ピリピ人への手紙 3
1 終に言はん、我が兄弟よ、なんぢら主に在りて喜べ。なんぢらに同じことを書きおくるは、我に煩はしきことなく、汝 等には安然なり。
As to the rest, my brothers, rejoice in the LORD; indeed, [it] is not tiresome to me to write to you the same things, and for you [is] sure.
2 なんぢら犬に心せよ、惡しき勞動人に心せよ、肉の割禮ある者に心せよ。
Look out for the dogs! Look out for the evil-workers! Look out for the mutilation!
3 神の御靈によりて禮拜をなし、キリスト・イエスによりて誇り、肉を恃まぬ我らは眞の割禮ある者なり。
For we are the circumcision, who are serving God by the Spirit, and glorying in Christ Jesus, and having no trust in flesh,
4 されど我は肉にも恃むことを得るなり。もし他の人、肉に恃むところありと思はば、我は更に恃む所あり。
though I also have [cause of] trust in flesh. If any other one thinks to have trust in flesh, I more:
5 我は八日めに割禮を受けたる者にして、イスラエルの血統、ベニヤミンの族、ヘブル人より出でたるヘブル人なり。律法に就きてはパリサイ人、
circumcision on the eighth day! Of the race of Israel! Of the tribe of Benjamin! A Hebrew of Hebrews! According to law—a Pharisee!
6 熱心につきては教會を迫害したるもの、律法によれる義に就きては責むべき所なかりし者なり。
According to zeal—persecuting the Assembly! According to righteousness that is in law—becoming blameless!
7 されど曩に我が益たりし事はキリストのために損と思ふに至れり。
But what things were gains to me, these I have counted loss, because of the Christ;
8 然り、我はわが主キリスト・イエスを知ることの優れたるために、凡ての物を損なりと思ひ、彼のために既に凡ての物を損せしが、之を塵芥のごとく思ふ。
yes, indeed, and I count all things to be loss, because of the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, because of whom I suffered loss of all things, and count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ, and be found in Him,
9 これキリストを獲、かつ律法による己が義ならで、唯キリストを信ずる信仰による義、すなはち信仰に基きて神より賜はる義を保ち、キリストに在るを認められ、
not having my righteousness, which [is] of law, but that which [is] through faith from Christ—the righteousness that is of God by faith,
10 キリストとその復活の力とを知り、又その死に效ひて彼の苦難にあづかり、
to know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
11 如何にもして死人の中より甦へることを得んが爲なり。
if anyhow I may attain to the resurrection of the dead.
12 われ既に取れり、既に全うせられたりと言ふにあらず、唯これを捉へんとて追ひ求む。キリストは之を得させんとて我を捉へたまへり。
Not that I already obtained, or have already been perfected, but I pursue, if I also may lay hold of that for which I was also laid hold of by Christ Jesus;
13 兄弟よ、われは既に捉へたりと思はず、唯この一事を務む、即ち後のものを忘れ、前のものに向ひて勵み、
brothers, I do not reckon myself to have laid hold [of it], but one thing [I do]—indeed forgetting the things behind, and stretching forth to the things before—
14 標準を指して進み、神のキリスト・イエスに由りて上に召したまふ召にかかはる褒美を得んとて之を追ひ求む。
I pursue to the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 されば我等のうち成人したる者は、みな斯くのごとき思を懷くべし、汝 等もし何事にても異なる思を懷き居らば、神これをも示し給はん。
As many, therefore, as [are] perfect—let us think this, and if [in] anything you think otherwise, this also will God reveal to you,
16 ただ我等はその至れる所に隨ひて歩むべし。
but to what we have attained—walk by the same rule, think the same thing;
17 兄弟よ、なんぢら諸共に我に效ふものとなれ、且なんぢらの模範となる我らに循ひて歩むものを視よ。
together become my followers, brothers, and observe those thus walking, according as you have us—a pattern;
18 そは我しばしば汝らに告げ、今また涙を流して告ぐる如く、キリストの十字架に敵して歩む者おほければなり。
for many walk of whom I told you [about] many times—and now also weeping tell—[they are] the enemies of the Cross of the Christ,
19 彼らの終は滅亡なり。おのが腹を神となし、己が恥を光榮となし、ただ地の事のみを念ふ。
whose end [is] destruction, whose god [is] the belly, and whose glory [is] in their shame, who are minding the things on earth.
20 されど我らの國籍は天に在り、我らは主イエス・キリストの救主として其の處より來りたまふを待つ。
For our citizenship is in the heavens, from where we also await a Savior—the Lord Jesus Christ—
21 彼は萬物を己に服はせ得る能力によりて、我らの卑しき状の體を化へて、己が榮光の體に象らせ給はん。
who will transform the body of our humiliation to its becoming conformed to the body of His glory, according to the working of His power, even to subject all things to Himself.
