詩篇 91
1 至上者のもとなる隠れたるところにすまふその人は全能者の蔭にやどらん
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 われヱホバのことを宣て ヱホバはわが避所わが城わがよりたのむ神なりといはん
I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
3 そは神なんぢを狩人のわなと毒をながす疫癘よりたすけいだしたまふべければなり
For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
4 かれその翮をもてなんぢを庇ひたまはん なんぢその翼の下にかくれん その眞實は盾なり干なり
He will cover thee with his pinions, and under his wings shall thou take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler.
5 夜はおどろくべきことあり晝はとびきたる矢あり
Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day,
6 幽暗にはあゆむ疫癘あり日午にはそこなふ勵しき疾あり されどなんぢ畏るることあらじ
for the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 千人はなんぢの左にたふれ萬人はなんぢの右にたふる されどその災害はなんぢに近づくことなからん
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come near thee.
8 なんぢの眼はただこの事をみるのみ なんぢ惡者のむくいを見ん
Thou shall only behold with thine eyes, and see the reward of the wicked.
9 なんぢ曩にいへりヱホバはわが避所なりと なんぢ至上者をその住居となしたれば
For thou, O Jehovah, are my refuge! Thou have made the Most High thy habitation.
10 災害なんぢにいたらず苦難なんぢの幕屋に近づかじ
There shall no evil befall thee, nor shall any plague come near thy tent,
11 そは至上者なんぢのためにその使者輩におほせて 汝があゆむもろもろの道になんぢを守らせ給へばなり
for he will give his agents charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 彼ら手にてなんぢの足の石にふれざらんために汝をささへん
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 なんぢは獅と蝮とをふみ壯獅と蛇とを足の下にふみにじらん
Thou shall tread upon the lion and adder. The young lion and the serpent thou shall trample under foot.
14 彼その愛をわれにそそげるがゆゑに我これを助けん かれわが名をしるがゆゑに我これを高處におかん
Because he has set his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high because he has known my name.
15 かれ我をよはば我こたへん 我その苦難のときに偕にをりて之をたすけ之をあがめん
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 われ長寿をもてかれを足はしめ且わが救をしめさん
I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.
