ヘブル人への手紙 10
1 それ律法は來らんとする善き事の影にして眞の形にあらねば、年毎にたえず献ぐる同じ犧牲にて、神にきたる者を何時までも全うすることを得ざるなり。
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers to [them] perfect.
2 もし之を得ば、禮拜をなす者、一たび潔められて復 心に罪を憶えねば、献ぐることを止めしならん。
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshipers once cleansed, would have had no more conscience of sins.
3 然れど犧牲によりて、年ごとに罪を憶ゆるなり。
But in those [sacrifices there is] a remembrance again [made] of sins every year.
4 これ牡牛と山羊との血は罪を除くこと能はざるに因る。
For [it is] not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 この故にキリスト世に來るとき言ひ給ふ『なんぢ犧牲と供物とを欲せず、唯わが爲に體を備へたまへり。
Wherefore, when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldst not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 なんぢ燔祭と罪祭とを悦び給はず、
In burnt-offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 その時われ言ふ「神よ、我なんぢの御意を行はんとて來る」我につきて書の卷に録されたるが如し』と。
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written concerning me, ) to do thy will, O God.
8 先には『汝いけにへと供物と燔祭と罪祭と（即ち律法に循ひて献ぐる物）を欲せず、また悦ばず』と言ひ、
Above, when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt-offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldst not, neither hadst pleasure [in them]; which are offered by the law;
9 後に『視よ、我なんぢの御意を行はんとて來る』と言ひ給へり。その後なる者を立てん爲に、その先なる者を除き給ふなり。
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 この御意に適ひてイエス・キリストの體の一たび献げられしに由りて我らは潔められたり。
By which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all].
11 すべての祭司は日毎に立ちて事へ、いつまでも罪を除くこと能はぬ同じ犧牲をしばしば献ぐ。
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 然れどキリストは罪のために一つの犧牲を献げて限りなく神の右に坐し、
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, for ever sat down on the right hand of God;
13 斯くて己が仇の己が足臺とせられん時を待ちたまふ。
From henceforth waiting till his enemies are made his footstool.
14 そは潔めらるる者を一つの供物にて限りなく全うし給ふなり。
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 聖 靈も亦われらに之を證して
[Of this] the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 『「この日の後、われ彼らと立つる契約は是なり」と主いひ給ふ。また「わが律法をその心に置き、その念に銘さん」』と言ひ給ひて、
This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 『この後また彼らの罪と不法とを思ひ出でざるべし』と言ひたまふ。
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 かかる赦ある上は、もはや罪のために献物をなす要なし。
Now where remission of these [is], [there is] no more offering for sin.
19 然れば兄弟よ、我らイエスの血により、
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 その肉體たる幔を經て我らに開き給へる新しき活ける路より憚らずして至 聖所に入ることを得、
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the vail, that is to say, his flesh;
21 かつ神の家を治むる大なる祭司を得たれば、
And [having] a high priest over the house of God;
22 心は濯がれて良心の咎をさり、身は清き水にて洗はれ、眞の心と全き信仰とをもて神に近づくべし。
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 また約束し給ひし者は忠實なれば、我ら言ひあらはす所の望を動かさずして堅く守り、
Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; for he [is] faithful that promised:
24 互に相 顧み、愛と善き業とを勵まし、
And let us consider one another to excite to love and to good works:
25 集會をやむる或 人の習慣の如くせず、互に勸め合ひ、かの日のいよいよ近づくを見て、ますます斯くの如くすべし。
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 我等もし眞理を知る知識をうけたる後、ことさらに罪を犯して止めずば、罪のために犧牲、もはや無し。
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 ただ畏れつつ審判を待つことと、逆ふ者を焚きつくす烈しき火とのみ遺るなり。
But a certain fearful apprehension of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 モーセの律法を蔑する者は慈悲を受くることなく、二三人の證人によりて死に至る。
He that despised Moses' law, died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 まして神の子を蹈みつけ、己が潔められし契約の血を潔からずとなし、恩惠の御靈を侮る者の受くべき罰の重きこと如何許とおもふか。
Of how much more severe punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, by which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite to the Spirit of grace?
30 『仇を復すは我に在り、われ之を報いん』と言ひ、また『主その民を審かん』と言ひ給ひし者を我らは知るなり。
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] to me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge his people.
31 活ける神の御手に陷るは畏るべきかな。
[It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 なんぢら御光を受けしのち苦難の大なる戰鬪に耐へし前の日を思ひ出でよ。
But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 或は誹謗と患難とに遭ひて觀物にせられ、或は斯かることに遭ふ人の友となれり。
Partly, while ye were made a gazing-stock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, while ye became companions of them that were so used.
34 また囚人となれる者を思ひやり、永く存する尤も勝れる所有の己にあるを知りて、我が所有を奪はるるをも喜びて忍びたり。
For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the seizing of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35 されば大なる報を受くべき汝らの確信を投げすつな。
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.
36 なんぢら神の御意を行ひて約束のものを受けん爲に必要なるは忍耐なり。
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.
37 『いま暫くせば、來るべき者きたらん、遲からじ。
For yet a little while, and he that is coming will come, and will not tarry.
38 我に屬ける義人は、信仰によりて活くべし。もし退かば、わが心これを喜ばじ』
Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] shall draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 然れど我らは退きて滅亡に至る者にあらず、靈魂を得るに至る信仰を保つ者なり。
But we are not of them who draw back to perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
