出エジプト記 8

1 ヱホバ、モーセに言たまひけるは汝パロに詣りて彼に言へヱホバかく言たまふ吾民を去しめて我に事ふることを得せしめよ

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus says Jehovah, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

2 汝もし去しむることを拒まば我蛙をもて汝の四方の境を惱さん

And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs.

3 河に蛙むらがり上りきたりて汝の家にいり汝の寝室にいり汝の牀にのぼり汝の臣下の家にいり汝の民の所にいたり汝の竃におよび汝の搓鉢にいらん

And the river shall swarm with frogs, which shall go up and come into thy house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading-troughs.

4 蛙なんぢの身にのぼり汝の民と汝の臣下の上にのぼるべし

And the frogs shall come up both upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

5 ヱホバ、モーセに言たまはく汝アロンに言へ汝杖をとりて手を流水の上に伸べ河々の上と池塘の上に伸て蛙をエジプトの地に上らしめよ

And Jehovah said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch forth thy hand with thy rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

6 アロン手をエジプトの水のうへに伸たれば蛙のぼりきたりてエジプトの地を蔽ふ

And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

7 法術士等もその秘術をもて斯おこなひ蛙をエジプトの地に上らしめたり

And the magicians did in like manner with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

8 パロ、モーセとアロンを召て言けるはヱホバに願ひてこの蛙を我とわが民の所より取さらしめよ我この民を去しめてヱホバに犠牲をささぐることを得せしめん

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat Jehovah, that he take away the frogs from me, and from my people, and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to Jehovah.

9 モーセ、パロに言けるは我なんぢと汝の臣下と汝の民のために願ひて何時此蛙を汝と汝の家より絶さりて河にのみ止らしむべきや我に示せと

And Moses said to Pharaoh, Have this honor over me: When shall I entreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, that the frogs be destroyed from thee and thy houses, and remain in the river only?

10 彼明日といひければモーセ言ふ汝の言のごとくに爲し汝をして我らの神ヱホバのごとき者なきことを知しめん

And he said, Tomorrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word, that thou may know that there is none like Jehovah our God.

11 蛙汝と汝の家を離れ汝の臣下と汝の民を離れて河にのみ止るべしと

And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people, they shall remain in the river only.

12 モーセとアロンすなはちパロを離れて出でモーセそのパロに至らしめたまひし蛙のためにヱホバに呼はりしに

And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh. And Moses cried to Jehovah concerning the frogs which he had brought upon Pharaoh.

13 ヱホバ、モーセの言のごとくなしたまひて蛙家より村より田野より死亡たり

And Jehovah did according to the word of Moses. And the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.

14 茲にこれを攢むるに山をなし地臭くなりぬ

And they gathered them together in heaps, and the land stank.

15 然るにパロは嘘氣時あるを見てその心を頑固にして彼等に聽ことをせざりきヱホバの言たまひし如し

But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart, and did not hearken to them, as Jehovah had spoken.

16 ヱホバ、モーセに言たまひけるは汝アロンに言へ汝の杖を伸べ地の塵を打てエジプト全國に蚤とならしめよと

And Jehovah said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

17 彼等斯なせり即ちアロン杖をとりて手を伸べ地の塵を撃けるに蚤となりて人と畜につけりエジプト全國において地の塵みな蚤となりぬ

And they did so. And Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth. And there were lice upon man, and upon beast; all the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

18 法術士等その秘術をもて斯おこなひて蚤を出さんとしたりしが能はざりき蚤は人と畜に著く

And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. And there were lice upon man, and upon beast.

19 是において法術士等パロに言ふ是は神の指なりと然るにパロは心剛愎にして彼等に聽ざりきヱホバの言たまひし如し

Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, This is the finger of God. And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not hearken to them, as Jehovah had spoken.

20 ヱホバ、モーセに言たまはく汝朝早く起てパロの前に立て視よ彼は水に臨む汝彼に言へヱホバかく言たまふわが民を去しめて我に事ふることを得せしめよ

And Jehovah said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh. Lo, he comes forth to the water. And say to him, Thus says Jehovah, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

21 汝もしわが民を去しめずば視よ我汝と汝の臣下と汝の民と汝の家とに蚋をおくらんエジプト人の家々には蚋充べし彼らの居るところの地も然らん

Else, if thou will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon they servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses. And the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they are.

22 その日に我わが民の居るゴセンの地を區別おきて其處に蚋あらしめじ是地の中にありて我のヱホバなることを汝が知んためなり

And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, to the end thou may know that I am Jehovah in the midst of the earth.

23 我わが民と汝の民の間に區別をたてん明日この徴あるべし

And I will put a division between my people and thy people. This sign shall be by tomorrow.

24 ヱホバかく爲たまひたれば蚋おびただしく出來りてパロの家にいりその臣下の家にいりエジプト全國にたり蚋のために地害はる

And Jehovah did so, and there came grievous swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses. And in all the land of Egypt the land was corrupted because of the swarms of flies.

25 是においてパロ、モーセとアロンを召ていひけるは汝等往て國の中にて汝らの神に犠牲を献げよ

And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

26 モーセ言ふ然するは宜からず我等はエジプト人の崇拝む者を犠牲としてわれらの神ヱホバに献ぐべければなり我等もしエジプト人の崇拝む者をその目の前にて犠牲に献げなば彼等石にて我等を撃ざらんや

And Moses said, It is not right to do so, for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Jehovah our God. Lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

27 我等は三日路ほど曠野にいりて我らの神ヱホバに犠牲を献げその命じたまひしごとくせんとす

We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovah our God, as he shall command us.

28 パロ言けるは我汝らを去しめて汝らの神ヱホバに曠野にて犠牲を献ぐることを得せしめん但餘に遠くは行べからず我ために祈れよ

And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to Jehovah your God in the wilderness, only ye shall not go very far away. Entreat for me.

29 モーセ言けるは視よ我汝をはなれて出づ我ヱホバに祈ん明日蚋パロとその臣下とその民を離れん第パロ再び偽をおこなひ民を去しめてヱホバに犠牲をささぐるを得せしめざるが如きことを爲ざれ

And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will entreat Jehovah that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow. Only let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to Jehovah.

30 かくてモーセ、パロをはなれて出でヱホバに祈りたれば

And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and entreated Jehovah.

31 ヱホバ、モーセの言のごとく爲したまへり即ちその蚋をパロとその臣下とその民よりはなれしめたまふ一ものこらざりき

And Jehovah did according to the word of Moses, and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

32 然るにパロ此時にもまたその心を頑固にして民を去しめざりき

And Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also, and he did not let the people go.
