詩篇 82

1 かみは神のつどひの中にたちたまふ 神はもろもろの神のなかに審判をなしたまふ

[A Psalm by Asaph.] God presides in the assembly of God. He judges among the gods.

2 なんぢらは正からざる審判をなし あしきものの身をかたよりみて幾何時をへんとするや (セラ)

"How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?" (Selah)

3 よわきものと孤兒とのためにさばき苦しむものと乏しきものとのために公平をほどこせ

"Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

4 弱きものと貧しきものとをすくひ彼等をあしきものの手よりたすけいだせ

Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked."

5 かれらは知ることなく悟ることなくして暗中をゆきめぐりぬ 地のもろもろの基はうごきたり

They do not know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 我いへらく なんぢらは神なりなんぢらはみな至上者の子なりと

I said, "You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

7 然どなんぢらは人のごとくに死もろもろの侯のなかの一人のごとく仆れん

Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers."

8 神よおきて全地をさばきたまへ 汝もろもろの國を嗣たまふべければなり

Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
