マルコの福音書 15
1 明け方になるとすぐ，祭司長たちは長老たちや律法学者たちと共に，つまり最高法院全体で協議をしてから，イエスを縛って連れ出し，ピラトに引き渡した。
And straightaway in the morning the chief priests with the elders and scholars and the whole council, having made a plan, after binding Jesus, they took him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.
2 ピラトは彼に尋ねた，「お前はユダヤ人の王なのか」。 彼は答えた，「あなたがそう言っている」 。
And Pilate questioned him, Are thou the king of the Jews? And having answered, he said to him, Thou say.
3 祭司長たちは多くの事について彼を訴えた。
And the chief priests accused him of many things.
4 ピラトは再び彼に尋ねた，「何も答えないのか。彼らがお前に対してどれほど多くの事を証言しているかを見よ」。
And Pilate again questioned him, saying, Thou answer nothing? Behold how many things they testify against thee.
5 しかしイエスはそれ以上何も答えなかった。そのためピラトは驚いた。
But Jesus answered nothing any more, so as for Pilate to wonder.
6 さて，ピラトは祭りの際に，人々が彼に願い出る囚人を一人，彼らのために釈放するのを慣例としていた。
Now during a feast he released to them one prisoner, whomever they requested.
7 バラバと呼ばれる者が，暴動を起こした者たち，暴動において殺人を犯した男たちと共に拘禁されていた。
And a man who was called Barabbas was with the rebels who were bound, men who had committed murder during the insurrection.
8 群衆が大声で叫んで，自分たちにいつものとおりにして欲しいとピラトに願い始めた。
And having cried aloud, the multitude began to ask as he was always doing for them.
9 ピラトは彼らに答えて言った，「お前たちはユダヤ人の王を釈放して欲しいのか」。
And Pilate answered them, saying, Do ye wish that I would release to you the king of the Jews?
10 祭司長たちがねたみのためにイエスを引き渡したことに気づいていたからである。
For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him up because of envy.
11 しかし祭司長たちは，代わりにバラバを釈放させようとして群衆を扇動した。
But the chief priests incited the crowd, so that he would release Barabbas to them instead.
12 ピラトは再び彼らに答えた，「それでは，お前たちがユダヤ人の王と呼ぶ者はどうしたらよいのか」。
And again having answered, Pilate said to them, What then do ye wish I would do to the man whom ye call the king of the Jews?
13 彼らは再び叫んで言った，「はりつけにしろ！」
And they cried out again, Crucify him.
14 ピラトは彼らに言った，「彼がどんな悪事をしたというのか」。 しかし彼らは激しく叫んで言った，「はりつけにしろ！」
And Pilate said to them, For what evil has he done? But they cried out even more, Crucify him.
15 ピラトは群衆を満足させようと思い，彼らのためにバラバを釈放した。そして，イエスをむち打ってから，はりつけにするために引き渡した。
And Pilate, wanting to do what was sufficient for the crowd, released Barabbas to them. And he delivered Jesus, after scourging, so that he might be crucified.
16 兵士たちは彼を邸宅，すなわちプラエトリウムの中に引いて行った。そして全部隊を呼び集めた。
And the soldiers led him away inside the courtyard, which is the Praetorium, and they call together the whole band.
17 紫の衣を彼にまとわせ，イバラの冠を編んで彼にかぶせた。
And they put purple clothing on him, and clothe him with a woven crown of thorns,
18 彼に「ユダヤ人の王様，万歳！」と言ってあいさつをし始めた。
and began to salute him, Hail, king of the Jews!
19 アシで彼の頭をたたき，ひざをかがめて敬意をささげた。
And they struck his head with a reed, and spat upon him, and bowing their knees worshiped him.
20 彼をなぶりものにした後，彼から紫の衣を脱がせて，もとの衣を着せた。彼らは彼をはりつけにするために引いて行った。
And when they had mocked him, they took the purple garment off of him, and dressed him with his own garments. And they lead him out so that they might crucify him.
21 田舎から出て来た通りがかりの者で，アレクサンデルとルフォスの父であるキュレネのシモンを一緒に来させて，イエスの十字架を運ばせた。
And they draft a certain Simon, a Cyrenian passing by coming from the countryside, the father of Alexander and Rufus, so that he would take his cross.
22 ゴルゴタ，訳せば「どくろの場所」と呼ばれる場所へ彼を連れて来た。
And they bring him to the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, the place of a skull.
23 彼に飲ませようとして没薬を混ぜたブドウ酒を差し出したが，彼はそれを受けなかった。
And they gave him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but he did not take it.
24 彼をはりつけにしてから，だれが何を取るかくじを引いて，互いにその外衣を分けた。
And having crucified him, they divided his garments, casting a lot for them, who would take what.
25 時は第三時であり，彼らは彼をはりつけにした。
And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
26 彼の上には「ユダヤ人の王」という罪状書きが記されていた。
And the inscription of his accusation was inscribed, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 彼と共に二人の強盗をはりつけにし，一人はその右に，一人はその左に置いた。
And they crucify two robbers with him, one at his right hand, and one at his left.
28 こうして，「彼は罪人たちと共に数えられた」と言う聖句が果たされた。
And the scripture was fulfilled, which says, And he was reckoned with lawless men.
29 通りかかった者たちは，頭を振りながら彼を冒とくして言った，「へえ！ 神殿を壊して三日で建てる者よ，
And those who passed by railed at him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ha! Thou who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,
30 十字架から降りて来て自分を救ってみろ！」
save thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 同じように，祭司長たちも律法学者たちと一緒になって，代わる代わるあざけって言った，「ほかの者たちは救ったが，自分は救えないのだ。
Likewise also the chief priests mocking among each other with the scholars said, He saved others, he cannot save himself.
32 キリスト，イスラエルの王よ，さあ，十字架から降りて来るがよい。そうしたらそれを見て信じよう」。一緒にはりつけになっていた者たちも，彼を侮辱した。
Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe in him. And those who were crucified with him reviled him.
33 第六時になると闇が全土を覆い，第九時にまで及んだ。
And having become the sixth hour, darkness occurred over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 第九時に，イエスは大声で叫んで，「エロイ，エロイ，ラマ，サバクタニ」 と言った。これは，訳せば，「わたしの神，わたしの神，なぜわたしをお見捨てになったのですか」 という意味である。
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a great voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why have thou forsaken me?
35 そばに立っていた者たちの何人かは，それを聞いて，「見ろ，エリヤを呼んでいるのだ」と言った。
And some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calls Elijah.
36 ある者が走って行き，海綿に酢をたっぷり含ませて，アシの先に付け，それを彼に飲まそうとして，「彼をそのままにしておけ。エリヤが彼を降ろしに来るかどうかを見よう」と言った。
And one having ran, and having filled a sponge of vinegar, and having placed it on a reed, gave him to drink, saying, Leave be. We might see if Elijah comes to take him down.
37 イエスは大声で叫んで，自分の霊を引き渡した。
And having given out a great voice, Jesus expired.
38 神殿の幕が上から下まで二つに裂けた。
And the curtain of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
39 彼に向かい合って立っていた百人隊長は，彼がこのように叫んで息を引き取ったのを見て，「本当にこの人は神の子だった！」と言った。
And when the centurion, who stood from opposite him, saw that he expired, having cried out this way, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
40 女たちも遠くから見ていたが，その中にはマリア・マグダレネ，小ヤコブとヨセの母マリア，それにサロメがいた。
And there were also women looking on from a distance, among whom were also Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the small man, and of Joses, and Salome;
41 これらは，彼がガリラヤにいた時，彼に従って仕えて者たちであった。そして，彼と共にエルサレムに上って来たほかの大勢の女たちもいた。
women who also followed him and served him when he was in Galilee, also many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
42 すでに夕方になっていた。準備の日，すなわち安息日の前日だったので，
And now having become evening, since it was the Preparation, that is, pre-sabbath,
43 最高法院の有力な議員であるアリマタヤのヨセフがやって来た。彼自身も神の王国を待ち望んでいた。思い切ってピラトのところへ行き，イエスの体を渡してくれるようにと願い出た。
Joseph of Arimathaea came, an honorable councilman who also himself was awaiting the kingdom of God, emboldened, he went in near Pilate, and requested the body of Jesus.
44 ピラトは，彼がもう死んだのだろうかと不思議に思い，百人隊長を呼び寄せて，彼がもはや死んでしまったのかどうかを尋ねた。
And Pilate wondered if he died already. And having summoned the centurion, he questioned him if he was already dead.
45 百人隊長から確かめると，ピラトは死体をヨセフに与えた。
And having ascertained from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
46 彼は亜麻布を買い，イエスを取り降ろして亜麻布に包み，岩に切り掘ってあった墓に横たえた。墓の入り口に石を転がしておいた。
And having bought fine linen, and having taken him down, he wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulcher, being that which had been hewn out of rock. And he rolled a stone to the door of the sepulcher.
47 マリア・マグダレネとヨセの母マリアは，イエスの横たえられた場所を見ていた。
And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.
