちりも、ぬぐい捨てて行く。しかし、神の国が近づいたことは、承知しているがよい』。
'Even the dust from your city that clings to our feet, we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God is near.'
12 あなたがたに言っておく。その日には、この町よりもソドムの方が耐えやすいであろう。
I tell you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
13 わざわいだ、コラジンよ。わざわいだ、ベツサイダよ。おまえたちの中でなされた力あるわざが、もしツロとシドンでなされたなら、彼らはとうの昔に、荒布をまとい灰の中にすわって、悔い改めたであろう。
"Woe to you, Chorazin. Woe to you, Bethsaida. For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 しかし、さばきの日には、ツロとシドンの方がおまえたちよりも、耐えやすいであろう。
But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to hell. (Hadēs g86)
16 あなたがたに聞き従う者は、わたしに聞き従うのであり、あなたがたを拒む者は、わたしを拒むのである。そしてわたしを拒む者は、わたしをおつかわしになったかたを拒むのである」。
Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me. Whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me."
17 七十二人が喜んで帰ってきて言った、「主よ、あなたの名によっていたしますと、悪霊までがわたしたちに服従します」。
The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name."
18 彼らに言われた、「わたしはサタンが電光のように天から落ちるのを見た。
He said to them, "I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven.
19 わたしはあなたがたに、へびやさそりを踏みつけ、敵のあらゆる力に打ち勝つ権威を授けた。だから、あなたがたに害をおよぼす者はまったく無いであろう。
Look, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you.
20 しかし、霊があなたがたに服従することを喜ぶな。むしろ、あなたがたの名が天にしるされていることを喜びなさい」。
Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
21 そのとき、イエスは聖霊によって喜びあふれて言われた、「天地の主なる父よ。あなたをほめたたえます。これらの事を知恵のある者や賢い者に隠して、幼な子にあらわしてくださいました。父よ、これはまことに、みこころにかなった事でした。
In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight."
22 すべての事は父からわたしに任せられています。そして、子がだれであるかは、父のほか知っている者はありません。また父がだれであるかは、子と、父をあらわそうとして子が選んだ者とのほか、だれも知っている者はいません」。
"All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him."
23 それから弟子たちの方に振りむいて、ひそかに言われた、「あなたがたが見ていることを見る目は、さいわいである。
Turning to the disciples, he said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see,
24 あなたがたに言っておく。多くの預言者や王たちも、あなたがたの見ていることを見ようとしたが、見ることができず、あなたがたの聞いていることを聞こうとしたが、聞けなかったのである」。
for I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which you see, and did not see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them."
And look, a certain Law scholar stood up and tested him, saying, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?" (aiōnios g166)
26 彼に言われた、「律法にはなんと書いてあるか。あなたはどう読むか」。
He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How do you read it?"
27 彼は答えて言った、「『心をつくし、精神をつくし、力をつくし、思いをつくして、主なるあなたの神を愛せよ』。また、『自分を愛するように、あなたの隣り人を愛せよ』とあります」。
He answered, "You are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."
28 彼に言われた、「あなたの答は正しい。そのとおり行いなさい。そうすれば、いのちが得られる」。
He said to him, "You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live."
29 すると彼は自分の立場を弁護しようと思って、イエスに言った、「では、わたしの隣り人とはだれのことですか」。
But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus, "Who is my neighbor?"
30 イエスが答えて言われた、「ある人がエルサレムからエリコに下って行く途中、強盗どもが彼を襲い、その着物をはぎ取り、傷を負わせ、半殺しにしたまま、逃げ去った。
Jesus answered, "A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 するとたまたま、ひとりの祭司がその道を下ってきたが、この人を見ると、向こう側を通って行った。
By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 同様に、レビ人もこの場所にさしかかってきたが、彼を見ると向こう側を通って行った。
In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33 ところが、あるサマリヤ人が旅をしてこの人のところを通りかかり、彼を見て気の毒に思い、
But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
34 近寄ってきてその傷にオリブ油とぶどう酒とを注いでほうたいをしてやり、自分の家畜に乗せ、宿屋に連れて行って介抱した。
came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 翌日、デナリ二つを取り出して宿屋の主人に手渡し、『この人を見てやってください。費用がよけいにかかったら、帰りがけに、わたしが支払います』と言った。
On the next day, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, 'Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.'
36 この三人のうち、だれが強盗に襲われた人の隣り人になったと思うか」。
Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?"
37 彼が言った、「その人に慈悲深い行いをした人です」。そこでイエスは言われた、「あなたも行って同じようにしなさい」。
He said, "He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."
38 一同が旅を続けているうちに、イエスがある村へはいられた。するとマルタという名の女がイエスを家に迎え入れた。
It happened as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received him.
39 この女にマリヤという妹がいたが、主の足もとにすわって、御言に聞き入っていた。
She had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the Lord's feet, and heard his word.
40 ところが、マルタは接待のことで忙がしくて心をとりみだし、イエスのところにきて言った、「主よ、妹がわたしだけに接待をさせているのを、なんともお思いになりませんか。わたしの手伝いをするように妹におっしゃってください」。
But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me."
41 主は答えて言われた、「マルタよ、マルタよ、あなたは多くのことに心を配って思いわずらっている。
But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things,
42 しかし、無くてならぬものは多くはない。いや、一つだけである。マリヤはその良い方を選んだのだ。そしてそれは、彼女から取り去ってはならないものである」。
but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her."
