詩篇 123

1 天にいますものよ我なんぢにむかひて目をあぐ

Unto you lift I up mine eyes, O you that dwell in the heavens.

2 みよ僕その主の手に目をそそぎ 婢女その主母の手に目をそそぐがごとく われらはわが神ヱホバに目をそそぎて そのわれを憐みたまはんことをまつ

Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

3 ねがはくはわれらを憐みたまヘ ヱホバよわれらを憐みたまへ そはわれらに軽侮はみちあふれぬ

Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4 おもひわづらひなきものの凌辱と たかぶるものの軽侮とはわれらの霊魂にみちあふれぬ

Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
