エゼキエル書 37
1 主の手がわたしに臨み、主はわたしを主の霊に満たして出て行かせ、谷の中にわたしを置かれた。そこには骨が満ちていた。
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
2 彼はわたしに谷の周囲を行きめぐらせた。見よ、谷の面には、はなはだ多くの骨があり、皆いたく枯れていた。
And he led me walk all around among them. And look, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and look, they were very dry.
3 彼はわたしに言われた、「人の子よ、これらの骨は、生き返ることができるのか」。わたしは答えた、「主なる神よ、あなたはご存じです」。
And he said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "LORD, you know."
4 彼はまたわたしに言われた、「これらの骨に預言して、言え。枯れた骨よ、主の言葉を聞け。
Then he said to me, "Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.'
5 主なる神はこれらの骨にこう言われる、見よ、わたしはあなたがたのうちに息を入れて、あなたがたを生かす。
Thus says the LORD to these bones: 'Look, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live.
6 わたしはあなたがたの上に筋を与え、肉を生じさせ、皮でおおい、あなたがたのうちに息を与えて生かす。そこであなたがたはわたしが主であることを悟る」。
And I will put tendons on you, and make flesh grow on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
7 わたしは命じられたように預言したが、わたしが預言した時、声があった。見よ、動く音があり、骨と骨が集まって相つらなった。
So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a sound, and look, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8 わたしが見ていると、その上に筋ができ、肉が生じ、皮がこれをおおったが、息はその中になかった。
And I watched, and look, there were tendons on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them. But there was no breath in them.
9 時に彼はわたしに言われた、「人の子よ、息に預言せよ、息に預言して言え。主なる神はこう言われる、息よ、四方から吹いて来て、この殺された者たちの上に吹き、彼らを生かせ」。
Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and tell the breath, 'Thus says the LORD: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these corpses, that they may live.'"
10 そこでわたしが命じられたように預言すると、息はこれにはいった。すると彼らは生き、その足で立ち、はなはだ大いなる群衆となった。
So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
11 そこで彼はわたしに言われた、「人の子よ、これらの骨はイスラエルの全家である。見よ、彼らは言う、『われわれの骨は枯れ、われわれの望みは尽き、われわれは絶え果てる』と。
Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look, they say, 'Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are completely cut off.'
12 それゆえ彼らに預言して言え。主なる神はこう言われる、わが民よ、見よ、わたしはあなたがたの墓を開き、あなたがたを墓からとりあげて、イスラエルの地にはいらせる。
Therefore prophesy, and tell them, 'Thus says the LORD: Look, I will open your graves and will raise you from your graves, my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel.
13 わが民よ、わたしがあなたがたの墓を開き、あなたがたをその墓からとりあげる時、あなたがたは、わたしが主であることを悟る。
And you will know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves and raise you up out of your graves, my people.
14 わたしがわが霊を、あなたがたのうちに置いて、あなたがたを生かし、あなたがたをその地に安住させる時、あなたがたは、主なるわたしがこれを言い、これをおこなったことを悟ると、主は言われる」。
And I will put my breath in you and you will live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I am the LORD; I have spoken it and I will do it,' says the LORD."
15 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
And the word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
16 「人の子よ、あなたは一本の木を取り、その上に『ユダおよびその友であるイスラエルの子孫のために』と書き、また一本の木を取って、その上に『ヨセフおよびその友であるイスラエルの全家のために』と書け。これはエフライムの木である。
"And you, son of man, take one stick and write on it, 'For Judah, and the people of Israel associated with him.' Then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel associated with him.'
17 あなたはこれらを合わせて、一つの木となせ。これらはあなたの手で一つになる。
Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
18 あなたの民の人々があなたに向かって、『これはなんのことであるか、われわれに示してくれないか』と言う時は、
And when your people ask you, saying, 'Will you not tell us what these things mean?'
19 これに言え、主なる神はこう言われる、見よ、わたしはエフライムの手にあるヨセフと、その友であるイスラエルの部族の木を取り、これをユダの木に合わせて、一つの木となす。これらはわたしの手で一つとなる。
tell them, 'Thus says the LORD: "Look, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will put them on it, that is, on the stick of Judah, and make them into one stick, and they will be one in my hand."'
20 あなたが文字を書いた木が、彼らの目の前で、あなたの手にあるとき、
And the sticks on which you write on will be in your hand in front of them.
21 あなたは彼らに言え。主なる神は、こう言われる、見よ、わたしはイスラエルの人々を、その行った国々から取り出し、四方から彼らを集めて、その地にみちびき、
"Then say to them, 'Thus says the LORD: Look, I am going to take the people of Israel from among the nations where they are gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them into their own land.
22 その地で彼らを一つの民となしてイスラエルの山々におらせ、ひとりの王が彼ら全体の王となり、彼らは重ねて二つの国民とならず、再び二つの国に分れない。
And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over them, and they will no longer be two nations, and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
23 彼らはまた、その偶像と、その憎むべきことどもと、もろもろのとがとをもって、身を汚すことはない。わたしは彼らを、その犯したすべての背信から救い出して、これを清める。そして彼らはわが民となり、わたしは彼らの神となる。
And they will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all their unfaithfulness in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And will they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 わがしもべダビデは彼らの王となる。彼らすべての者のために、ひとりの牧者が立つ。彼らはわがおきてに歩み、わが定めを守って行う。
"'"And my servant David will be king over them; and they will all have one shepherd. And they will walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 彼らはわがしもべヤコブに、わたしが与えた地に住む。これはあなたがたの先祖の住んだ所である。そこに彼らと、その子らと、その子孫とが永遠に住み、わがしもべダビデが、永遠に彼らの君となる。
And they will live in the land that I gave to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they and their children and their children's children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.
26 わたしは彼らと平和の契約を結ぶ。これは彼らの永遠の契約となる。わたしは彼らを祝福し、彼らをふやし、わが聖所を永遠に彼らの中に置く。
And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will give to them and increase their numbers, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forever.
27 わがすみかは彼らと共にあり、わたしは彼らの神となり、彼らはわが民となる。
And my dwelling place will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.
28 そしてわが聖所が永遠に、彼らのうちにあるようになるとき、諸国民は主なるわたしが、イスラエルを聖別する者であることを悟る」。
Then the nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forever."'"
