ヘブル人への手紙 3
1 されば共に天の召を蒙れる聖なる兄弟よ、我らが言ひあらはす信仰の使徒たり大 祭司たるイエスを思ひ見よ。
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Yeshua;
2 彼の己を立て給ひし者に忠實なるは、モーセが神の全家に忠實なりしが如し。
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Mushe in his house.
3 家を造る者の家より勝りて尊ばるる如く、彼もモーセに勝りて大なる榮光を受くるに相應しき者とせられ給へり。
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Mushe, just as he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 家は凡て之を造る者あり、萬の物を造り給ひし者は神なり。
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 モーセは後に語り傳へられんと爲ることの證をせんために、僕として神の全家に忠實なりしが、
Mushe indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 キリストは子として神の家を忠實に掌どり給へり。我等もし確信と希望の誇とを終まで堅く保たば、神の家なり。
but Meshikha is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope.
7 この故に聖 靈の言ひ給ふごとく『今日なんぢら神の聲を聞かば、
Therefore, even as the Rukha d'Qudsha says, "Today if you will hear his voice,
8 その怒を惹きし時のごとく、荒野の嘗試の日のごとく、こころを頑固にするなかれ。
do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9 彼處にて汝らの先祖たちは我をこころみて驗し、かつ四十 年の間わが業を見たり。
where your fathers tested me and challenged me, and saw my works for forty years.
10 この故に我この代の人を憤ほりて云へり、「彼らは常に心まよい、わが途を知らざりき」と。
Therefore I was displeased with this generation, and said, 'They always err in their heart, but they did not know my ways;'
11 われ怒をもて「彼らは、我が休に入るべからず」と誓へり』
as I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.'"
12 兄弟よ、心せよ、恐らくは汝 等のうち活ける神を離れんとする不 信仰の惡しき心を懷く者あらん。
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 汝 等のうち誰も罪の誘惑によりて頑固にならぬやう、今日と稱ふる間に日々 互に相 勸めよ。
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;" lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 もし始の確信を終まで堅く保たば、我らはキリストに與る者となるなり。
For we have become partakers of Meshikha, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
15 それ『今日なんじら神の聲を聞かば、その怒を惹きし時のごとく、こころを頑固にするなかれ』と云へ。
while it is said, "Today if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion."
16 然れば聞きてなほ怒を惹きし者は誰なるか、モーセによりてエジプトを出でし凡ての人にあらずや。
For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, did not all those who came out of Egypt by Mushe?
17 また四十 年のあひだ、神は誰に對して憤ほり給ひしか、罪を犯してその死屍を荒野に横たへし人々にあらずや。
With whom was he displeased forty years? Was not it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 又かれらは我が安息に入るべからずとは、誰に對して誓ひ給ひしか、不 從順なる者にあらずや。
To whom did he swear that they would not enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 之によりて見れば、彼らの入ること能はざりしは、不 信仰によりてなり。
We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
