出エジプト記 6
1 主はモーセに言われた、「今、あなたは、わたしがパロに何をしようとしているかを見るであろう。すなわちパロは強い手にしいられて、彼らを去らせるであろう。否、彼は強い手にしいられて、彼らを国から追い出すであろう」。
Then the LORD said to Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them from his land.
2 神はモーセに言われた、「わたしは主である。
And God spoke to Moses, and said to him, I [am] the LORD:
3 わたしはアブラハム、イサク、ヤコブには全能の神として現れたが、主という名では、自分を彼らに知らせなかった。
And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, by [the name of] God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
4 わたしはまたカナンの地、すなわち彼らが寄留したその寄留の地を、彼らに与えるという契約を彼らと立てた。
And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers.
5 わたしはまた、エジプトびとが奴隷としているイスラエルの人々のうめきを聞いて、わたしの契約を思い出した。
And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage: and I have remembered my covenant.
6 それゆえ、イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『わたしは主である。わたしはあなたがたをエジプトびとの労役の下から導き出し、奴隷の務から救い、また伸べた腕と大いなるさばきをもって、あなたがたをあがなうであろう。
Wherefore say to the children of Israel, I [am] the LORD, and I will bring you from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with out-stretched arm, and with great judgments:
7 わたしはあなたがたを取ってわたしの民とし、わたしはあなたがたの神となる。わたしがエジプトびとの労役の下からあなたがたを導き出すあなたがたの神、主であることを、あなたがたは知るであろう。
And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD your God, who bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
8 わたしはアブラハム、イサク、ヤコブに与えると手を挙げて誓ったその地にあなたがたをはいらせ、それを所有として、与えるであろう。わたしは主である』と」。
And I will bring you into the land, concerning which I swore to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I [am] the LORD.
9 モーセはこのようにイスラエルの人々に語ったが、彼らは心の痛みと、きびしい奴隷の務のゆえに、モーセに聞き従わなかった。
And Moses spoke so to the children of Israel: but they hearkened not to Moses, by reason of anguish of spirit, and cruel bondage.
10 さて主はモーセに言われた、
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
11 「エジプトの王パロのところに行って、彼がイスラエルの人々をその国から去らせるように話しなさい」。
Go in, speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel depart from his land.
12 モーセは主にむかって言った、「イスラエルの人々でさえ、わたしの言うことを聞かなかったのに、どうして、くちびるに割礼のないわたしの言うことを、パロが聞き入れましょうか」。
And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened to me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who [am] of uncircumcised lips?
13 しかし、主はモーセとアロンに語って、イスラエルの人々と、エジプトの王パロのもとに行かせ、イスラエルの人々をエジプトの地から導き出せと命じられた。
And the LORD spoke to Moses, and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
14 彼らの先祖の家の首長たちは次のとおりである。すなわちイスラエルの長子ルベンの子らはハノク、パル、ヘヅロン、カルミで、これらはルベンの一族である。
These [are] the heads of their father's houses: The sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these [are] the families of Reuben.
15 シメオンの子らはエムエル、ヤミン、オハデ、ヤキン、ゾハル、およびカナンの女から生れたシャウルで、これらはシメオンの一族である。
And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these [are] the families of Simeon.
16 レビの子らの名は、その世代に従えば、ゲルション、コハテ、メラリで、レビの一生は百三十七年であった。
And these [are] the names of the sons of Levi, according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi [were] a hundred and thirty-seven years.
17 ゲルションの子らの一族はリブニとシメイである。
The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.
18 コハテの子らはアムラム、イヅハル、ヘブロン、ウジエルで、コハテの一生は百三十三年であった。
And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath [were] a hundred and thirty-three years.
19 メラリの子らはマヘリとムシである。これらはその世代によるレビの一族である。
And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these [are] the families of Levi, according to their generations.
20 アムラムは父の妹ヨケベデを妻としたが、彼女はアロンとモーセを彼に産んだ。アムラムの一生は百三十七年であった。
And Amram took him Jochebed, his father's sister, for a wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram [were] a hundred and thirty-seven years.
21 イヅハルの子らはコラ、ネペグ、ジクリである。
And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 ウジエルの子らはミサエル、エルザパン、シテリである。
And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.
23 アロンはナションの姉妹、アミナダブの娘エリセバを妻とした。エリセバは彼にナダブ、アビウ、エレアザル、イタマルを産んだ。
And Aaron took him Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, for a wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24 コラの子らはアッシル、エルカナ、アビアサフで、これらはコラびとの一族である。
And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these [are] the families of the Korhites.
25 アロンの子エレアザルはプテエルの娘のひとりを妻とした。彼女はピネハスを彼に産んだ。これらは、その一族によるレビびとの先祖の家の首長たちである。
And Eleazar, Aaron's son, took him [one] of the daughters of Putiel for a wife; and she bore to him Phinehas: these [are] the heads of the fathers of the Levites, according to their families.
26 主が、「イスラエルの人々をその軍団に従って、エジプトの地から導き出しなさい」と言われたのは、このアロンとモーセである。
These [are] that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.
27 彼らはイスラエルの人々をエジプトから導き出すことについて、エジプトの王パロに語ったもので、すなわちこのモーセとアロンである。
These [are] they who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these [are] that Moses and Aaron.
28 主がエジプトの地でモーセに語られた日に、
And it came to pass, on the day [when] the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,
29 主はモーセに言われた、「わたしは主である。わたしがあなたに語ることは、みなエジプトの王パロに語りなさい」。
That the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, I [am] the LORD: speak thou to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all that I say to thee.
30 しかしモーセは主にむかって言った、「ごらんのとおり、わたしは、くちびるに割礼のない者です。パロがどうしてわたしの言うことを聞きいれましょうか」。
And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I [am] of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken to me?
