民数記 8
1 ヱホバまたモーセに告て言たまはく
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 アロンに告て之に言へ汝燈火を燃す時は七の燈盞をして均く燈臺の前を照さしむべし
Speak to Aaron, and say to him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
3 アロンすなはち然なし燈火を燈臺の前の方にむけて燃せりヱホバのモーセに命じたまへる如し
And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps of it over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
4 燈臺の作法は是のごとし是は槌にて椎て作れる者即ちその臺座よりその花まで槌にて椎て作れる者なりモーセ、ヱホバの己に示したまへる式樣にてらしてこの燈臺を作れり
And this work of the candlestick [was of] beaten gold, to its shaft, to the flowers of it, [was] beaten work: according to the pattern which the LORD had showed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
5 ヱホバ、モーセに告て言たまはく
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
6 レビ人をイスラエルの子孫の中より取てこれを潔めよ
Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7 汝かく彼らに爲て之を潔むべし即ち罪を潔むる水を彼等に灑ぎかけ彼等にその身をことごとく剃しめその衣服を洗はしめて之を潔め
And thus shalt thou do to them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and [so] make themselves clean.
8 而して彼等に若き牡牛一匹と麥粉に油を和たる者を取しめよ汝また別に若き牡牛を罪祭のために取べし
Then let them take a young bullock with his meat-offering, [even] fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin-offering.
9 斯て汝レビ人を集會の幕屋の前に携きたりてイスラエルの子孫の全會を集め
And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt convene the whole assembly of the children of Israel:
10 而してレビ人をヱホバの前に進ましめてイスラエルの子孫に其手をレビ人の上に按しむべし
And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
11 而してイスラエルの子孫の爲にレビ人を搖祭となしてヱホバの前に献ぐべし是彼らをしてヱホバの勤務を爲しめんためなり
And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD [for] an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.
12 斯て汝レビ人にその手をかの牛の頭に按しめその一を燔祭となしてヱホバに献げ之をもてレビ人のために贖罪をなすべし
And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one [for] a sin-offering, and the other [for] a burnt-offering, to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
13 即ちレビ人をアロンとその子等の前に立しめ之を搖祭となしてヱホバに献ぐべし
And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them [for] an offering to the LORD.
14 汝レビ人をイスラエルの子孫の中より區分ちレビ人をしてわが所屬とならしむべし
Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.
15 斯て後レビ人は入て集會の幕屋の役事をなすべし汝かれらを潔め之を献げて搖祭となすべし
And after that shall the Levites go in to perform the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them [for] an offering.
16 彼らはイスラエルの子孫の中よりして我に献げらるる者なりイスラエルの子孫の中なる始に生れたる者すなはちその首出子の代に我かれらを取なり
For they [are] wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, [even instead of] the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.
17 イスラエルの子孫の中の首出子は人たるも獣たるも凡てわが所屬となるべし其は我エジプトの地において首出子を盡く撃ころしたる時に彼等を聖者となして我に屬せしめたればなり
For all the first born of the children of Israel [are] mine, [both] man and beast: on the day that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
18 是をもて我イスラエルの子孫の中の一切の首出子の代にレビ人を取なり
And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the children of Israel.
19 我イスラエルの子孫の中よりレビ人を取て之をアロンとその子等に與へ之をして集合の幕屋においてイスラエルの子孫に代てその役事を爲しめまたイスラエルの子孫のために贖罪をなさしめん是イスラエルの子孫が聖所に近く時にイスラエルの子孫の中に災害の起ざらんためなり
And I have given the Levites [as] a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there may be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh to the sanctuary.
20 モーセとアロンおよびイスラエルの子孫の全會衆ヱホバがレビ人の事につきてモーセに命じたまへる所に悉くしたがひてレビ人におこなへり即ちイスラエルの子孫かくの如く彼等に行ひたり
And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according to all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel to them.
21 レビ人是に於てその身を潔め衣服を洗ひたればアロンかれらをヱホバの前に献て搖祭となしアロンまた彼らのために贖罪をなして之を潔めたり
And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them [as] an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
22 斯て後レビ人は集會の幕屋に入てアロンとその子等の前にてその役事を爲り彼等はレビ人の事につきてヱホバのモーセに命じたまへる所に循ひて斯のごとく之を行ひたり
And after that went the Levites in to perform their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they to them.
23 ヱホバまたモーセに告て言たまはく
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
24 レビ人は斯なすべし即ち二十五歳以上の者は軍団に入て集會の幕屋の役事をなすべし
This [is it] that [belongeth] to the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
25 然ど五十歳よりは軍団を退きて休み重て役事をなすべからず
And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service [of it], and shall serve no more:
26 唯集會の幕屋においてその兄弟等をつかさどり且伺ひ守ることを勤むべし役事を爲すべからず汝レビ人をしてその職務をなさしむるには斯のごとくなすべし
But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do to the Levites concerning their charge.
