詩篇 10
1 ああヱホバよ何ぞはるかに立たまふや なんぞ患難のときに匿れたまふや
Wherefore, O Yahweh, shouldst thou stand afar off? [Wherefore] hide thyself, in times of destitution?
2 あしき人はたかぶりて苦しむものを甚だしくせむ かれらをそのくはだての謀略にとらはれしめたまへ
In the pride of the lawless one, he hotly pursueth the poor, let them be caught in the plots which they have devised!
3 あしきひとは己がこころの欲望をほこり貪るものを祝してヱホバをかろしむ
For the lawless one hath boasted over the longing of his soul, and, the robber, hath blasphemed Yahweh.
4 あしき人はほこりかにいふ 神はさぐりもとむることをせざるなりと 凡てそのおもひに神なしとせり
The lawless one, in the loftiness of his countenance, will not enquire, God is not in any of his plots:
5 かれの途はつねに堅く なんぢの審判はその眼よりはなれてたかし 彼はそのもろもろの敵をくちさきらにて吹く
His ways are firm at all times, On high, are thy righteous regulations, out of his sight, As for all his adversaries, he puffeth at them:
6 かくて己がこころの中にいふ 我うごかさるることなく世々われに禍害なかるべしと
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be shaken, —From generation to generation, shall I be in no misfortune.
7 その口にはのろひと虚偽としへたげとみち その舌のしたには殘害とよこしまとあり
With cursing, his mouth is full, and with deceptions and oppression, Under his tongue, are trouble and mischief:
8 かれは村里のかくれたる處にをり隠やかなるところにて罪なきものをころす その眼はひそかに倚仗なきものをうかがひ
He abideth in the lurking-place of villages, In the hiding-places, he murdereth the innocent, —His eyes, for the unfortunate, are on the watch:
9 窟にをる獅のごとく潜みまち苦しむものをとらへんために伏ねらひ 貧しきものをその網にひきいれてとらふ
He lieth in wait in a hiding-place, like a lion in his covert, He lieth in wait to catch the humbled, He catcheth the humbled, by drawing him into his net:
10 また身をかがめて蹲まるその強勁によりて依仗なきものは仆る
He croucheth, he lieth down, then falleth he with his strong claws upon the unfortunate.
11 かれ心のうちにいふ 神はわすれたり神はその面をかくせり神はみることなかるべしと
He hath said in his heart, GOD hath forgotten, —He hath veiled his face, Oh he hath never seen!
12 ヱホバよ起たまへ 神よ手をあげたまへ 苦しむものを忘れたまふなかれ
Arise! Yahweh! O GOD! raise thy hand, —Do not forget the patient!
13 いかなれば惡きもの神をいやしめて心中になんぢ探求むることをせじといふや
Wherefore hath the lawless one blasphemed God? He hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it]!
14 なんぢは鍳たまへりその殘害と怨恨とを見てこれに手をくだしたまへり 倚仗なきものは身をなんぢに委ぬ なんぢは昔しより孤子をたすけたまふ者なり
Thou hast seen! For, thou, mischief and misery, dost discern, to requite with thine own hand, Unto thee, doth, the unfortunate one, give himself up, To the fatherless, thou thyself, hast become a helper.
15 ねがはくは惡きものの臂ををりたまへあしきものの惡事を一つだにのこらぬまでに探究したまへ
Shatter thou the arm of the lawless one, And, as for the wrongful, wilt thou not enquire for his lawlessness—wilt thou not find [it]?
16 ヱホバはいやとほながに王なり もろもろの國民はほろびて神の國より跡をたちたり
Yahweh, is king, to times age-abiding and beyond, The nations have perished out of his land.
17 ヱホバよ汝はくるしむものの懇求をききたまへり その心をかたくしたまはん なんぢは耳をかたぶけてきき
The longing of the patient, thou hast heard, O Yahweh, Thou wilt establish their heart, Thou wilt make attentive thine ear:
18 孤子と虐げらる者とのために審判をなし地につける人にふたたび恐嚇をもちひざらしめ給はん
To vindicate the fatherless and the crushed, A man of the earth, shall, no further, cause terror!
