マタイの福音書 23
1 ここにイエス群衆と弟子たちとに語りて言ひ給ふ、
Then Yeshua [Salvation] spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples,
2 『學者とパリサイ人とはモーセの座を占む。
saying, “The Torah-Teachers and the Pharisees [Separated] sat on Moses [Drawn out]’ seat.
3 されば凡てその言ふ所は守りて行へ、されどその所作には效ふな、彼らは言ふのみにて行はぬなり。
All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.
4 また重き荷を括りて人の肩にのせ、己は指にて之を動かさんともせず。
For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.
5 凡てその所作は人に見られん爲にするなり。即ちその經札を幅ひろくし、衣の總を大くし、
But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad, enlarge the tzitziyot ·tassles· of their garments,
6 饗宴の上席、會堂の上座、
and phileo ·affectionately love, have high regard for· the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
7 市場にての敬禮、また人にラビと呼ばるることを好む。
the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi ·Teacher·' by men.
8 されど汝らはラビの稱を受くな、汝らの師は一人にして、汝 等はみな兄弟なり。
But don’t you be called ‘Rabbi ·Teacher·,’ for one is your Rabbi ·Teacher·, the Messiah [Anointed one], and all of you are brothers.
9 地にある者を父と呼ぶな、汝らの父は一人、すなはち天に在す者なり。
Call no man on the earth 'Avikah ·your Father·, for one is 'Avikah ·your Father·, he who is in heaven.
10 また導師の稱を受くな、汝らの導師はひとり、即ちキリストなり。
Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Messiah [Anointed one].
11 汝 等のうち大なる者は、汝らの役者とならん。
But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.
12 凡そおのれを高うする者は卑うせられ、己を卑うする者は高うせらるるなり。
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
13 禍害なるかな、僞善なる學者、パリサイ人よ、なんぢらは人の前に天國を閉して自ら入らず、入らんとする人の入るをも許さぬなり。
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

“But woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven (God) against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one convert; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead) as yourselves. (Geenna g1067)
16 禍害なるかな、盲目なる手引よ、なんぢらは言ふ「人もし宮を指して誓はば事なし、宮の黄金を指して誓はば果さざるべからず」と。
“Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’
17 愚にして盲目なる者よ、黄金と黄金を聖ならしむる宮とは孰か貴き。
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold?
18 なんぢら又いふ「人もし祭壇を指して誓はば事なし、其の上の供物を指して誓はば果さざるべからず」と。
‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated?’
19 盲目なる者よ、供物と供物を聖ならしむる祭壇とは孰か貴き。
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?
20 されば祭壇を指して誓ふ者は、祭壇とその上の凡ての物とを指して誓ふなり。
He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it, and by everything on it.
21 宮を指して誓ふ者は、宮とその内に住みたまふ者とを指して誓ふなり。
He who swears by the temple, swears by it, and by him who was living in it.
22 また天を指して誓ふ者は、神の御座とその上に坐したまふ者とを指して誓ふなり。
He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him who sits on it.
23 禍害なるかな、僞善なる學者、パリサイ人よ、汝らは薄荷・蒔蘿・クミンの十分の一を納めて、律法の中にて尤も重き公平と憐憫と忠信とを等閑にす。されど之は行ふべきものなり、而して、彼もまた等閑にすべきものならず。
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the Torah ·Teaching·: justice, eleos ·merciful compassion in action·, and faithfulness. These are the things you should have attended to, without neglecting the others!
24 盲目なる手引よ、汝らは蚋を漉し出して駱駝を呑むなり。
You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!
25 禍害なるかな、僞善なる學者、パリサイ人よ、汝らは酒杯と皿との外を潔くす、されど内は貪慾と放縱とにて滿つるなり。
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness.
26 盲目なるパリサイ人よ、汝まづ酒杯の内を潔めよ、さらば外も潔くなるべし。
You blind Pharisee [Separated], first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that its outside may become clean also.
27 禍害なるかな、僞善なる學者、パリサイ人よ、汝らは白く塗りたる墓に似たり、外は美しく見ゆれども、内は死人の骨とさまざまの穢とにて滿つ。
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 かくのごとく汝らも外は人に正しく見ゆれども、内は僞善と不法とにて滿つるなり。
Even so you also outwardly appear upright to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and illegally ·to be without Torah ·Teaching· (ignorant or intentional violation of law)·.
29 禍害なるかな、僞善なる學者、パリサイ人よ、汝らは預言者の墓をたて、義人の碑を飾りて言ふ、
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and decorate the tombs of the upright,
30 「我らもし先祖の時にありしならば、預言者の血を流すことに與せざりしものを」と。
and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we wouldn’t have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’
31 かく汝らは預言者を殺しし者の子たるを自ら證す。
Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.
32 なんぢら己が先祖の桝目を充せ。
Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.
You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead)? (Geenna g1067)
34 この故に視よ、我なんぢらに預言者・智者・學者らを遣さんに、其の中の或 者を殺し、十字架につけ、或 者を汝らの會堂にて鞭うち、町より町に逐ひ苦しめん。
Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and Torah-Teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;
35 之によりて義人アベルの血より、聖所と祭壇との間にて汝らが殺ししバラキヤの子ザカリヤの血に至るまで、地上にて流したる正しき血は、皆なんぢらに報い來らん。
that on you may come all the upright blood shed on the earth, from the blood of upright Abel [Vanity, Mourning] to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.
36 まことに汝らに告ぐ、これらの事はみな今の代に報い來るべし。
Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.
37 ああエルサレム、エルサレム、預言者たちを殺し、遣されたる人々を石にて撃つ者よ、牝鷄のその雛を翼の下に集むるごとく、我なんぢの子どもを集めんとせしこと幾度ぞや、されど汝らは好まざりき。
“Jerusalem [City of peace], Jerusalem [City of peace], who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
38 視よ、汝らの家は廢てられて汝らに遺らん。
Behold, your house is left to you desolate.
39 われ汝らに告ぐ「讃むべきかな、主の名によりて來る者」と、汝 等のいふ時の至るまでは、今より我を見ざるべし』
For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of MarYah [Master Yahweh]!’”
