出エジプト記 36
1 ベザレルとアホリアブおよびすべて心に知恵ある者、すなわち主が知恵と悟りとを授けて、聖所の組立ての諸種の工事を、いかになすかを知らせられた者は、すべて主が命じられたようにしなければならない」。
And Bezalel and Aholiab, and every wise-hearted man, in whom the Lord hath put wisdom and understanding to know how to do every manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, shall make all, just as the Lord hath commanded.
2 そこで、モーセはベザレルとアホリアブおよびすべて心に知恵ある者、すなわち、その心に主が知恵を授けられた者、またきて、その工事をなそうと心に望むすべての者を召し寄せた。
And Moses called for Bezalel and Aholiab, and every wise-hearted man in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, every one whose heart stirred him up to come near unto the work to do it:
3 彼らは聖所の組立ての工事をするために、イスラエルの人々が携えてきたもろもろのささげ物を、モーセから受け取ったが、民はなおも朝ごとに、自発のささげ物を彼のもとに携えてきた。
And they received from Moses the whole of the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it; and these brought unto him yet more free-will offerings morning after morning.
4 そこで聖所のもろもろの工事をする賢い人々はみな、おのおのしていた工事をやめて、
And then came all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, every man from his own work which they were doing.
5 モーセに言った「民があまりに多く携えて来るので、主がせよと命じられた組立ての工事には余ります」。
And they said unto Moses, thus, The people bring more than is required for the service of the work, which the Lord hath commanded to make.
6 モーセは命令を発し、宿営中にふれさせて言った、「男も女も、もはや聖所のために、ささげ物をするに及ばない」。それで民は携えて来ることをやめた。
And Moses gave the command, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman do any more work for the offering of the sanctuary: so the people were restrained from bringing [more].
7 材料はすべての工事をするのにじゅうぶんで、かつ余るからである。
And the stuff prepared was sufficient for all the work to make it, and there was some over.
8 すべて工作をする者のうちの心に知恵ある者は、十枚の幕で幕屋を造った。すなわち亜麻の撚糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸で造り、巧みなわざをもって、それにケルビムを織り出した。
And all the wise-hearted men, among those who wrought the work, made the tabernacle of ten curtains; of twisted linen thread, and blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn; with cherubim, of weaver's work, made he them.
9 幕の長さは、おのおの二十八キュビト、幕の幅は、おのおの四キュビトで、幕はみな同じ寸法である。
The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits: there was one measure for all the curtains.
10 その幕五枚を互に連ね合わせ、また他の五枚の幕をも互に連ね合わせ、
And he coupled together five of the curtains one to another: and the other five curtains he coupled one to another.
11 その一連の端にある幕の縁に青色の乳をつけ、他の一連の端にある幕の縁にも、そのようにした。
And he made loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain, which was the outside in the coupling: the like he made on the border of the curtain, which was the outmost on the second coupling.
12 その一枚の幕に乳五十をつけ、他の一連の幕の端にも、乳五十をつけた。その乳を互に相向かわせた。
Fifty loops made he on the one curtain, and fifty loops made he on the edge of the curtain which was in the second coupling: the loops were fixed opposite to each other.
13 そして金の輪五十を作り、その輪で、幕を互に連ね合わせたので、一つの幕屋になった。
And he made fifty hooks of gold; and he coupled the curtains together one unto the other with the hooks, and the tabernacle became thus one piece.
14 また、やぎの毛糸で幕を作り、幕屋をおおう天幕にした。すなわち幕十一枚を作った。
And he made curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains made he the same.
15 おのおのの幕の長さは三十キュビト、おのおのの幕の幅は四キュビトで、その十一枚の幕は同じ寸法である。
The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of each curtain: there was one measure for the eleven curtains.
16 そして、その幕五枚を一つに連ね合わせ、また、その幕六枚を一つに連ね合わせ、
And he coupled five of the curtains by themselves, and six of the curtains by themselves.
17 その一連の端にある幕の縁に、乳五十をつけ、他の一連の幕の縁にも、乳五十をつけた。
And he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was the outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops made he on the edge of the curtain of the second coupling.
18 そして、青銅の輪五十を作り、その天幕を連ね合わせて一つにした。
And he made fifty hooks of copper, to couple the tent together that it might be one piece.
19 また、あかね染めの雄羊の皮で、天幕のおおいと、じゅごんの皮で、その上にかけるおおいとを作った。
And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above.
20 また幕屋のためにアカシヤ材をもって、立枠を造った。
And he made the boards for the tabernacle, of shittim wood, standing up.
21 枠の長さは十キュビト、枠の幅は、おのおの一キュビト半とし、
Ten cubits was the length of each board, and one cubit and a half was the breadth of each one board.
22 枠ごとに二つの柄を造って、かれとこれとをくい合わせ、幕屋のすべての枠にこのようにした。
There were two tenons for every board, fitted in, one against the other: the like made he for all the boards of the tabernacle.
23 幕屋のために枠を造った。すなわち南側のために枠二十を造った。
And he made the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side, on the right.
24 その二十の枠の下に銀の座四十を造って、この枠の下に、その二つの柄のために二つの座を置き、かの枠の下にも、その二つの柄のために二つの座を置いた。
And forty sockets of silver made he under the twenty boards; two sockets under the one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under the other board for its two tenons.
25 また幕屋の他の側、すなわち北側のためにも枠二十を造った。
And for the other side of the tabernacle, for the north side, he made twenty boards:
26 その銀の座四十を造って、この枠の下にも二つの座を置き、かの枠の下にも二つの座を置いた。
And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under the one board, and two sockets under the other board.
27 また幕屋のうしろ、西側のために枠六つを造り、
And for the back wall of the tabernacle, westward, he made six boards.
28 幕屋のうしろの二つのすみのために枠二つを造った。
And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the back wall.
29 これらは、下で重なり合い、同じくその頂でも第一の環まで重なり合うようにし、その二つとも二つのすみのために、そのように造った。
And they were closely fitting beneath, and they were closely joined together on the top, by means of one ring; thus he did to both of them, for both the corners.
30 こうして、その枠は八つ、その銀の座は十六、おのおのの枠の下に、二つずつ座があった。
And so there were eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets, two sockets under every board.
31 またアカシヤ材の横木を造った。すなわち幕屋のこの側の枠のために五つ、
And he made bars of shittim wood; five, for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle;
32 また幕屋のかの側の枠のために横木五つ、幕屋のうしろの西側の枠のために横木五つを造った。
And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the back wall, westward.
33 枠のまん中にある中央の横木は、端から端まで通るようにした。
And he made the middle bar to pass through the midst of the boards from the one end to the other end.
34 そして、その枠を金でおおい、また横木を通すその環を金で造り、またその横木を金でおおった。
And the boards he overlaid with gold, and their rings he made of gold, as receptacles for the bars, and he overlaid the bars with gold.
35 また青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、垂幕を作り、巧みなわざをもって、それにケルビムを織り出した。
And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and twisted linen; of weaver's work made he it, with cherubim.
36 また、これがためにアカシヤ材の柱四本を作り、金でこれをおおい、その鉤を金にし、その柱のために銀の座四つを鋳た。
And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, their hooks also were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.
37 また幕屋の入口のために青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、色とりどりに織ったとばりを作った。
And he made a hanging for the door of the tabernacle, of blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and twisted linen; the work of the embroiderer;
38 その柱五本と、その鉤とを造り、その柱の頭と桁とを金でおおった。ただし、その五つの座は青銅であった。
And its five pillars with their hooks: and he overlaid their tops and made their fillets with gold; and their five sockets were of copper.
