詩篇 21

1 ヱホバよ王はなんぢの力によりてたのしみ汝のすくひによりて奈何におほいなる歓喜をなさん

To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, Jehovah; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice.

2 なんぢ彼がこころの願望をゆるし そのくちびるの求をいなみ給はざりき (セラ)

Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. (Selah)

3 そはよきたまものの惠をもてかれを迎へ まじりなきこがねの冕弁をもてかれの首にいただかせ給ひたり

For thou hast met him with the blessings of goodness; thou hast set a crown of pure gold on his head.

4 かれ生命をもとめしに汝これをあたへてその齢の日を世々かぎりなからしめ給へり

He asked life of thee; thou gavest [it] him, length of days for ever and ever.

5 なんぢの救によりてその榮光おほいなり なんぢは尊貴と稜威とをかれに衣せたまふ

His glory is great through thy salvation; majesty and splendour hast thou laid upon him.

6 そは之をとこしへに福ひなるものとなし聖顔のまへの歓喜をもて樂しませたまへばなり

For thou hast made him to be blessings for ever; thou hast filled him with joy by thy countenance.

7 王はヱホバに依賴み いとたかき者のいつくしみを蒙るがゆゑに動かさるることなからん

For the king confideth in Jehovah: and through the loving-kindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.

8 なんぢの手はそのもろもろの仇をたづねいだし 汝のみぎの手はおのれを憎むものを探ねいだすべし

Thy hand shall find out all thine enemies; thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

9 なんぢ怒るときは彼等をもゆる爐のごとくにせんヱホバはげしき怒によりてかれらを呑たまはん 火はかれらを食つくさん

Thou shalt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thy presence; Jehovah shall swallow them up in his anger, and the fire shall devour them:

10 汝かれらの裔を地よりほろぼし かれらの種を人の子のなかよりほろぼさん

Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

11 かれらは汝にむかひて惡事をくはだて遂がたき謀略をおもひまはせばなり

For they intended evil against thee; they imagined a mischievous device, which they could not execute.

12 汝かれらをして背をむけしめ その面にむかひて弓絃をひかん

For thou wilt make them turn their back; thou wilt make ready thy bowstring against their face.

13 ヱホバよ能力をあらはしてみづからを高くしたまへ 我儕はなんぢの稜威をうたひ且ほめたたへん

Be thou exalted, Jehovah, in thine own strength: we will sing and celebrate thy power.
