詩篇 125

1 ヱホバに依賴むものはシオンの山のうごかさるることなくして永遠にあるがごとし

Those who trust in Jehovah are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

2 ヱルサレムを山のかこめるごとくヱホバも今よりとこしへにその民をかこみたまはん

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so Jehovah is round about his people from this time forth and for evermore.

3 惡の杖はただしきものの所領にとどまることなかるべし斯てただしきものはその手を不義にのぶることあらじ

For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous, that the righteous not put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 ヱホバよねがはくは善人とこころ直きものとに福祉をほどこしたまへ

Do good, O Jehovah, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts.

5 されどヱホバは轉へりておのが曲れる道にいるものを惡きわざをなすものとともに去しめたまはん 平安はイスラエルのうへにあれ

But as for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.
