イザヤ書 28
1 酔るものなるエフライム人よなんぢらの誇の冠はわざはひなるかな 酒におぼるるものよ肥たる谷の首にある凋んとする花のうるはしき飾はわざはひなるかな
Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley of those who are overcome with wine!
2 みよ主はひとりの力ある强剛者をもち給へり それは雹をまじへたる暴風のごとく壞りそこなふ狂風のごとく大水のあぶれ漲るごとく烈しくかれを地になげうつべし
Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one. As a tempest of hail, a destroying storm, as a tempest of mighty waters overflowing, he will cast down to the earth with the hand.
3 酔るものなるエフライム人のほこりの冠は足にて踐にじられん
The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim shall be trodden under foot.
4 肥たる谷のかしらにある凋んとする花のうるはしきかざりは 夏こぬに熟したる初結の無花果のごとし 見るものこれをみて取る手おそしと呑いるるなり
And the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be as the first-ripe fig before the summer, which, when he who looks upon it sees, while it is yet in his hand, he eats it up.
5 その日萬軍のヱホバその民ののこれる者のために榮のかんむりとなり美しき冠となり給はん
In that day Jehovah of hosts will become a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, to the residue of his people,
6 さばきの席にざするものには審判の靈をあたへ軍を門よりおひかへす者には力をあたへ給ふべし
and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.
7 然どかれらも酒によりてよろめき濃酒によりてよろぼひたり 祭司と預言者とは濃酒によりてよろめき 酒にのまれ濃酒によりてよろぼひ 而して默示をみるときにもよろめき審判をおこなふときにも躓けり
And even these reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink. The priest and the prophet reel with strong drink. They are swallowed up of wine. They stagger with strong drink; they err in vision; they stumble in judgment.
8 すべて膳には吐たるものと穢とみちて潔きところなし
For all tables are full of vomit, filthiness, no place clean.
9 かれは誰にをしへて知識をあたへんとするか 誰にしめして音信を暁らせんとするか 乳をたち懷をはなれたる者にするならんか
Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts?
10 そは誡命にいましめをくはへ誡命にいましめをくはへ 度にのりをくはへ度にのりをくはへ 此にもすこしく彼にもすこしく敎ふ
For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.
11 このゆゑに神あだし唇と異なる舌とをもてこの民にかたりたまはん
No, but by men of strange lips and with another tongue he will speak to this people,
12 曩にかれらに言たまひけるは此は安息なり疲困者にやすみをあたへよ 此は安慰なりと されど彼らは聞ことをせざりき
to whom he said, This is the rest. Give ye rest to him who is weary. And this is the refreshing. Yet they would not hear.
13 斯るがゆゑにヱホバの言かれらにくだりて 誡命にいましめをくはへ誡命にいましめをくはへ 度にのりをくはへ度にのりをくはへ 此にもすこしく彼にも少しくをしへん 之によりて彼等すすみてうしろに仆れそこなはれ罟にかかりて捕へらるべし
Therefore the word of Jehovah shall be to them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little, that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 なんぢら此ヱルサレムにある民ををさむるところの輕慢者よヱホバの言をきけ
Therefore hear the word of Jehovah, ye scoffers, who rule this people that is in Jerusalem.
Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and we are at agreement with Sheol. When the overflowing scourge shall pass through it shall not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hid ourselves under falsehood. (Sheol h7585)
16 このゆゑに神ヱホバかくいひ給ふ 視よわれシオンに一つの石をすゑてその基となせり これは試をへたる石たふとき隅石かたくすゑたる石なり これに依賴むものはあわつることなし
Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a sure foundation. He who believes in him shall, no, not be shamed.
17 われ公平を準繩とし正義を錘とす 斯て雹はいつはりにてつくれる避所をのぞきさり水はその匿れたるところに漲りあふれん
And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plummet. And the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding-place.
And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. (Sheol h7585)
19 その過るごとになんぢらを捕へん 朝々にすぎ晝も夜もすぐ この音信をきき わきまふるのみにても慴きをるなり
As often as it passes though, it shall take you. For morning by morning it shall pass through, by day and by night. And it shall be nothing but terror to understand the report.
20 その狀は床みじかくして身をのぶることあたはず 衾せまくして身をおほふこと能はざるが如し
For the bed is shorter than what a man can stretch himself on it, and the covering narrower than what he can wrap himself in it.
21 そはヱホバ往昔ペラヂムの山にて起たまひしがごとくにたち ギベオンの谷にて忿恚をはなちたまひしが如くにいきどほり 而してその所爲をおこなひ給はん 奇しき所爲なり その工を成たまはん 異なる工なり
For Jehovah will rise up as in mount Perazim. He will be angry as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work, and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 この故になんぢら侮るなかれ 恐くはなんぢらの縲絏きびしくならん 我すでに全地のうへにさだまれる敗亡あるよしを主萬軍のヱホバより聞たればなり
Now therefore be ye not scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong. For I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, upon the whole earth.
23 なんぢら耳をかたぶけてわが聲をきけ懇ろにわが言をきくべし
Give ye ear, and hear my voice, hearken, and hear my speech.
24 農夫たねをまかんに何で日々たがへし日々その地をすき その土塊をくだくことのみを爲んや
Does he who plows to sow plow continually? Does he continually open and harrow his ground?
25 もし地の面をたひらかにせばいかで罌粟をまき 馬芹の種をおろし 小麥をうねにうゑ 大麥をさだめたる處にうゑ 粗麥を畔にうゑざらんや
When he has leveled the face of it, does he not cast abroad the chick-peas, and scatter the cummin, and put in the wheat in rows, and the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in the border of it?
26 斯のごときはかれの神これに智慧をあたへて敎へたまへるなり
For his God instructs him aright, and teaches him.
27 けしは連耞にてうたず 馬芹はそのうへに車輪をきしらせず罌栗をうつには杖をもちひ 馬芹をうつには棒をもちふ
For the chick-peas are not threshed with a sharp instrument, nor is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin, but the chick-peas are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
28 麥をくだくか否くるまにきしらせ馬にふませて落すことはすれども斷ずしかするにあらず これを碎くことをせざるべし
Bread grain is ground, for he will not be always threshing it. And though the wheel of his cart and his horses scatter it, he does not grind it.
29 此もまた萬軍のヱホバよりいづ その謀略はくすしくその智慧はすぐれたり
This also comes forth from Jehovah of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
