サムエル記Ⅱ 22
1 ダビデは主がもろもろの敵の手とサウルの手から、自分を救い出された日に、この歌の言葉を主に向かって述べ、
David sang to Yahweh the words of this song on the day that Yahweh rescued him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.
2 彼は言った、「主はわが岩、わが城、わたしを救う者、
He prayed, “Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, the one who rescues me.
3 わが神、わが岩。わたしは彼に寄り頼む。わが盾、わが救の角、わが高きやぐら、わが避け所、わが救主。あなたはわたしを暴虐から救われる。
God is my rock. I take refuge in him. He is my shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold, and my refuge, the one who saves me from violence.
4 わたしは、ほめまつるべき主に呼ばわって、わたしの敵から救われる。
I will call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised, and I will be saved from my enemies.
5 死の波はわたしをとりまき、滅びの大水はわたしを襲った。
For the waves of death surrounded me, the rushing waters of destruction overwhelmed me.
The cords of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of death trapped me. (Sheol h7585)
7 苦難のうちにわたしは主を呼び、またわが神に呼ばわった。主がその宮からわたしの声を聞かれて、わたしの叫びはその耳にとどいた。
In my distress I called to Yahweh; I called to my God; he heard my voice from his temple, and my call for help went into his ears.
8 その時地は震いうごき、天の基はゆるぎふるえた。彼が怒られたからである。
Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations of the heavens trembled and were shaken, because God was angry.
9 煙はその鼻からたち上り、火はその口から出て焼きつくし、白熱の炭は彼から燃え出た。
Smoke went up from out of his nostrils, and blazing fire came out of his mouth. Coals were ignited by it.
10 彼は天を低くして下られ、暗やみが彼の足の下にあった。
He opened the heavens and came down, and thick darkness was under his feet.
11 彼はケルブに乗って飛び、風の翼に乗ってあらわれた。
He rode on a cherub and flew. He was seen on the wings of the wind.
12 彼はその周囲に幕屋として、やみと濃き雲と水の集まりとを置かれた。
He made darkness a tent around him, gathering heavy rain clouds in the skies.
13 そのみ前の輝きから炭火が燃え出た。
From the lightning before him coals of fire fell.
14 主は天から雷をとどろかせ、いと高き者は声を出された。
Yahweh thundered from the heavens. The Most High shouted.
15 彼はまた矢を放って彼らを散らし、いなずまを放って彼らを撃ち破られた。
He shot arrows and scattered his enemies— lightning bolts and dispersed them.
16 主のとがめと、その鼻のいぶきとによって、海の底はあらわれ、世界の基が、あらわになった。
Then the channels of the sea were seen; the foundations of the world were laid bare at the rebuke of Yahweh, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17 彼は高き所から手を伸べてわたしを捕え、大水の中からわたしを引き上げ、
He reached down from above; he took hold of me! He pulled me out of the surging water.
18 わたしの強い敵と、わたしを憎む者とからわたしを救われた。彼らはわたしにとって、あまりにも強かったからだ。
He rescued me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.
19 彼らはわたしの災の日にわたしに、たち向かった。しかし主はわたしの支柱となられた。
They came against me on the day of my distress, but Yahweh was my support.
20 彼はまたわたしを広い所へ引きだされ、わたしを喜ばれて、救ってくださった。
He also brought me out to a wide open place. He saved me because he was pleased with me.
21 主はわたしの義にしたがってわたしに報い、わたしの手の清きにしたがってわたしに報いかえされた。
Yahweh has rewarded me to the measure of my righteousness; he has restored me to the measure of the cleanness of my hands.
22 それは、わたしが主の道を守り、悪を行わず、わが神から離れたことがないからである。
For I have kept the ways of Yahweh and have not acted wickedly by turning from my God.
23 そのすべてのおきてはわたしの前にあって、わたしはその、み定めを離れたことがない。
For all his righteous decrees have been before me; as for his statutes, I have not turned away from them.
24 わたしは主の前に欠けた所なく、自らを守って罪を犯さなかった。
I have also been innocent before him, and I have kept myself from sin.
25 それゆえ、主はわたしの義にしたがい、その目のまえにわたしの清きにしたがって、わたしに報いられた。
Therefore Yahweh has restored me to the measure of my righteousness, to the degree of my cleanness in his sight.
26 忠実な者には、あなたは忠実な者となり、欠けた所のない人には、あなたは欠けた所のない者となり、
To one who is faithful, you show yourself to be faithful; to a man who is blameless, you show yourself to be blameless.
27 清い者には、あなたは清い者となり、まがった者には、かたいぢな者となられる。
With the pure you show yourself pure, but you are perverse to the twisted.
28 あなたはへりくだる民を救われる、しかしあなたの目は高ぶる者を見てこれをひくくせられる。
You save afflicted people, but your eyes are against the proud, and you bring them down.
29 まことに、主よ、あなたはわたしのともし火、わが神はわたしのやみを照される。
For you are my lamp, Yahweh. Yahweh lights up my darkness.
30 まことに、あなたによってわたしは敵軍をふみ滅ぼし、わが神によって石がきをとび越えることができる。
For by you I can run over a barricade; by my God I can leap over a wall.
31 この神こそ、その道は非のうちどころなく、主の約束は真実である。彼はすべて彼に寄り頼む者の盾である。
As for God, his way is perfect. The word of Yahweh is pure. He is a shield to everyone who takes refuge in him.
32 主のほかに、だれが神か、われらの神のほか、だれが岩であるか。
For who is God except Yahweh, and who is a rock except our God?
33 この神こそわたしの堅固な避け所であり、わたしの道を安全にされた。
God is my refuge, and he leads the blameless person on his path.
34 わたしの足をめじかの足のようにして、わたしを高い所に安全に立たせ、
He makes my feet swift like a deer and places me on the high hills.
35 わたしの手を戦いに慣らされたので、わたしの腕は青銅の弓を引くことができる。
He trains my hands for war, and my arms to bend a bow of bronze.
36 あなたはその救の盾をわたしに与え、あなたの助けは、わたしを大いなる者とされた。
You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your favor has made me great.
37 あなたはわたしが歩く広い場所を与えられたので、わたしの足はすべらなかった。
You have made a wide place for my feet beneath me, so my feet have not slipped.
38 わたしは敵を追って、これを滅ぼし、これを絶やすまでは帰らなかった。
I pursued my enemies and destroyed them. I did not turn back until they were destroyed.
39 わたしは彼らを絶やし、彼らを砕いたので彼らは立つことができず、わたしの足もとに倒れた。
I devoured them and smashed them; they cannot rise. They have fallen under my feet.
40 あなたは戦いのために、わたしに力を帯びさせわたしを攻める者をわたしの下にかがませられた。
You put strength on me like a belt for battle; you put under me those who rise up against me.
41 あなたによって、敵はそのうしろをわたしに向けたので、わたしを憎む者をわたしは滅ぼした。
You gave me the back of my enemies' necks; I annihilated those who hated me.
42 彼らは見まわしたが、救う者はいなかった。彼らは主に叫んだが、彼らには答えられなかった。
They cried for help, but no one saved them; they cried out to Yahweh, but he did not answer them.
43 わたしは彼らを地のちりのように細かに打ちくだき、ちまたのどろのように、踏みにじった。
I beat them into fine pieces like dust on the ground, I pulverized them like mud in the streets.
44 あなたはわたしを国々の民との争いから救い出し、わたしをもろもろの国民のかしらとされた。わたしの知らなかった民がわたしに仕えた。
You also have rescued me from the disputes of my own people. You have kept me as the head of nations. A people that I have not known serves me.
45 異国の人たちはきてわたしにこび、わたしの事を聞くとすぐわたしに従った。
Foreigners were forced to bow to me. As soon as they heard of me, they obeyed me.
46 異国の人たちは、うちしおれてその城からふるえながら出てきた。
The foreigners came trembling out of their strongholds.
47 主は生きておられる。わが岩はほむべきかな。わが神、わが救の岩はあがむべきかな。
Yahweh lives! May my rock be praised. May God be exalted, the rock of my salvation.
48 この神はわたしのために、あだを報い、もろもろの民をわたしの下に置かれた。
This is the God who executes vengeance for me, the one who brings down peoples under me.
49 またわたしを敵から救い出し、あだの上にわたしをあげ、暴虐の人々からわたしを救い出された。
He sets me free from my enemies. Indeed, you lifted me up above those who rose up against me. You rescue me from violent men.
50 それゆえ、主よ、わたしはもろもろの国民の中で、あなたをたたえ、あなたの、み名をほめ歌うであろう。
Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.
51 主はその王に大いなる勝利を与え、油を注がれた者に、ダビデとその子孫とに、とこしえに、いつくしみを施される」。
God gives great victory to his king, and he shows his covenant loyalty to his anointed one, to David and to his descendants forever.”
