エゼキエル書 22
1 また主の言葉がわたしに臨んで言った、
Moreover the word of YHWH came unto me, saying,
2 「人の子よ、あなたはさばくのか。血を流すこの町をさばくのか。それならこの町にそのもろもろの憎むべき事を示して、
Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.
3 言え。主なる神はこう言われる、自分のうちに血を流して、その刑罰の時をまねき、偶像を造ってその身を汚す町よ、
Then say thou, Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.
4 あなたはその流した血によって罪を得、その造った偶像によって汚れ、あなたの日を近づかせ、あなたの年の定めの時はきた。それゆえわたしはあなたをもろもろの国民のあざけりとなし、万国の物笑いとする。
Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
5 あなたに近い者も、遠い者も、汚れと、混乱に満ちているあなたをあざける。
Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.
6 見よ、あなたのうちのイスラエルの君たちは、おのおのその力にしたがって、血を流そうとしている。
Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.
7 父母はあなたのうちで卑しめられ、寄留者はあなたのうちで虐待をうけ、みなしごと、やもめとはあなたのうちで悩まされている。
In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
8 あなたはわたしの聖なるものを卑しめ、わたしの安息日を汚した。
Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my Sabbaths.
9 人をののしって血を流そうとする者は、あなたのうちにおり、人々はあなたのうちで、山の上で食事をし、あなたのうちで、みだらなおこないをし、
In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
10 あなたのうちで、父の裸を現し、あなたのうちで、汚れのうちにある女を犯す。
In thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.
11 またあなたのうちに、その隣の妻と憎むべき事を行う者があり、淫行をもって、その嫁を汚す者があり、自分の父の娘である自分の姉妹を犯す者があり、
And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.
12 また血を流そうとして、あなたのうちで、まいないを取る者がある。あなたは利息と高利とを取り、しえたげによって、あなたの隣り人のものをかすめ、そしてわたしを忘れてしまったと、主なる神は言われる。
In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Sovereign YHWH.
13 それゆえ見よ、あなたが得た不正の利の事、およびあなたのうちにある流血の事に対して、わたしは手を打ちならす。
Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
14 わたしがあなたを攻める日には、あなたの勇気は、これに耐え得ようか。またあなたの手は強くあり得ようか。主なるわたしはこれを宣言し、これをなす。
Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I YHWH have spoken it, and will do it.
15 わたしはあなたを、もろもろの国民のうちに散らし、国々の間にまき、そしてあなたから汚れを除く。
And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
16 わたしはあなたによって、もろもろの国民の前に汚される。そしてあなたはわたしが主であることを知る」。
And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am YHWH.
17 主の言葉がまたわたしに臨んだ、
And the word of YHWH came unto me, saying,
18 「人の子よ、イスラエルの家はわたしに対して、かなかすとなった。彼らはすべて炉の中の銀、青銅、すず、鉄、鉛のかなかすとなった。
Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
19 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、あなたがたは皆かなかすとなったゆえ、見よ、わたしはあなたがたをエルサレムの中に集める。
Therefore thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
20 人が銀、青銅、鉄、鉛、すずなどを炉の中に集め、これに火を吹きかけて溶かすように、わたしは怒りと憤りとをもって、あなたがたを集め入れて溶かす。
As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.
21 すなわち、わたしはあなたがたを集め、わたしの怒りの火を、あなたがたに吹きかける。あなたがたはその中で溶ける。
Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.
22 銀が炉の中で溶けるように、あなたがたもその中で溶ける。そしてあなたがたは主なるわたしが、あなたがたの上に、わたしの怒りを注いだことを知るようになる」。
As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I YHWH have poured out my fury upon you.
23 主の言葉がまたわたしに臨んだ、
And the word of YHWH came unto me, saying,
24 「人の子よ、これに言え、あなたは怒りの日に清められず、また雨の降らない地である。
Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
25 その中の君たちは、獲物を裂くほえるししのような者で、彼らは人々を滅ぼし、宝と尊い物とを取り、そのうちに、やもめの数をふやす。
There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
26 その祭司たちはわが律法を犯し、聖なる物を汚した。彼らは聖なる物と汚れた物とを区別せず、清くない物と清い物との違いを教えず、わが安息日を無視し、こうしてわたしは彼らの間に汚されている。
Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
27 その中にいる君たちは、獲物を裂くおおかみのようで、血を流し、不正の利を得るために人々を滅ぼす。
Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
28 その預言者たちは、水しっくいでこれを塗り、偽りの幻を見、彼らに偽りを占い、主が語らないのに『主なる神はこう言われる』と言う。
And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH, when YHWH hath not spoken.
29 国の民はしえたげを行い、奪うことをなし、乏しい者と貧しい者とをかすめ、不法に他国人をしえたぐ。
The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
30 わたしは、国のために石がきを築き、わたしの前にあって、破れ口に立ち、わたしにこれを滅ぼさせないようにする者を、彼らのうちに尋ねたが得られなかった。
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
31 それゆえ、わたしはわが怒りを彼らの上に注ぎ、わが憤りの火をもって彼らを滅ぼし、彼らのおこないを、そのこうべに報いたと、主なる神は言われる」。
Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Master YHWH.
