詩篇 72
1 神よねがはくは汝のもろもろの審判を王にあたへ なんぢの義をわうの子にあたへたまへ
For Solomon. O God, give your judgement to the king, and your righteousness to the king's son;
2 かれは義をもてなんぢの民をさばき公平をもて苦しむものを鞫かん
[that he may] judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgement.
3 義によりて山と岡とは民に平康をあたふべし
Let the mountains and the hills raise peace to your people:
4 かれは民のくるしむ者のために審判をなし乏しきものの子輩をすくひ虐ぐるものを壞きたまはん
he shall judge the poor of the people in righteousness, and save the children of the needy; and shall bring low the false accuser.
5 かれらは日と月とのあらんかぎり世々おしなべて汝をおそるべし
And he shall continue as long as the sun, and before the moon for ever.
6 かれは苅とれる牧にふる雨のごとく地をうるほす白雨のごとくのぞまん
He shall come down as rain upon a fleece; and as drops falling upon the earth.
7 かれの世にただしき者はさかえ平和は月のうするまで豊かならん
In his days shall righteousness spring up; and abundance of peace till the moon be removed.
8 またその政治は海より海にいたり河より地のはてにおよぶべし
And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.
9 野にをる者はそのまへに屈み そり仇は塵をなめん
The Ethiopians shall fall down before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 タルシシおよび島々の王たちは貢ををさめ シバとセバの王たちは禮物をささげん
The kings of Tharsis, and the isles, shall bring presents: the kings of the Arabians and Saba shall offer gifts.
11 もろもろの王はそのまへに俯伏し もろもろの國はかれにつかへん
And all kings shall worship him; all the Gentiles shall serve him.
12 かれは乏しき者をその叫ぶときにすくひ 助けなき苦しむ者をたすけ
For he has delivered the poor from the oppressor; and the needy who had no helper.
13 弱きものと乏しき者とをあはれみ乏しきものの霊魂をすくひ
He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall deliver the souls of the needy.
14 かれらのたましひを暴虐と強暴とよりあがなひたまふ その血はみまへに貴かるべし
He shall redeem their souls from usury and injustice: and their name [shall be] precious before him.
15 かれらは存ふべし 人はシバの黄金をささげてかれのために恒にいのり終日かれをいははん
And he shall live, and there shall be given him of the gold of Arabia: and [men] shall pray for him continually; [and] all the day shall they praise him.
16 國のうち五穀ゆたかにしてその實はレバノンのごとく山のいただきにそよぎ 邑の人々は地の草のごとく榮ゆべし
There shall be an establishment on the earth on the tops of the mountains: the fruit thereof shall be exalted above Libanus, and they of the city shall flourish as grass of the earth.
17 かれの名はつねにたえず かれの名は日の久しきごとくに絶ることなし 人はかれによりて福祉をえん もろもろの國はかれをさいはひなる者ととなへん
Let his name be blessed for ever: his name shall endure longer than the sun: and all the tribes of the earth shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
18 ただイスラエルの神のみ奇しき事跡をなしたまへり 神ヱホバはほむべきかな
Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, who alone does wonders.
19 その榮光の名はよよにほむべきかな全地はその榮光にて滿べしアーメン アーメン
And blessed is his glorious name for ever, even for ever and ever: and all the earth shall be filled with his glory. So be it, so be it.
20 ヱッサイの子ダビデの祈はをはりぬ
