エゼキエル書 23
1 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2 「人の子よ、ここにふたりの女があった。ひとりの母の娘である。
Son of man, there were two women, daughters of one mother.
3 彼らはエジプトで淫行をした。彼らは若い時に淫行をした。すなわちその所で彼らの胸は押され、その処女の乳ぶさはいじられた。
And they committed fornication in Egypt, in their youth they committed fornication: there were their breasts pressed down, and the teats of their virginity were bruised.
4 彼らの名は姉はアホラ、妹はアホリバである。彼らはわたしのものとなって、むすこ娘たちを産んだ。その本名はアホラはサマリヤ、アホリバはエルサレムである。
And their names were Oolla the elder, and Ooliba her younger sister: and I took them, and they bore sons and daughters. Now for their names, Samaria is Oolla, and Jerusalem is Ooliba.
5 アホラはわたしのものである間に淫行をなし、その恋人なるアッスリヤびとにこがれた。
And Oolla committed fornication against me, and doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians that came to her,
6 すなわち紫の衣をきた軍人、長官、司令官、すべて好ましい若者、馬に乗る者たちである。
Who were clothed with blue, princes, and rulers, beautiful youths, all horsemen, mounted upon horses.
7 彼女は彼らに淫行を供えた。彼らはすべてアッスリヤのえり抜きの人々である。彼女はまた、そのこがれたすべての者のもろもろの偶像をもって、おのれを汚した。
And she committed her fornications with those chosen men, all sons of the Assyrians: and she defiled herself with the uncleanness of all them on whom she doted.
8 彼女はエジプトの日からおこなっていた、その淫行を捨てなかった。それは彼女の若い時に、彼らが彼女と寝、その処女の乳ぶさをいじり、その情欲を彼女の上に注いだからである。
Moreover also she did not forsake her fornications which she had committed in Egypt: for they also lay with her in her youth, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured out their fornication upon her.
9 それゆえ、わたしは彼女をその恋人の手に渡し、そのこがれたアッスリヤの人々の手に渡した。
Therefore have I delivered her into the hands of her lovers, into the hands of the sons of the Assyrians, upon whose lust she doted.
10 彼らは彼女の裸を現し、そのむすこ娘たちを奪い、つるぎをもって彼女を殺した。こうして彼女に対するさばきが行われたとき、彼女は女たちの間の語り草となった。
They discovered her disgrace, took away her sons and daughters, and slew her with the sword: and they became infamous women, and they executed judgments in her.
11 その妹アホリバはこれを見て、姉よりも情欲をほしいままにし、姉の淫行よりも多く淫行をなし、
And when her sister Ooliba saw this, she was mad with lust more than she: and she carried her fornication beyond the fornication of her sister.
12 アッスリヤの人々に恋こがれた。長官、司令官、盛装した軍人、馬に乗る者たちで、すべて好ましい若者たちである。
Impudently prostituting herself to the children of the Assyrians, the princes, and rulers that came to her, clothed with divers colours, to the horsemen that rode upon horses, and to young men all of great beauty.
13 わたしは彼女が身を汚したのを見た。彼らは共に一つの道をたどったが、
And I saw that she was defiled, and that they both took one way.
14 彼女はさらにその淫行を続け、壁に描いた人々を見た。すなわち朱で描いたカルデヤびとの像で、
And she increased her fornications: and when she had seen men painted on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans set forth in colours,
15 腰には帯を結び、頭にはたれさがったずきんをいただいていた。これらはみな官吏のような姿で、その生れた国カルデヤのバビロン人に似ていた。
And girded with girdles about their reins, and with dyed turbans on their heads, the resemblance of all the captains, the likeness of the sons of Babylon, and of the land of the Chaldeans wherein they were born,
16 彼女はこれらを見て、これに恋こがれ、使者をカルデヤの彼らのもとに送った。
She doted upon them with the lust of her eyes, and she sent messengers to them into Chaldea.
17 そこでバビロンの人々は彼女のもとに来て、恋の床につき、情欲をもって彼女を汚したが、彼女は彼らに汚されるにおよんで、その心は彼らから離れた。
And when the sons of Babylon were come to her to the bed of love, they defiled her with their fornications, and she was polluted by them, and her soul was glutted with them.
18 彼女がその淫行を公然と続け、その裸をさらしたので、わたしの心は彼女から離れた。これはあたかもわたしの心が、彼女の姉から離れたと同様である。
And she discovered her fornications, and discovered her disgrace: and my soul was alienated from her, as my soul was alienated from her sister.
19 しかし彼女はなおエジプトの地で姦淫をしたその若き日を覚えて、その淫行を続け、
For she multiplied her fornications, remembering the days of her youth, in which she played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
20 その情夫たちに恋こがれた。その人の肉は、ろばの肉のごとく、その精は馬の精のようであった。
And she was mad with lust after lying with them whose flesh is as the flesh of asses: and whose issue as the issue of horses.
21 このようにあなたは、かのエジプトびとが、あなたの胸に手をつけ、あなたの若い乳ぶさをおさえた時の、若い時の淫行を慕っている」。
And thou hast renewed the wickedness of thy youth, when thy breasts were pressed in Egypt, and the papa of thy virginity broken.
22 それゆえ、アホリバよ、主なる神はこう言われる、「見よ、わたしは、あなたの心がすでに離れたあなたの恋人らを起して、あなたを攻めさせ、彼らに四方から来てあなたを攻めさせる。
Therefore, Ooliba, thus saith the Lord God: Behold I will raise up against thee all thy lovers with whom thy soul hath been glutted: and I will gather them together against thee round about.
23 すなわちバビロンの人々およびカルデヤのすべての人々、ペコデ、ショア、コア、アッスリヤのすべての人々、好ましい若者、長官、司令官、官吏、軍人など、すべて馬に乗る者たちである。
The children of Babylon, and all the Chaldeans, the nobles, and the kings, and princes, all the sons of the Assyrians, beautiful young men, all the captains, and rulers, the princes of princes, and the renowned horsemen.
24 彼らは戦車、貨車、および多くの民を率いて、北からあなたに攻めて来る。大盾、小盾、かぶとを備えて、四方からあなたに攻めかかる。わたしが彼らにさばきをゆだねるゆえ、彼らは、そのおきてに従って、あなたをさばく。
And they shall come upon thee well appointed with chariot and wheel, a multitude of people: they shall be armed against thee on every side with breastplate, and buckler, and helmet: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee by their judgments.
25 わたしはあなたに向かってわたしの憤りを起すゆえ、彼らは怒りをもってあなたを扱い、あなたの鼻と耳とを切り落し、そして残りの者はつるぎに倒れる。彼らはあなたのむすこ娘たちを奪い、生き残った者を火で焼く。
And I will set my jealousy against thee, which they shall execute upon thee with fury: they shall cut off thy nose and thy ears: and what remains shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons, and thy daughters, and thy residue shall be devoured by fire.
26 彼らはまたあなたの衣服をはぎ取り、あなたの美しい飾りを取り去る。
And they shall strip thee of thy garments, and take away the instruments of thy glory.
27 こうしてわたしはあなたの淫乱と、エジプトの地から持って来た淫行とを取り除き、重ねてあなたの目を、エジプトびとに向けて上げさせず、彼らの事を思わないようにする。
And I will put an end to thy wickedness in thee, and thy fornication brought out of the land of Egypt: neither shalt thou lift up thy eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.
28 主なる神はこう言われる、見よ、わたしはあなたの憎む者の手、あなたの心の離れた者の手にあなたを渡す。
For thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will deliver thee into the hands of them whom thou hatest, into their hands with whom thy soul hath been glutted.
29 彼らは憎しみをもってあなたを扱い、あなたの所得をことごとく取り去り、あなたを赤はだかにし、あなたの淫行の裸を現す。あなたの淫乱と淫行とのゆえに、
And they shall deal with thee in hatred, and they shall take away all thy labours, and shall let thee go naked, and full of disgrace, and the disgrace of thy fornication shall be discovered, thy wickedness, and thy fornications.
30 すなわち、あなたが異邦人を慕って姦淫を行い、彼らの偶像をもって身を汚したゆえに、これらのことがあなたに臨むのだ。
They have done these things to thee, because thou hast played the harlot with the nations among which thou wast defiled with their idols.
31 あなたはその姉の道を歩んだので、わたしも彼女の杯をあなたにわたす。
Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister, and I will give her cup into thy hand.
32 主なる神はこう言われる、あなたは姉の深い、大きな杯を飲み、笑い物となり、あざけりとなる、この杯にはそれらが多くこもっている。
Thus saith the Lord God: Thou shalt drink thy sister’s cup, deep, and wide: thou shalt be had in derision and scorn, which containeth very much.
33 あなたは酔いと憂いとに満たされる。驚きと滅びの杯、これがあなたの姉サマリヤの杯である。
Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness, and sorrow: with the cup of grief, and sadness, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.
34 あなたはこれを飲みこれをかたむけ、あなたの髪の毛をひきむしり、あなたの乳ぶさをかきさく。わたしがこれを言うと、主なる神は言われる。
And thou shalt drink it, and shalt drink it up even to the dregs, and thou shalt devour the fragments thereof, thou shalt rend thy breasts: because I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.
35 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、あなたはわたしを忘れ、わたしをあなたのうしろに捨て去ったゆえ、あなたは自分の淫乱と淫行との罪を負わねばならぬ」。
Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Because thou hast forgotten me, and hast cast me off behind thy back, bear thou also thy wickedness, and thy fornications.
36 主はわたしに言われた、「人の子よ、あなたはアホラとアホリバをさばくのか。それならば彼らにその憎むべき事を告げよ。
And the Lord spoke to me, saying: Son of man, dost thou judge Oolla, and Ooliba, and dost thou declare to them their wicked deeds?
37 彼らは姦淫を行い、血が彼らの手の上にある。彼らはその偶像と姦淫を行い、またわたしに産んだ子らを、食物のために彼らにささげた。
Because they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and they have committed fornication with their idols: moreover also their children, whom they bore to me, they have offered to them to be devoured.
38 さらに彼らは、わたしに対してこのようにした。すなわち、彼らは同じ日にわたしの聖所を汚し、わたしの安息日を犯した。
Yea, and they have done this to me. They polluted my sanctuary on the same day, and profaned my sabbaths.
39 彼らはその子らを、偶像にささげるためにほふった同じ日に、わたしの聖所にきて、これを汚した。見よ、彼らがわたしの家の中でしたことはこれである。
And when they sacrificed their children to their idols, and went into my sanctuary the same day to profane it: they did these things even in the midst of my house.
40 さらに彼らは使者をやって、遠くから来るように人々を招いた。見よ、彼らはきた。あなたは、この人々のために身を洗い、目を描き、飾り物を身につけ、
They sent for men coming from afar, to whom they had sent a messenger: and behold they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, and didst paint thy eyes, and wast adorned with women’s ornaments.
41 尊い床に座し、食卓をその前に設け、わたしの香と、わたしの油とを、その上に供えた。
Thou sattest on a very fine bed, and a table was decked before thee: whereupon thou didst set my incense, and my ointment.
42 こうして、のんきな群衆の声は彼女と共にあり、また、荒野から連れて来た通りがかりの酔いどれも、彼らと共にいた。彼らは女たちの手に腕輪をはめさせ、頭に美しい冠をいただかせた。
And there was in her the voice of a multitude rejoicing: and to some that were brought of the multitude of men, and that came from the desert, they put bracelets on their hands, and beautiful crowns on their heads.
43 そこでわたしは言った、彼女と姦淫を行う時、人々は姦淫を犯さないであろうか。
And I said to her that was worn out in her adulteries: Now will this woman still continue in her fornication.
44 人が遊女の所にはいるように、彼らは彼女の所にはいった。こうして彼らは姦淫を行うために、アホラおよびアホリバの所にはいった。
And they went in to her, as to a harlot: so went they in unto Oolla, and Ooliba, wicked women.
45 しかし正しい人々は淫婦のさばきと、血を流した女のさばきとをもって、彼らをさばく。それは彼らが淫婦であって、その手に血があるからである」。
They therefore are just men: these shall judge them as adulteresses are judged, and as shedders of blood are judged: because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
46 主なる神はこう言われる、「わたしは軍隊を彼らに向かって攻め上らせ、彼らを恐れと略奪とに渡す。
For thus saith the Lord God: Bring a multitude upon them, and deliver them over to tumult and rapine:
47 軍隊は彼らを石で打ち、つるぎで切り、そのむすこ娘たちを殺し、火でその家を焼く。
And lee the people stone them with stones, and let them be stabbed with their swords: they shall kill their sons and daughters, and their houses they shall burn with fire.
48 こうしてわたしはこの地に淫乱を絶やす。すべての女はみずからいましめて、あなたがたがしたような淫乱を行わない。
And I will take away wickedness out of the land: and all women shall learn, not to do according to the wickedness of them.
49 あなたがたの淫乱の報いは、あなたがたの上にくだり、あなたがたはその偶像礼拝の罪を負い、そしてわたしが主なる神であることを知るようになる」。
And they shall render your wickedness upon you, and you shall bear the sins of your idols: and you shall know that I am the Lord God.
