詩篇 20

1 ねがはくはヱホバなやみの日になんぢにこたヘヤユブのかみの名なんぢを高にあげ

To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. Yahweh answer thee, in the day of distress, The Name of the God of Jacob give thee safety;

2 聖所より援助をなんぢにおくりシオンより能力をなんぢにあたへ

Send thy help out of the sanctuary, and, out of Zion, sustain thee;

3 汝のもろもろの献物をみこころにとめ なんぢの燔祭をうけたまはんことを (セラ)

Remember every present of thine, and, thine ascending-sacrifice, esteem. (Selah)

4 ねがはくはなんちがこころの願望をゆるし なんぢの謀略をことごとく遂しめたまはんことを

Give thee according to thy heart, and, all thy purposes, fulfil.

5 我儕なんぢの救によりて歓びうたひ われらの神の名によりて旗をたてん ねがはくはヱホバ汝のもろもろの求をとげしめたまはんことを

We will shout aloud in thy salvation, and, in the Name of our God, shall we become great, Yahweh fulfil all thy petitions.

6 われ今ヱホバその受膏者をすくひたまふを知る ヱホバそのきよき天より右手なるすくひの力にてかれに應へたまはん

Now, do I know that Yahweh, hath saved, his Anointed One, —He answereth him out of his holy heavens, by the mighty saving deeds of his own right hand.

7 あるひは車をたのみあるひは馬をたのみとする者あり されどわれらはわが神ヱホバの名をとなへん

These, by chariots, and, those, by horses, but, we, by the Name of Yahweh our God, will prevail.

8 かれらは屈みまた仆るわれらは起てかたくたてり

They, have bowed down and fallen, but, we, have arisen, and stand upright.

9 ヱホバよ王をすくひたまへ われらがよぶとき應へたまへ

Yahweh, hath saved the king. Answer us, then, on the day when we call.
