1 わが妹わがはなよめよ 我はわが園にいり わが沒藥と薫物とを採り わが蜜房と蜜とを食ひ わが酒とわが乳とを飮り わが伴侶等よ 請ふ食へ わが愛する人々よ 請ふ飮あけよ
to come (in): come to/for garden my sister my daughter-in-law: bride to pluck myrrh my with spice my to eat honeycomb my with honey my to drink wine my with milk my to eat neighbor to drink and be drunk beloved: love
2 われは睡りたれどもわが心は醒ゐたり 時にわが愛する者の聲あり 即はち門をたたきていふ わが妹わが佳耦 わが鴿 わが完きものよ われのために開け わが首には露滿ち わが髮の毛には夜の點滴みてりと
I sleeping and heart my to rouse voice: sound beloved my to beat to open to/for me sister my darling my dove my complete my which/that head my to fill dew lock my drop night
3 われすでにわが衣服を脱り いかでまた着るべき 已にわが足をあらへり いかでまた汚すべき

4 わが愛する者戸の穴より手をさしいれしかば わが心かれのためにうごきたり

5 やがて起いでてわが愛する者の爲に開かんとせしとき 沒藥わが手より沒藥の汁わが指よりながれて關木の把柄のうへにしたたれり

6 我わが愛する者の爲に開きしに わが愛する者は已に退き去りぬ さきにその物いひし時はわが心さわぎたり 我かれをたづねたれども遇ず 呼たれども答應なかりき

7 邑をまはりありく夜巡者等われを見てうちて傷つけ 石垣をまもる者らはわが上衣をはぎとれり

8 ヱルサレムの女子等よ 我なんぢらにかたく請ふ もしわが愛する者にあはば汝ら何とこれにつぐべきや 我愛によりて疾わづらふと告よ

9 なんぢの愛する者は別の人の愛する者に何の勝れるところありや 婦女の中のいと美はしき者よ なんぢが愛する者は別の人の愛する者に何の勝れるところありて斯われらに固く請ふや

10 わが愛する者は白くかつ紅にして萬人の上に越ゆ

15 その脛は蝋石の柱を黄金の臺にてたてたるがごとく その相貌はレバノンのごとく その優れたるさまは香柏のごとし

16 その口ははなはだ甘く誠に彼には一つだにうつくしからぬ所なし ヱルサレムの女子等よ これぞわが愛する者 これぞわが伴侶なる
