エレミヤ書 27
1 ユダの王ヨシヤの子ヱホヤキムが位に即し初のころヱホバより此言ヱレミヤに臨みていふ
In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,
2 すなはちヱホバかく我に云たまへり汝索と軛をつくりて汝の項に置き
Thus saith YHWH to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,
3 之をヱルサレムにきたりてゼデキヤ王にいたるところの使臣等の手によりてエドムの王モアブの王アンモン人の王ツロの王シドンの王に送るべし
And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
4 汝彼らに命じて其主にいはしめよ萬軍のヱホバ、イスラエルの神かくいひたまふ汝ら其主にかく告べし
And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith YHWH of hosts, the Elohim of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
5 われ我大なる能力と伸たる臂をもて地と地の上にをる人と獸とをつくり我心のままに地を人にあたへたり
I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
6 いま我この諸の地を我僕なるバビロンの王ネブカデネザルの手にあたへ又野の獸を彼にあたへてかれにつかへしむ
And now have I given all these lands unto the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
7 かれの地の時期いたるまで萬國民は彼と其子とその孫につかへん其時いたらばおほくの國と大なる王は彼を己に事へしむべし
And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
8 バビロンの王ネブカデネザルに事へずバビロンの王の軛をその項に負ざる國と民は我彼の手をもて悉くこれを滅すまで劍と饑饉と疫病をもてこれを罰せんとヱホバいひたまふ
And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith YHWH, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
9 故に汝らの預言者なんぢらの占筮師汝らの夢みる者汝らの法術士汝らの魔法士汝らに告て汝らはバビロンの王に事ふることあらじといふとも聽なかれ
Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
10 彼らは謊を汝らに預言して汝らをその國より遠く離れしめ且我をして汝らを逐しめ汝らを滅さしむるなり
For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.
11 然どバビロンの王の軛をその項に負ふて彼に事ふる國々の人は我これをその故土に存し其處に耕し住しむべしとヱホバいひたまふ
But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith YHWH; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
12 我この諸の言のごとくユダの王ゼデキヤに告ていひけるは汝らバビロンの王の軛を汝らの項に負ふて彼と其民につかへよ然ば生べし
I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
13 汝と汝の民なんぞヱホバがバビロンの王につかへざる國につきていひたまひし如く劍と饑饉と疫病に死ぬべけんや
Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as YHWH hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14 故に汝らはバビロンの王に事ふることあらじと汝等に告る預言者の言を聽なかれ彼らは謊を汝らに預言するなり
Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
15 ヱホバいひたまひけるは我彼らを遣さざるに彼らは我名をもて謊を預言す是をもて我汝らを逐はなち汝らと汝らに預言する預言者等を滅すにいたらん
For I have not sent them, saith YHWH, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
16 我また祭司とこのすべての民に語りていひけるはヱホバかくいひたまふ視よヱホバの室の器皿いま速にバビロンより持歸さるべしと汝らに預言する預言者の言をきく勿れそは彼ら謊を汝らに預言すればなり
Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith YHWH; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of YHWH 's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
17 汝ら彼らに聽なかれバビロンの王に事へよ然ば生べしこの邑を何ぞ荒蕪となすべけんや
Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
18 もし彼ら預言者にしてヱホバの言かれらの衷にあらばヱホバの室とユダの王の家とヱルサレムとに餘れるところの器皿のバビロンに移されざることを萬軍のヱホバに求むべきなり
But if they be prophets, and if the word of YHWH be with them, let them now make intercession to YHWH of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of YHWH, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
19 萬軍のヱホバ柱と海と臺およびこの邑に餘れる器皿につきてかくいひたまふ
For thus saith YHWH of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
20 是はバビロンの王ネブカデネザルがユダの王ヱホヤキムの子ヱコニヤおよびユダとヱルサレムのすべての牧伯等をヱルサレムよりバビロンにとらへ移せしときに掠ざりし器皿なり
Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
21 すなはち萬軍のヱホバ、イスラエルの神ヱホバの室とユダの王の室とヱルサレムとに餘れる器皿につきてかくいひたまふ
Yea, thus saith YHWH of hosts, the Elohim of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of YHWH, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
22 これらはバビロンに携へゆかれ我これを顧る日まで彼處にあらん其後我これを此處にたづさへ歸らしめんとヱホバいひたまふ
They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith YHWH; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
