エレミヤ書 30
1 主からエレミヤに臨んだ言葉。
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying:
2 「イスラエルの神、主はこう仰せられる、わたしがあなたに語った言葉を、ことごとく書物にしるしなさい。
'Thus speaketh the LORD, the God of Israel, saying: Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
3 主は言われる、見よ、わたしがわが民イスラエルとユダの繁栄を回復する日が来る。主がこれを言われる。わたしは彼らを、その先祖に与えた地に帰らせ、彼らにこれを保たせる」。
For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will turn the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.'
4 これは主がイスラエルとユダについて言われた言葉である。
And these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
5 「主はこう仰せられる、われわれはおののきの声を聞いた。恐れがあり、平安はない。
For thus saith the LORD: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
6 子を産む男があるか、尋ねてみよ。どうして男がみな子を産む女のように手を腰におくのをわたしは見るのか。なぜ、どの人の顔色も青く変っているのか。
Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child; wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 悲しいかな、その日は大いなる日であって、それに比べるべき日はない。それはヤコブの悩みの時である。しかし彼はそれから救い出される。
Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it; and it is a time of trouble unto Jacob, but out of it shall he be saved.
8 万軍の主は仰せられる、その日わたしは彼らの首からそのくびきを砕き離し、彼らの束縛を解く。異邦の人はもはや、彼らを使役することをしない。
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bands; and strangers shall no more make him their bondman;
9 彼らはその神、主と、わたしが彼らのために立てるその王ダビデに仕える。
But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
10 主は仰せられる、わがしもべヤコブよ、恐れることはない、イスラエルよ、驚くことはない。見よ、わたしがあなたを救って、遠くからかえし、あなたの子孫を救って、その捕え移された地からかえすからだ。ヤコブは帰ってきて、穏やかに安らかにおり、彼を恐れさせる者はない。
Therefore fear thou not, O Jacob My servant, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel; for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall again be quiet and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
11 主は言われる、わたしはあなたと共にいて、あなたを救う。わたしはあなたを散らした国々をことごとく滅ぼし尽す。しかし、あなたを滅ぼし尽すことはしない。わたしは正しい道に従ってあなたを懲らしめる。決して罰しないではおかない。
For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, but I will not make a full end of thee; for I will correct thee in measure, and will not utterly destroy thee.
12 主はこう仰せられる、あなたの痛みはいえず、あなたの傷は重い。
For thus saith the LORD: Thy hurt is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.
13 あなたの訴えを支持する者はなく、あなたの傷をつつむ薬はなく、あなたをいやすものもない。
None deemeth of thy wound that it may be bound up; thou hast no healing medicines.
14 あなたの愛する者は皆あなたを忘れてあなたの事を心に留めない。それは、あなたのとがが多く、あなたの罪がはなはだしいので、わたしがあだを撃つようにあなたを撃ち、残忍な敵のように懲らしたからだ。
All thy lovers have forgotten thee, they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one; for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased.
15 なぜ、あなたの傷のために叫ぶのか、あなたの悩みはいえることはない。あなたのとがが多く、あなたの罪がはなはだしいので、これらの事をわたしはあなたにしたのである。
Why criest thou for thy hurt, that thy pain is incurable? For the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.
16 しかし、すべてあなたを食い滅ぼす者は食い滅ぼされ、あなたをしえたげる者は、ひとり残らず、捕え移され、あなたをかすめる者は、かすめられ、すべてあなたの物を奪う者は奪われる者となる。
Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured, and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
17 主は言われる、わたしはあなたの健康を回復させ、あなたの傷をいやす。それは、人があなたを捨てられた者とよび、『だれも心に留めないシオン』というからである。
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they have called thee an outcast: 'She is Zion, there is none that careth for her.'
18 主はこう仰せられる、見よ、わたしはヤコブの天幕を再び栄えさせ、そのすまいにあわれみを施す。町は、その丘に建てなおされ、宮殿はもと立っていた所に立つ。
Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will turn the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have compassion on his dwelling-places; and the city shall be builded upon her own mound, and the palace shall be inhabited upon its wonted place.
19 感謝の歌と喜ぶ者の声とが、その中から出る。わたしが彼らを増すゆえ、彼らは少なくはなく、また彼らを尊ばれしめるゆえ、卑しめられることはない。
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry; and I will multiply them, and they shall not be diminished, I will also increase them, and they shall not dwindle away.
20 その子らは、いにしえのようになり、その会衆はわたしの前に堅く立つ。すべて彼らをしえたげる者をわたしは罰する。
Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before Me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
21 その君は彼ら自身のうちのひとりであり、そのつかさは、そのうちから出る。わたしは彼をわたしに近づけ、彼はわたしに近づく。だれか自分の命をかけてわたしに近づく者があろうかと主は言われる。
And their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto Me; for who is he that hath pledged his heart to approach unto Me? saith the LORD.
22 あなたがたは、わたしの民となり、わたしはあなたがたの神となる」。
And ye shall be My people, and I will be your God.
23 見よ、主の暴風がくる。憤りと、つむじ風が出て、悪人のこうべをうつ。
Behold, a storm of the LORD is gone forth in fury, a sweeping storm; it shall whirl upon the head of the wicked.
24 主の激しい怒りは、み心に思い定められたことを行って、これを遂げるまで、退くことはない。末の日にあなたがたはこれを悟るのである。
The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until He have executed, and till He have performed the purposes of His heart; in the end of days ye shall consider it.
