エレミヤ書 28
1 その年、すなわちユダの王ゼデキヤの治世の初め、その第四年の五月、ギベオン出身の預言者であって、アズルの子であるハナニヤは、主の宮で祭司とすべての民の前でわたしに語って言った、
And it came to pass in the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah, the son of Azur the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
2 「万軍の主、イスラエルの神はこう仰せられる、わたしはバビロンの王のくびきを砕いた。
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: “I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 二年の内に、バビロンの王ネブカデネザルが、この所から取ってバビロンに携えて行った主の宮の器を、皆この所に帰らせる。
Within two full years will I bring again to this place all the vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon took from this place, and carried to Babylon.
4 わたしはまたユダの王エホヤキムの子エコニヤと、バビロンに行ったユダのすべての捕われ人をこの所に帰らせる。それは、わたしがバビロンの王のくびきを、砕くからであると主は言われる」。
And Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the captives of Judah that went to Babylon, will I bring again to this place, saith Jehovah; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.”
5 そこで預言者エレミヤは主の宮のうちに立っている祭司とすべての民の前で、預言者ハナニヤに言った。
Then Jeremiah the prophet spake to Hananiah the prophet, in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Jehovah.
6 すなわち預言者エレミヤは言った、「アァメン。どうか主がこのようにしてくださるように。どうかあなたの預言した言葉が成就して、バビロンに携えて行った主の宮の器とすべての捕われ人を、主がバビロンから再びこの所に帰らせてくださるように。
And Jeremiah the prophet said, Amen! So may Jehovah do! May Jehovah fulfill thy words which thou hast prophesied, and bring back the vessels of the house of Jehovah, and all the captives from Babylon to this place!
7 ただし、今わたしがあなたとすべての民の聞いている所で語るこの言葉を聞きなさい。
Nevertheless, hear now this word, which I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people.
8 わたしと、あなたの先に出た預言者は、むかしから、多くの地と大きな国について、戦いと、ききんと、疫病の事を預言した。
The prophets who have been before me and before thee from ancient times have also prophesied against many nations, and against great kingdoms, of war, of calamity, and of pestilence.
9 平和を預言する預言者は、その預言者の言葉が成就するとき、真実に主がその預言者をつかわされたのであることが知られるのだ」。
The prophet who prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall he be known as a prophet whom Jehovah hath truly sent.
10 そこで預言者ハナニヤは預言者エレミヤの首から、くびきを取って、それを砕いた。
Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and broke it.
11 そしてハナニヤは、すべての民の前で語り、「主はこう仰せられる、『わたしは二年のうちに、このように、万国民の首からバビロンの王ネブカデネザルのくびきを離して砕く』」と言った。預言者エレミヤは去って行った。
And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: In this manner will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, from the neck of all the nations, within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12 預言者ハナニヤが預言者エレミヤの首から、くびきを離して砕いた後、しばらくして主の言葉がエレミヤに臨んだ、
Then came the word of Jehovah to Jeremiah, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying:
13 「行って、ハナニヤに告げなさい、『主はこう仰せられる、あなたは木のくびきを砕いたが、わたしはそれに替えて鉄のくびきを作ろう。
Go and tell Hananiah, saying: Thou hast broken a yoke of wood, but thou shalt make instead of it a yoke of iron.
14 万軍の主、イスラエルの神はこう仰せられる、わたしは鉄のくびきをこの万国民の首に置いて、バビロンの王ネブカデネザルに仕えさせる。彼らはこれに仕える。わたしは野の獣をも彼に与えた』」。
For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: A yoke of iron do I put upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. The beasts of the field also do I give to him.
15 預言者エレミヤはまた預言者ハナニヤに言った、「ハナニヤよ、聞きなさい。主があなたをつかわされたのではない。あなたはこの民に偽りを信じさせた。
Jeremiah the prophet said also to Hananiah the prophet: Hear now, Hananiah! Jehovah hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
16 それゆえ主は仰せられる、『わたしはあなたを地のおもてから除く。あなたは主に対する反逆を語ったので、今年のうちに死ぬのだ』と」。
Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will cast thee off from the face of the earth. This year thou shalt die; for thou hast spoken rebellion against Jehovah.
17 預言者ハナニヤはその年の七月に死んだ。
And Hananiah the prophet died in the same year, in the seventh month.
