マタイの福音書 9
1 イエス舟にのり、渡りて己が町にきたり給ふ。
And he entered into a boat, and crossed over, and came into his own city.
2 視よ、中風にて床に臥しをる者を、人々みもとに連れ來れり。イエス彼らの信仰を見て、中風の者に言ひたまふ『子よ、心 安かれ、汝の罪ゆるされたり』
And look, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. And Yeshua, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, cheer up. Your sins are forgiven."
3 視よ、或 學者ら心の中にいふ『この人は神を瀆すなり』
And look, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man blasphemes."
4 イエスその思を知りて言ひ給ふ『何ゆゑ心に惡しき事をおもふか。
But Yeshua, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?
5 汝の罪ゆるされたりと言ふと、起きて歩めと言ふと、孰か易き。
For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven;' or to say, 'Get up, and walk?'
6 人の子 地にて罪を赦す權威あることを汝らに知らせん爲に』――ここに中風の者に言ひ給ふ――『起きよ、床をとりて汝の家にかへれ』
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..." (then he said to the paralytic), "Get up, and take up your mat, and go up to your house."
7 彼おきてその家にかへる。
And he arose and departed to his house.
8 群衆これを見ておそれ、かかる能力を人にあたへ給へる神を崇めたり。
Now when the crowds saw it, they were afraid and glorified God who had given such authority to men.
9 イエス此處より進みて、マタイといふ人の收税所に坐しをるを見て『我に從へ』と言ひ給へば、立ちて從へり。
And as Yeshua passed by from there, he saw a man called Mattai sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, "Follow me." And he got up and followed him.
10 家にて食事の席につき居給ふとき、視よ、多くの取税人・罪人ら來りて、イエス及び弟子たちと共に列る。
And it happened as he sat in the house, look, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Yeshua and his disciples.
11 パリサイ人これを見て弟子たちに言ふ『なに故なんぢらの師は、取税人・罪人らと共に食するか』
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
12 之を聞きて、言ひたまふ『健かなる者は醫者を要せず、ただ、病める者これを要す。
When he heard it, he said to them, "Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
13 なんぢら往きて學べ「われ憐憫を好みて、犧牲を好まず」とは如何なる意ぞ。我は正しき者を招かんとにあらで、罪人を招かんとて來れり』
But you go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,' for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."
14 ここにヨハネの弟子たち御許にきたりて言ふ『われらとパリサイ人は斷食するに、何 故なんぢの弟子たちは斷食せぬか』
Then Yukhanan's disciples came to him, saying, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?"
15 イエス言ひたまふ『新郎の友だち、新郎と偕にをる間は、悲しむことを得んや。されど新郎をとらるる日きたらん、その時には斷食せん。
And Yeshua said to them, "Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
16 誰も新しき布の裂を舊き衣につぐことは爲じ、補ひたる裂は、その衣をやぶりて、破綻さらに甚だしかるべし。
And no one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch would tear away from the garment, and a worse hole is made.
17 また新しき葡萄酒をふるき革嚢に入るることは爲じ。もし然せば、嚢はりさけ酒ほどばしり出でて、嚢もまた廢らん。新しき葡萄酒は新しき革嚢にいれ、かくて兩ながら保つなり』
Neither do people put new wine into old wineskins, or else the skins would burst, and the wine pours out, and the skins ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved."
18 イエス此 等のことを語りゐ給ふとき、視よ、一人の司きたり、拜して言ふ『わが娘いま死にたり。されど來りて御手を之におき給はば活きん』
While he told these things to them, look, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live."
19 イエス起ちて彼に伴ひ給ふに、弟子たちも從ふ。
And Yeshua got up and followed him, as did his disciples.
20 視よ、十 二年 血漏を患ひゐたる女、イエスの後にきたりて、御衣の總にさはる。
And look, a woman who had an issue of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment;
21 それは、御衣にだに觸らば救はれんと心の中にいへるなり。
for she said within herself, "If I just touch his garment, I will be made well."
22 イエスふりかへり、女を見て言ひたまふ『娘よ、心 安かれ、汝の信仰なんぢを救へり』女この時より救はれたり。
But Yeshua, turning around and seeing her, said, "Daughter, cheer up. Your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour.
23 かくてイエス司の家にいたり、笛ふく者と騷ぐ群衆とを見て言ひたまふ、
And when Yeshua came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players, and the crowd in noisy disorder,
24 『退け、少女は死にたるにあらず、寐ねたるなり』人々イエスを嘲笑ふ。
he said, "Go away, for the girl is not dead, but asleep." And they laughed at him.
25 群衆の出されし後、いりてその手をとり給へば、少女おきたり。
But when the crowd was put out, he entered in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
26 この聲聞あまねく其の地に弘りぬ。
And the report of this went out into all that land.
27 イエス此處より進みたまふ時、ふたりの盲人さけびて『ダビデの子よ、我らを憫みたまへ』と言ひつつ從ふ。
And as Yeshua passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out and saying, "Have mercy on us, son of Dawid."
28 イエス家にいたり給ひしに、盲人ども御許に來りたれば、之に言ひたまふ『我この事をなし得と信ずるか』彼 等いふ『主よ、然り』
And when he had come into the house, the blind men came to him, and Yeshua said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They told him, "Yes, Lord."
29 爰にイエスかれらの目に觸りて言ひたまふ『なんぢらの信仰のごとく汝らに成れ』
Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith be it done to you."
30 乃ち彼らの目あきたり。イエス嚴しく戒めて言ひたまふ『愼みて誰にも知らすな』
And their eyes were opened. And Yeshua strictly commanded them, saying, "See that no one knows about this."
31 されど彼ら出でて、あまねくその地にイエスの事をいひ弘めたり。
But they went out and spread abroad his fame in all that land.
32 盲人どもの出づるとき、視よ、人々、惡鬼に憑かれたる唖者を御許につれきたる。
And as they went out, look, a mute man who was demon possessed was brought to him.
33 惡鬼おひ出されて唖者ものいひたれば、群衆あやしみて言ふ『かかる事は未だイスラエルの中に顯れざりき』
And when the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds were amazed, saying, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israyel."
34 然るにパリサイ人いふ『かれは惡鬼の首によりて惡鬼を逐ひ出すなり』
But the Pharisees said, "By the prince of the demons, he casts out demons."
35 イエスあまねく町と村とを巡り、その會堂にて教へ、御國の福音を宣べつたへ、もろもろの病、もろもろの疾患をいやし給ふ。
And Yeshua went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.
36 また群衆を見て、その牧ふ者なき羊のごとく惱み、且たふるるを甚く憫み、
But when he saw the crowds, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.
37 遂に弟子たちに言ひたまふ『收穫はおほく勞動人はすくなし。
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
38 この故に收穫の主に、勞動人をその收穫場に遣し給はんことを求めよ』
Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest."
