エズラ記 2
1 バビロンの王ネブカデネザルに捕えられて、バビロンに移された者のうち、捕囚をゆるされてエルサレムおよびユダに上って、おのおの自分の町に帰ったこの州の人々は次のとおりである。
Now these are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, everyone to his city;
2 彼らはゼルバベル、エシュア、ネヘミヤ、セラヤ、レエラヤ、モルデカイ、ビルシャン、ミスパル、ビグワイ、レホム、バアナと共に帰ってきた。そのイスラエルの民の人数は次のとおりである。
who came with Zerubbabel, Yeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
3 パロシの子孫は二千百七十二人、
The children of Parosh, two thousand and one hundred and seventy-two.
4 シパテヤの子孫は三百七十二人、
The children of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two.
5 アラの子孫は七百七十五人、
The children of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five.
6 パハテ・モアブの子孫すなわちエシュアとヨアブの子孫は二千八百十二人、
The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Yeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and twelve.
7 エラムの子孫は一千二百五十四人、
The children of Elam, one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
8 ザットの子孫は九百四十五人、
The children of Zattu, nine hundred and forty-five.
9 ザッカイの子孫は七百六十人、
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
10 バニの子孫は六百四十二人、
The children of Bani, six hundred and forty-two.
11 ベバイの子孫は六百二十三人、
The children of Bebai, six hundred and twenty-three.
12 アズガデの子孫は一千二百二十二人、
The children of Azgad, one thousand and two hundred and twenty-two.
13 アドニカムの子孫は六百六十六人、
The children of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty-six.
14 ビグワイの子孫は二千五十六人、
The children of Bigvai, two thousand and fifty-six.
15 アデンの子孫は四百五十四人、
The children of Adin, four hundred and fifty-four.
16 アテルの子孫すなわちヒゼキヤの子孫は九十八人、
The children of Ater, of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
17 ベザイの子孫は三百二十三人、
The children of Bezai, three hundred and twenty-three.
18 ヨラの子孫は百十二人、
The children of Jorah, one hundred and twelve.
19 ハシュムの子孫は二百二十三人、
The children of Hashum, two hundred and twenty-three.
20 ギバルの子孫は九十五人、
The children of Gibbar, ninety-five.
21 ベツレヘムの子孫は百二十三人、
The children of Bethlehem, one hundred and twenty-three.
22 ネトパの人々は五十六人、
The men of Netophah, fifty-six.
23 アナトテの人々は百二十八人、
The men of Anathoth, one hundred and twenty-eight.
24 アズマウテの子孫は四十二人、
The children of Azmaveth, forty-two.
25 キリアテ・ヤリム、ケピラおよびベエロテの子孫は七百四十三人、
The children of Kiriath Arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three.
26 ラマおよびゲバの子孫は六百二十一人、
The children of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one.
27 ミクマシの人々は百二十二人、
The men of Michmas, one hundred and twenty-two.
28 ベテルおよびアイの人々は二百二十三人、
The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred and twenty-three.
29 ネボの子孫は五十二人、
The children of Nebo, fifty-two.
30 マグビシの子孫は百五十六人、
The children of Magbish, one hundred and fifty-six.
31 他のエラムの子孫は一千二百五十四人、
The children of the other Elam, one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
32 ハリムの子孫は三百二十人、
The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
33 ロド、ハデデおよびオノの子孫は七百二十五人、
The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-five.
34 エリコの子孫は三百四十五人、
The children of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five.
35 セナアの子孫は三千六百三十人。
The children of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.
36 祭司は、エシュアの家のエダヤの子孫九百七十三人、
The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Yeshua, nine hundred and seventy-three.
37 インメルの子孫一千五十二人、
The children of Immer, one thousand and fifty-two.
38 パシュルの子孫一千二百四十七人、
The children of Pashhur, one thousand and two hundred and forty-seven.
39 ハリムの子孫一千十七人。
The children of Harim, one thousand and seventeen.
40 レビびとは、ホダヤの子孫すなわちエシュアとカデミエルの子孫七十四人。
The Levites: the children of Yeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy-four.
41 歌うたう者は、アサフの子孫百二十八人。
The singers: the children of Asaph, one hundred and twenty-eight.
42 門衛の子孫は、シャルムの子孫、アテルの子孫、タルモンの子孫、アックブの子孫、ハテタの子孫、ショバイの子孫合わせて百三十九人。
The children of the gatekeepers: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all one hundred and thirty-nine.
43 宮に仕えるしもべたちは、ヂハの子孫、ハスパの子孫、タバオテの子孫、
The temple servants: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
44 ケロスの子孫、シアハの子孫、パドンの子孫、
the children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon,
45 レバナの子孫、ハガバの子孫、アックブの子孫、
the children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub,
46 ハガブの子孫、シャルマイの子孫、ハナンの子孫、
the children of Hagab, the children of Shamlai, the children of Hanan,
47 ギデルの子孫、ガハルの子孫、レアヤの子孫、
the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah,
48 レヂンの子孫、ネコダの子孫、ガザムの子孫、
the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam,
49 ウザの子孫、パセアの子孫、ベサイの子孫、
the children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai,
50 アスナの子孫、メウニムの子孫、ネフシムの子孫、
the children of Asnah, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephisim,
51 バクブクの子孫、ハクパの子孫、ハルホルの子孫、
the children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
52 バヅリテの子孫、メヒダの子孫、ハルシャの子孫、
the children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
53 バルコスの子孫、シセラの子孫、テマの子孫、
the children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Temah,
54 ネヂアの子孫、ハテパの子孫である。
the children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
55 ソロモンのしもべたちの子孫は、ソタイの子孫、ハッソペレテの子孫、ペリダの子孫、
The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Hassophereth, the children of Peruda,
56 ヤアラの子孫、ダルコンの子孫、ギデルの子孫、
the children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
57 シパテヤの子孫、ハッテルの子孫、ポケレテ・ハッゼバイムの子孫、アミの子孫。
the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth Hazzebaim, the children of Ami.
58 宮に仕えるしもべたちとソロモンのしもべたちの子孫とは合わせて三百九十二人。
All the temple servants, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred and ninety-two.
59 次にあげる人々はテル・メラ、テル・ハレサ、ケルブ、アダンおよびインメルから上って来た者であったが、彼らはその氏族とその血統とを示して、そのイスラエルの者であることを明らかにすることができなかった。
These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not show their fathers’ houses and their offspring, whether they were of Israel:
60 すなわちデラヤの子孫、トビヤの子孫、ネコダの子孫で合わせて六百五十二人。
the children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and fifty-two.
61 祭司の子孫のうちにはハバヤの子孫、ハッコヅの子孫、バルジライの子孫があった。バルジライはギレアデびとバルジライの娘たちのうちから妻をめとったので、その名で呼ばれることになった。
Of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Hakkoz, and the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
62 これらの者は系譜に載った者たちのうちに自分の名を尋ねたが見いだされなかったので、汚れた者として、祭司の職から除かれた。
These sought their place amongst those who were registered by genealogy, but they were not found; therefore they were deemed disqualified and removed from the priesthood.
63 総督は彼らに告げて、ウリムとトンミムを身につける祭司の興るまでは、いと聖なる物を食べてはならないと言った。
The governor told them that they should not eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up to serve with Urim and with Thummim.
64 会衆は合わせて四万二千三百六十人であった。
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand and three hundred and sixty,
65 このほかに、しもべおよびはしため合わせて七千三百三十七人、また歌うたう男女二百人あった。
in addition to their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand and three hundred and thirty-seven; and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
66 その馬は七百三十六頭、その騾馬は二百四十五頭、
Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six; their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
67 そのらくだは四百三十五頭、そのろばは六千七百二十頭あった。
their camels, four hundred and thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand and seven hundred and twenty.
68 氏族の長数人はエルサレムにある主の宮の所にきた時、神の宮をもとの所に建てるために真心よりの供え物をささげた。
Some of the heads of fathers’ households, when they came to the LORD’s house which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for God’s house to set it up in its place.
69 すなわち、その力に従って工事のために倉に納めたものは、金六万一千ダリク、銀五千ミナ、祭司の衣服百かさねであった。
They gave according to their ability into the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.
70 祭司、レビびと、および民のある者はエルサレムおよびその近郊に住み、歌うたう者、門衛および宮に仕えるしもべたちはその町々に住み、一般のイスラエルびとは自分たちの町々に住んだ。
So the priests and the Levites, with some of the people, the singers, the gatekeepers, and the temple servants, lived in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
