箴言 知恵の泉 9
1 智慧はその家を建て その七の柱を砍成し
Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
2 その畜を宰り その酒を混和せ その筵をそなへ
She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
3 その婢女をつかはして邑の高處に呼はりいはしむ
She hath sent forth her maidens, she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
4 拙者よここに來れと また智慧なき者にいふ
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,
5 汝等きたりて我が糧を食ひ わがまぜあはせたる酒をのみ
Come, eat ye of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
6 拙劣をすてて生命をえ 聰明のみちを行め
Leave off, ye simple ones, and live; and walk in the way of understanding.
7 嘲笑者をいましむる者は恥を己にえ 惡人を責むる者は疵を己にえん
He that correcteth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that reproveth a wicked man [getteth] himself a blot.
8 嘲笑者を責むることなかれ 恐くは彼なんぢを惡まん 智慧ある者をせめよ 彼なんぢを愛せん
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: reprove a wise man, and he will love thee.
9 智慧ある者に授けよ 彼はますます智慧をえん 義者を敎へよ 彼は知識に進まん
Give [instruction] to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.
10 ヱホバを畏るることは智慧の根本なり 聖者を知るは聰明なり
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
11 我により汝の日は多くせられ 汝のいのちの年は増べし
For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
12 汝もし智慧あらば自己のために智慧あるなり 汝もし嘲らば汝ひとり之を負ん
If thou art wise, thou art wise for thyself: and if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
13 愚なる婦は嘩しく且つたなくして何事をも知らず
The foolish woman is clamorous; [she is] simple, and knoweth nothing.
14 その家の門に坐し邑のたかき處にある座にすわり
And she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
15 道をますぐに過る往來の人を招きていふ
To call to them that pass by, who go right on their ways,
16 拙者よここに來れと また智慧なき人にむかひては之にいふ
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,
17 竊みたる水は甘く密かに食ふ糧は美味ありと
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread [eaten] in secret is pleasant.
