イザヤ書 11
1 ヱツサイの株より一つの芽いで その根より一つの枝はえて實をむすばん
And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse. And a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
2 その上にヱホバの靈とどまらん これ智慧聰明の靈 謀略才能の靈 知識の靈 ヱホバをおそるるの靈なり
And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.
3 かれはヱホバを畏るるをもて歡樂とし また目みるところによりて審判をなさず 耳きくところによりて斷定をなさず
And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah. And he shall not judge according to the sight of his eyes, nor decide according to the hearing of his ears,
4 正義をもて貧しき者をさばき 公平をもて國のうちの卑しき者のために斷定をなし その口の杖をもて國をうちその口唇の氣息をもて惡人をころすべし
but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked.
5 正義はその腰の帶となり 忠信はその身のおびとならん
And righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins.
6 おほかみは小羊とともにやどり 豹は小山羊とともにふし 犢 をじし 肥たる家畜ともに居てちひさき童子にみちびかれ
And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them.
7 牝牛と熊とはくひものを同にし 熊の子と牛の子とともにふし 獅はうしのごとく藁をくらひ
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together. And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 乳兒は毒蛇のほらにたはふれ 乳ばなれの兒は手をまむしの穴にいれん
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den.
9 斯てわが聖山のいづこにても害ふことなく傷ることなからん そは水の海をおほへるごとくヱホバをしるの知識地にみつべければなり
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters cover the sea.
10 その日ヱツサイの根たちてもろもろの民の旂となり もろもろの邦人はこれに服ひきたり榮光はそのとどまる所にあらん
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, and he who arises to rule over the Gentiles. In him shall the Gentiles hope, and his resting-place shall be glorious.
11 その日主はまたふたたび手をのべてその民ののこれる僅かのものをアツスリヤ、エジプト、パテロス、エテオピア、エラム、シナル、ハマテおよび海のしまじまより贖ひたまふべし
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, who shall remain, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 ヱホバは國々の爲に旂をたててイスラエルの逐やられたる者をあつめ地の四極よりユダの散失たるものを集へたまはん
And he will set up an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13 またエフライムの猜はうせ ユダを惱ますものは斷れ エフライムはユダをそねまず ユダはエフライムを惱ますことなかるべし
Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart, and those who vex Judah shall be cut off. Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
14 かれらは西なるペリシテ人の境にとびゆき相共にひがしの子輩をかすめ その手をエドムおよびモアブにのべアンモンの子孫をおのれに服はしめん
And they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines on the west. Together they shall despoil the sons of the east. They shall put forth their hand upon Edom and Moab, and the sons of Ammon shall obey them.
15 ヱホバ、エジプトの海汊をからし河のうへに手をふりて熱風をふかせ その河をうちて七の小流となし 履をはきて渉らしめたまはん
And Jehovah will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea. And with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will smite it into seven streams, and cause men to march over dry shod.
16 斯てその民ののこれる僅かのものの爲にアツスリヤより來るべき一つの大路あり 昔しイスラエルがエジプトの地よりいでし時のごとくなるべし
And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, who shall remain, from Assyria, like as there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
