エゼキエル書 8

1 爰に六年の六月五日に我わが家に坐しをりユダの長老等わがまへに坐りゐし時主ヱホバの手われの上に降れり

And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Sovereign YHWH fell there upon me.

2 我すなはち視しに火のごとくに見ゆる形象あり腰より下は火のごとく見ゆ腰より上は光輝て見え燒たる金屬の色のごとし

Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.

3 彼手のごとき者を伸て吾が頭髮を執りしかば靈われを地と天の間に曳あげ神の異象の中に我をヱルサレムに携へゆき北にむかへる内の門の口にいたらしむ其處に嫉妬をおこすところの嫉妬の像たてり

And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of Elohim to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

4 彼處にイスラエルの神の榮光あらはる吾が平原にて見たる異象のごとし

And, behold, the glory of the Elohim of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

5 彼われに言たまふ人の子よ目をあげて北の方をのぞめと我すなはち目をあげて北の方を望むに視よ壇の門の北にあたりてその入口に此嫉妬の像あり

Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.

6 彼また我にいひたまふ人の子よ汝かれらが爲ところ即ちイスラエルの家が此にてなすところの大なる憎むべき事を見るや我これがために吾が聖所をはなれて遠くさるべし汝身を轉らせ復大なる憎むべき事等を見ん

He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

7 斯て彼われを領て庭の門にいたりたまふ我見しに其壁に一の穴あり

And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.

8 彼われに言たまふ人の子よ壁を穿てよと我すなはち壁を鑿つに一箇の戸あるを視る

Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.

9 茲に彼われにいひ給ひけるは入て彼等が此になすところの惡き憎むべき事等を見よと

And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.

10 便ち入りて見るに諸の爬蟲と憎むべき獸畜の形およびイスラエルの家の諸の偶像その周圍の壁に畵きてあり

So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.

11 イスラエルの家の長老七十人その前に立てりシヤパンの子ヤザニヤもかれらの中に立ちてあり各手に香爐を執るその香の煙雲のごとくにのぼれり

And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

12 彼われに言たまひけるは人の子よ汝イスラエルの家の長老等が暗におこなふ事即ちかれらが各人その偶像の間におこなふ事を見るや彼等いふヱホバは我儕を見ずヱホバこの地を棄てたりと

Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, YHWH seeth us not; YHWH hath forsaken the earth.

13 また我に言たまはく汝身を轉らせ復かれらが爲すところの大なる憎むべき事等を見ん

He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

14 斯て彼我を携てヱホバの家の北の門の入口にいたるに其處に婦女等坐してタンムズのために哭をる

Then he brought me to the door of the gate of YHWH 's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

15 彼われに言たまふ人の子よ汝これを見るや又身を轉らせよ汝これよりも大なる憎むべき事等を見ん

Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

16 彼また我を携てヱホバの家の内庭にいたるにヱホバの宮の入口にて廊と壇の間に二十五人ばかりの人その後をヱホバの宮にむけ面を東にむけ東にむかひて日の前に身を鞠めをる

And he brought me into the inner court of YHWH 's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of YHWH, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of YHWH, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

17 彼われに言たまふ人の子よ汝これを見るやユダの家はその此におこなふところの憎むべき事等をもて瑣細き事となすにや亦暴逆を國に充して大に我を怒らす彼等は枝をその鼻につくるなり

Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

18 然ば我また怒をもて事をなさん吾目はかれらを惜み見ず我かれらを憫まじ彼等大聲にわが耳に呼はるとも我かれらに聽じ

Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
