エレミヤ書 26
1 ユダの王ヨシヤの子ヱホヤキムが位に即し初のころヱホバより此言いでていふ
In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word from the LORD, saying,
2 ヱホバかくいふ汝ヱホバの室の庭に立我汝に命じていはしむる諸の言をユダの邑々より來りてヱホバの室に拜をする人々に告よ一言をも減す勿れ
Thus saith the LORD: Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; keep not back a word.
3 彼等聞ておのおの其惡き途を離るることあらん然ば我かれらの行の惡がために災を彼らに降さんとせることを悔べし
It may be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way; that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
4 汝彼等にヱホバかくいふといへ汝等もし我に聽ずわが汝らの前に置し律法を行はず
And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD: If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
5 我汝らに遣し切に遣せし我僕なる預言者の言を聽ずば(汝らは之をきかざりき)
to hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I send unto you, even rising up early and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;
6 我この室をシロの如くになし又この邑を地の萬國に詛はるる者となすべし
then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
7 祭司と預言者及び民みなヱレミヤがヱホバの室に立てこの言をのぶるをきけり
And the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
8 ヱレミヤ、ヱホバに命ぜられし諸の言を民に告畢りしとき祭司と預言者および諸の民彼を執へいひけるは汝は必ず死べし
And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
9 汝何故にヱホバの名をもて預言し此室はシロの如くになりこの邑は荒蕪となりて住む者なきにいたらんと云しやと民みなヱホバの室にあつまりてヱレミヤを攻む
Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant? And all the people were gathered unto Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
10 ユダの牧伯等この事をききて王の家をいでヱホバの室にのぼりてヱホバの家の新しき門の入口に坐せり
And when the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the LORD; and they sat in the entry of the new gate of the LORD’S [house].
11 祭司と預言者等牧伯等とすべての民に訴ていふ此人は死にあたる者なり是は汝らが耳に聽しごとくこの邑にむかひて惡き預言をなしたるなり
Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.
12 是に於てヱレミヤ牧伯等とすべての民にいひけるはヱホバ我を遣し汝らが聽る諸の言をもて此宮とこの邑にむかひて預言せしめたまふ
Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.
13 故に汝らいま汝らの途と行爲をあらためて汝らの神ヱホバの聲にしたがへ然ばヱホバ汝らに災を降さんとせしことを悔たまふべし
Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
14 みよ我は汝らの手にあり汝らの目に善とみゆるところ義とみゆることを我に行へ
But as for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as is good and right in your eyes.
15 然ど汝ら善くこれを知れ汝らもし我を殺さば必ず無辜ものの血なんぢらの身とこの邑と其中に住る者に歸せんヱホバ我を遣してこの諸の言を汝らの耳につげしめたまひしなればなり
Only know ye for certain that, if ye put me to death, ye shall bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
16 牧伯等とすべての民すなはち祭司と預言者にいひけるは此人は死にあたる者にあらず是は我らの神ヱホバの名によりて我儕に語りしなりと
Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets: This man is not worthy of death; for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.
17 時にこの地の長老數人立て民のすべての集れる者につげていひけるは
Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying,
18 ユダの王ヒゼキヤの代にモレシテ人ミカ、ユダの民に預言して云けらく萬軍のヱホバかくいひ給ふシオンは田地のごとく耕されヱルサレムは邱墟となり此室の山は樹深き崇邱とならんと
Micaiah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.
19 ユダの王ヒゼキヤとすべてのユダ人は彼を殺さんとせしことありしやヒゼキヤ、ヱホバを畏れヱホバに求ければヱホバ彼らに降さんと告給ひし災を悔給ひしにあらずや我儕かく爲すは自己の靈魂をそこなふ大なる惡をなすなり
Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and entreat the favour of the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus should we commit great evil against our own souls,
20 又前にヱホバの名をもて預言せし人あり即ちキリヤテヤリムのシマヤの子ウリヤなり彼ヱレミヤの凡ていへるごとく此邑とこの地にむかひて預言せり
And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Uriah the son of Shemaiah of Kiriath-jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah:
21 ヱホヤキム王と其すべての勇士とすべての牧伯等その言を聽り是において王彼を殺さんと欲ひしがウリヤこれをきき懼てエジプトに逃ゆきしかば
and when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death; but when Uriah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt:
22 ヱホヤキム王人をエジプトに遣せり即ちアクボルの子エルナタンに數人をそへてエジプトにつかはしければ
and Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, [namely], Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him, into Egypt:
23 彼らウリヤをエジプトより引出しヱホヤキム王の許に携きたりしに王劍をもて之を殺し其屍骸を賤者の墓に棄させたりと
and they fetched forth Uriah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.
24 時にシヤパンの子アヒカム、ヱレミヤをたすけこれを民の手にわたして殺さざらしむ
But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
