出エジプト記 28
1 またイスラエルの人々のうちから、あなたの兄弟アロンとその子たち、すなわちアロンとアロンの子ナダブ、アビウ、エレアザル、イタマルとをあなたのもとにこさせ、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせ、
“Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office: Aaron, with Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
2 またあなたの兄弟アロンのために聖なる衣服を作って、彼に栄えと麗しきをもたせなければならない。
You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.
3 あなたはすべて心に知恵ある者、すなわち、わたしが知恵の霊を満たした者たちに語って、アロンの衣服を作らせ、アロンを聖別し、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせなければならない。
You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
4 彼らの作るべき衣服は次のとおりである。すなわち胸当、エポデ、衣、市松模様の服、帽子、帯である。彼らはあなたの兄弟アロンとその子たちとのために聖なる衣服を作り、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせなければならない。
These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a fitted tunic, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
5 彼らは金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸を受け取らなければならない。
They shall use the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.
6 そして彼らは金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸を用い、巧みなわざをもってエポデを作らなければならない。
“They shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.
7 これに二つの肩ひもを付け、その両端を、これに付けなければならない。
It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.
8 エポデの上で、これをつかねる帯は、同じきれでエポデの作りのように、金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で作らなければならない。
The skillfully woven band, which is on it, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.
9 あなたは二つの縞めのうを取って、その上にイスラエルの子たちの名を刻まなければならない。
You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel.
10 すなわち、その名六つを一つの石に、残りの名六つを他の石に、彼らの生れた順に刻まなければならない。
Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.
11 宝石に彫刻する人が印を彫刻するように、イスラエルの子たちの名をその二つの石に刻み、それを金の編細工にはめ、
With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel. You shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.
12 この二つの石をエポデの肩ひもにつけて、イスラエルの子たちの記念の石としなければならない。こうしてアロンは主の前でその両肩に彼らの名を負うて記念としなければならない。
You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel. Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD on his two shoulders for a memorial.
13 あなたはまた金の編細工を作らなければならない。
You shall make settings of gold,
14 そして二つの純金の鎖を、ひも細工にねじて作り、そのひもの鎖をかの編細工につけなければならない。
and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work. You shall put the braided chains on the settings.
15 あなたはまたさばきの胸当を巧みなわざをもって作り、これをエポデの作りのように作らなければならない。すなわち金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、これを作らなければならない。
“You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.
16 これは二つに折って四角にし、長さは一指当り、幅も一指当りとしなければならない。
It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length, and a span its width.
17 またその中に宝石を四列にはめ込まなければならない。すなわち紅玉髄、貴かんらん石、水晶の列を第一列とし、
You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;
18 第二列は、ざくろ石、るり、赤縞めのう。
and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
19 第三列は黄水晶、めのう、紫水晶。
and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
20 第四列は黄碧玉、縞めのう、碧玉であって、これらを金の編細工の中にはめ込まなければならない。
and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.
21 その宝石はイスラエルの子らの名に従い、その名とひとしく十二とし、おのおの印の彫刻のように十二の部族のためにその名を刻まなければならない。
The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
22 またひも細工にねじた純金の鎖を胸当につけなければならない。
You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.
23 また、胸当のために金の環二つを作り、胸当の両端にその二つの環をつけ、
You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
24 かの二筋の金のひもを胸当の端の二つの環につけなければならない。
You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
25 ただし、その二筋のひもの他の両端をかの二つの編細工につけ、エポデの肩ひもにつけて、前にくるようにしなければならない。
The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.
26 あなたはまた二つの金の環を作って、これを胸当の両端につけなければならない。すなわちエポデに接する内側の縁にこれをつけなければならない。
You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
27 また二つの金の環を作って、これをエポデの二つの肩ひもの下の部分につけ、前の方で、そのつなぎ目に近く、エポデの帯の上の方にあるようにしなければならない。
You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
28 胸当は青ひもをもって、その環をエポデの環に結びつけ、エポデの帯の上の方にあるようにしなければならない。こうして胸当がエポデから離れないようにしなければならない。
They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.
29 アロンが聖所にはいる時は、さばきの胸当にあるイスラエルの子たちの名をその胸に置き、主の前に常に覚えとしなければならない。
Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
30 あなたはさばきの胸当にウリムとトンミムを入れて、アロンが主の前にいたる時、その胸の上にあるようにしなければならない。こうしてアロンは主の前に常にイスラエルの子たちのさばきを、その胸に置かなければならない。
You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before the LORD. Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before the LORD continually.
31 あなたはまた、エポデに属する上服をすべて青地で作らなければならない。
“You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32 頭を通す口を、そのまん中に設け、その口の周囲には、よろいのえりのように織物の縁をつけて、ほころびないようにし、
It shall have a hole for the head in the middle of it. It shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.
33 そのすそには青糸、紫糸、緋糸で、ざくろを作り、そのすその周囲につけ、また周囲に金の鈴をざくろの間々につけなければならない。
On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, all around its hem; with bells of gold between and around them:
34 すなわち金の鈴にざくろ、また金の鈴にざくろと、上服のすその周囲につけなければならない。
a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.
35 アロンは務の時、これを着なければならない。彼が聖所にはいって主の前にいたる時、また出る時、その音が聞えて、彼は死を免れるであろう。
It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before the LORD, and when he comes out, that he not die.
36 あなたはまた純金の板を造り、印の彫刻のように、その上に『主に聖なる者』と刻み、
“You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, ‘HOLY TO THE LORD.’
37 これを青ひもで帽子に付け、それが帽子の前の方に来るようにしなければならない。
You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash. It shall be on the front of the sash.
38 これはアロンの額にあり、そしてアロンはイスラエルの人々がささげる聖なる物、すなわち彼らのもろもろの聖なる供え物についての罪の責めを負うであろう。これは主の前にそれらの受けいれられるため、常にアロンの額になければならない。
It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
39 あなたは亜麻糸で市松模様に下服を織り、亜麻布で、ずきんを作り、また、帯を色とりどりに織って作らなければならない。
You shall weave the tunic with fine linen. You shall make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.
40 あなたはまたアロンの子たちのために下服を作り、彼らのために帯を作り、彼らのために、ずきんを作って、彼らに栄えと麗しきをもたせなければならない。
“You shall make tunics for Aaron’s sons. You shall make sashes for them. You shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.
41 そしてあなたはこれをあなたの兄弟アロンおよび彼と共にいるその子たちに着せ、彼らに油を注ぎ、彼らを職に任じ、彼らを聖別し、祭司として、わたしに仕えさせなければならない。
You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
42 また、彼らのために、その隠し所をおおう亜麻布のしたばきを作り、腰からももに届くようにしなければならない。
You shall make them linen pants to cover their naked flesh. They shall reach from the waist even to the thighs.
43 アロンとその子たちは会見の幕屋にはいる時、あるいは聖所で務をするために祭壇に近づく時に、これを着なければならない。そうすれば、彼らは罪を得て死ぬことはないであろう。これは彼と彼の後の子孫とのための永久の定めでなければならない。
They shall be on Aaron and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they do not bear iniquity, and die. This shall be a statute forever to him and to his offspring after him.
