1 ベニヤミンの生んだ者は長子はベラ、その次はアシベル、第三はアハラ、
And Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2 第四はノハ、第五はラパ。
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 ベラの子らはアダル、ゲラ、アビウデ、
And there are sons to Bela: Addar, and Gera,
4 アビシュア、ナアマン、アホア、
and Abihud, and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 ゲラ、シフパム、ヒラム。
and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 エホデの子らは次のとおりである。（これらはゲバの住民の氏族の長であって、マナハテに捕え移されたものである。）
And these [are] sons of Ehud—they are heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Geba, and they remove them to Manahath:
7 すなわちナアマン、アヒヤ、ゲラすなわちヘグラム。ゲラはウザとアヒフデの父であった。
even Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, who removed them and begot Uzza and Ahihud.
8 シャハライムは妻ホシムとバアラを離別してのち、モアブの国で子らをもうけた。
And Shaharaim begot in the field of Moab after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara [are] his wives.
9 彼が妻ホデシによってもうけた子らはヨバブ、ヂビア、メシャ、マルカム、
And he begets of his wife Hodesh: Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10 エウヅ、シャキヤ、ミルマ。これらはその子らであって氏族の長である。
and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These [are] his sons, heads of fathers.
11 彼はまたホシムによってアビトブとエルパアルをもうけた。
And of Hushim he begot Ahitub and Elpaal.
12 エルパアルの子らはエベル、ミシャムおよびセメド。彼はオノとロドとその村々を建てた者である。
And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),
13 またベリアとシマがあった。（これはアヤロンの住民の氏族の長であって、ガテの住民を追い払ったものである。）
and Beriah and Shema (they [are] the heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Aijalon—they caused the inhabitants of Gath to flee),
14 またアヒオ、シャシャク、エレモテ。
and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
15 ゼバデヤ、アラデ、アデル、
and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,
16 ミカエル、イシパおよびヨハはベリアの子らであった。
and Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, sons of Beriah,
17 ゼバデヤ、メシュラム、ヘゼキ、ヘベル、
and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,
18 イシメライ、エズリアおよびヨバブはエルパアルの子らであった。
and Ishmerai, and Jezliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal;
19 ヤキン、ジクリ、ザベデ、
and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
20 エリエナイ、チルタイ、エリエル、
and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
21 アダヤ、ベラヤおよびシムラテはシマの子らであった。
and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei;
22 イシパン、ヘベル、エリエル、
and Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 アブドン、ジクリ、ハナン、
and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 ハナニヤ、エラム、アントテヤ、
and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 イペデヤおよびペヌエルはシャシャクの子らであった。
and Iphedeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak;
26 シャムセライ、シハリア、アタリヤ、
and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 ヤレシャ、エリヤおよびジクリはエロハムの子らであった。
and Jaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham.
28 これらは歴代の氏族の長であり、またかしらであって、エルサレムに住んだ。
These [are] heads of fathers, by their generations, [the] heads. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 ギベオンの父エイエルはギベオンに住み、その妻の名はマアカといった。
And the father of Gibeon has dwelt in Gibeon, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
30 その長子はアブドンで、次はツル、キシ、バアル、ナダブ、
and his son, the firstborn, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Ba‘al, and Nadab,
31 ゲドル、アヒオ、ザケル、
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;
32 およびミクロテ。ミクロテはシメアを生んだ。これらもまた兄弟たちと向かいあってエルサレムに住んだ。
and Mikloth begot Shimeah. And they also dwelt opposite their brothers—with their brothers in Jerusalem.
33 ネルはキシを生み、キシはサウルを生み、サウルはヨナタン、マルキシュア、アビナダブ、エシバアルを生んだ。
And Ner begot Kish, and Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Ba‘al.
34 ヨナタンの子はメリバアルで、メリバアルはミカエルを生んだ。
And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Ba‘al, and Merib-Ba‘al begot Micah;
35 ミカの子らはピトン、メレク、タレア、アハズである。
and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:
36 アハズはエホアダを生み、エホアダはアレメテ、アズマウテ、ジムリを生み、ジムリはモザを生み、
and Ahaz begot Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza,
37 モザはビネアを生んだ。ビネアの子はラパ、ラパの子はエレアサ、エレアサの子はアゼルである。
and Moza begot Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 アゼルには六人の子があり、その名はアズリカム、ボケル、イシマエル、シャリヤ、オバデヤ、ハナンで、皆アゼルの子である。
And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel.
39 その兄弟エセクの子らは、長子はウラム、次はエウシ、第三はエリペレテである。
And sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 ウラムの子らは大勇士で、よく弓を射る者であった。彼は多くの子と孫をもち、百五十人もあった。これらは皆ベニヤミンの子孫である。
And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valor, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son’s sons—one hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.
