哀歌 3
1 我はかれの震怒の笞によりて艱難に遭たる人なり
I AM the man that has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
2 かれは我をひきて黑暗をあゆませ光明にゆかしめたまはず
He has led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.
3 まことに屢々その手をむけて終日われを攻なやまし
Surely against me is he turned; he turns his hand against me all the day.
4 わが肉と肌膚をおとろへしめ わが骨を摧き
My flesh and my skin has he made old; he has broken my bones.
5 われにむかひて患苦と艱難を築きこれをもて我を圍み
He has built against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.
6 われをして長久に死し者のごとく暗き處に住しめ
He has set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.
7 我をかこみて出ること能はざらしめわが鏈索を重くしたまへり
He has hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he has made my chain heavy.
8 我さけびて助をもとめしとき彼わが祈禱をふせぎ
Also when I cry and shout, he shuts out my prayer.
9 斫たる石をもてわが道を塞ぎわが途をまげたまへり
He has enclosed my ways with hewn stone, he has made my paths crooked.
10 その我に對することは伏て伺がふ熊のごとく潜みかくるる獅子のごとし
He was to me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.
11 われに路を離れしめ 我をひきさきて獨くるしましめ
He has turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he has made me desolate.
12 弓を張りてわれを矢先の的となし
He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
13 矢筒の矢をもてわが腰を射ぬきたまへり
He has caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.
14 われはわがすべての民のあざけりとなり 終日うたひそしらる
I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.
15 かれ我をして苦き物に飽しめ茵蔯を飮しめ
He has filled me with bitterness, he has made me drunken with wormwood.
16 小石をもてわが齒を摧き灰をもて我を蒙ひたまへり
He has also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he has covered me with ashes.
17 なんぢわが靈魂をして平和を遠くはなれしめたまへば我は福祉をわすれたり
And you have removed my soul far off from peace: I forgot prosperity.
18 是において我みづから言り わが氣力うせゆきぬ ヱホバより何を望むべきところ無しと
And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:
19 ねがはくは我が艱難と苦楚茵蔯と膽汁とを心に記たまへ
Remembering my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
20 わがたましひは今なほ是らの事を想ひてわが衷に鬱ぐ
My soul has them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
21 われこの事を心におもひ起せり この故に望をいだくなり
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
22 われらの尚ほろびざるはヱホバの仁愛によりその憐憫の盡ざるに因る
It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 これは朝ごとに新なり なんぢの誠實はおほいなるかな
They are new every morning: great is your faithfulness.
24 わが靈魂は言ふ ヱホバはわが分なり このゆゑに我彼を待ち望まん
The LORD is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25 ヱホバはおのれを待ち望む者とおのれを尋ねもとむる人に恩惠をほどこしたまふ
The LORD is good to them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.
26 ヱホバの救拯をのぞみて靜にこれを待は善し
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
27 人わかき時に軛を負は善し
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke of his youth.
28 ヱホバこれを負せたまふなれば獨坐して默すべし
He sits alone and keeps silence, because he has borne it on him.
29 口を塵につけよ あるひは望あらん
He puts his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.
30 おのれを撃つ者に頬をむけ 充足れるまでに恥辱をうけよ
He gives his cheek to him that smites him: he is filled full with reproach.
31 そは主は永久に棄ることを爲たまはざるべければなり
For the LORD will not cast off for ever:
32 かれは患難を與へ給ふといへどもその慈悲おほいなればまた憐憫を加へたまふなり
But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
33 心より世の人をなやましかつ苦しめ給ふにはあらざるなり
For he does not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
34 世のもろもろの俘囚人を脚の下にふみにじり
To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.
35 至高者の面の前にて人の理を抂げ
To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,
36 人の詞訟を屈むることは主のよろこび給はざるところなり
To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approves not.
37 主の命じたまふにあらずば誰か事を述んにその事即ち成んや
Who is he that says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord commands it not?
38 禍も福もともに至高者の口より出るにあらずや
Out of the mouth of the most High proceeds not evil and good?
39 活る人なんぞ怨言べけんや 人おのれの罪の罰せらるるをつぶやくべけんや
Why does a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
40 我等みづからの行をしらべかつ省みてヱホバに歸るべし
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
41 我ら天にいます神にむかひて手とともに心をも擧べし
Let us lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.
42 われらは罪ををかし我らは叛きたり なんぢこれを赦したまはざりき
We have transgressed and have rebelled: you have not pardoned.
43 なんぢ震怒をもてみづから蔽ひ 我らを追攻め殺してあはれまず
You have covered with anger, and persecuted us: you have slain, you have not pitied.
44 雲をもてみづから蔽ひ 祈禱をして通ぜざらしめ
You have covered yourself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.
45 もろもろの民の中にわれらを塵埃となしたまへり
You have made us as the offscouring and refuse in the middle of the people.
46 敵は皆われらにむかひて口を張れり
All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.
47 恐懼と陷阱また暴行と滅亡我らに來れり
Fear and a snare is come on us, desolation and destruction.
48 わが民の女の滅亡によりてわが眼には涙の河ながる
My eye runs down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 わが目は斷ず涙をそそぎて止ず
My eye trickles down, and ceases not, without any intermission.
50 天よりヱホバの臨み見て顧みたまふ時にまで至らん
Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.
51 わが邑の一切の女等の故によりてわが眼はわが心をいたましむ
My eye affects my heart because of all the daughters of my city.
52 故なくして我に敵する者ども鳥を追ごとくにいたく我をおひ
My enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.
53 わが生命を坑の中にほろぼし わが上に石を投かけ
They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone on me.
54 また水わが頭の上に溢る 我みづから言り滅びうせぬと
Waters flowed over my head; then I said, I am cut off.
55 ヱホバよ われ深き坑の底より汝の名を呼り
I called on your name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.
56 なんぢ我が聲を聽たまへり わが哀歎と祈求に耳をおほひたまふなかれ
You have heard my voice: hide not your ear at my breathing, at my cry.
57 わが汝を龥たりし時なんぢは近よりたまひて恐るるなかれと宣へり
You drew near in the day that I called on you: you said, Fear not.
58 主よなんぢはわが靈魂の訴を助け伸べ わが生命を贖ひ給へり
O LORD, you have pleaded the causes of my soul; you have redeemed my life.
59 ヱホバよ なんぢは我がかうむりたる不義を見たまへり 願はくは我に正しき審判を與へたまへ
O LORD, you have seen my wrong: judge you my cause.
60 なんぢは彼らが我を怨み われを害せんとはかるを凡て見たまへり
You have seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.
61 ヱホバよなんぢは彼らが我を詈り 我を害せんとはかるを凡て聞たまへり
You have heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me;
62 かの立て我に逆らふ者等の言語およびその終日われを攻んとて運らす謀計もまた汝これを聞たまへり
The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
63 ねがはくは彼らの起居をかんがみたまへ 我はかれらに歌ひそしらる
Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their music.
64 ヱホバよ なんぢは彼らが手に爲すところに循がひて報をなし
Render to them a recompense, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
65 かれらをして心くらからしめたまはん なんぢの呪詛かれらに歸せよ
Give them sorrow of heart, your curse to them.
66 なんぢは震怒をもてかれらを追ひ ヱホバの天の下よりかれらをほろぼし絶たまはん
Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
