出エジプト記 23
1 汝虚妄の風説を言ふらすべからず惡き人と手をあはせて人を誣る證人となるべからず
Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2 汝衆の人にしたがひて惡をなすべからず訴訟において答をなすに方りて衆の人にしたがひて道を曲べからず
Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to turn aside after many to pervert judgment:
3 汝また貧き人の訴訟を曲て庇くべからず
Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4 汝もし汝の敵の牛あるひは驢馬の迷ひ去に遭ばかならずこれを牽てその人に歸すべし
If thou shalt meet thy enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5 汝もし汝を惡む者の驢馬のその負の下に仆れ臥すを見ば愼みてこれを遺さるべからず必ずこれを助けてその負を釋べし
If thou shalt see the donkey of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
6 汝貧き者の訴訟ある時にその判決を曲べからず
Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7 虚假の事に遠かれ無辜者と義者とはこれを殺すなかれ我は惡き者を義とすることあらざるなり
Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8 汝賄賂を受べからず賄賂は人の目を暗まし義者の言を曲しむるなり
And thou shalt take no bribe: for the bribe blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
9 他國の人を虐ぐべからず汝等はエジプトの國にをる時は他國の人にてありたれば他國の人の心を知なり
Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
10 汝六年の間汝の地に種播きその實を穫いるべし
And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in its fruits:
11 但し第七年にはこれを息ませて耕さずにおくべし而して汝の民の貧き者に食ふことを得せしめよ其餘れる者は野の獣これを食はん汝の葡萄園も橄欖園も斯のごとくなすべし
But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12 汝六日の間汝の業をなし七日に息むべし斯汝の牛および驢馬を息ませ汝の婢の子および他國の人をして息をつかしめよ
Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thy ox and thy donkey may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13 わが汝に言し事に凡て心を用ひよ他の神々の名を稱ふべからずまた之を汝の口より聞えしめざれ
And in all things that I have said to you be circumspect: and make no mention of the names of other gods, neither let it be heard from thy mouth.
14 汝年に三度わがために節筵を守るべし
Three times thou shalt keep a feast to me in the year.
15 汝無酵パンの節禮をまもるべし即ちわが汝に命ぜしごとくアビブの月の定の時において七日の間酵いれぬパンを食ふべし其はその月に汝エジプトより出たればなり徒手にてわが前に出る者あるべからず
Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty: )
16 また穡時の節筵を守るべし是すなはち汝が勞苦て田野に播る者の初の實を祝ふなり又収蔵の節筵を守るべし是すなはち汝の勞苦によりて成る者を年の終に田野より収蔵る者なり
And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
17 汝の男たる者は皆年に三次主ヱホバの前に出べし
Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.
18 汝わが犠牲の血を酵いれしパンとともに献ぐべからず又わが節筵の脂を翌朝まで殘しおくべからず
Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
19 汝の地に初に結べる實の初を汝の神ヱホバの室に持きたるべし汝山羊羔をその母の乳にて煮べからず
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in his mother’s milk.
20 視よ我天の使をかはして汝に先たせ途にて汝を守らせ汝をわが備へし處に導かしめん
Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21 汝等その前に愼みをりその言にしたがへ之を怒らするなかれ彼なんぢらの咎を赦さざるべしわが名かれの中にあればなり
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22 汝もし彼が言にしたがひ凡てわが言ところを爲ば我なんぢの敵の敵となり汝の仇の仇となるべし
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy to thy enemies, and an adversary to thy adversaries.
23 わが使汝にさきだちゆきて汝をアモリ人ヘテ人ペリジ人カナン人ヒビ人およびヱブス人に導きたらん我かれらを絶べし
For my Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in to the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24 汝かれらの神を拝むべからずこれに奉事べからず彼らの作にならふなかれ汝其等を悉く毀ちその偶像を打摧くべし
Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25 汝等の神ヱホバに事へよ然ばヱホバ汝らのパンと水を祝し汝らの中より疾病を除きたまはん
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26 汝の國の中には流產する者なく妊ざる者なかるべし我汝の日の數を盈さん
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: I will fulfil the number of thy days.
27 我わが畏懼をなんぢの前に遣し汝が至るところの民をことごとく敗り汝の諸の敵をして汝に後を見せしめん
I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thy enemies turn their backs to thee.
28 吾黄蜂を汝の先につかはさん是ヒビ人カナン人およびヘテ人を汝の前より逐はらふべし
And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29 我かれらを一年の中には汝の前より逐はらはじ恐くは土地荒れ野の獣増て汝を害せん
I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land should become desolate, and the beast of the field should multiply against thee.
30 我漸々にかれらを汝の前より逐はらはん汝らは遂に増てその地を獲にいたらん
By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou shalt be increased, and inherit the land.
31 我なんぢの境をさだめて紅海よりペリシテ人の海にいたらせ曠野より河にいたらしめん我この地に住る者を汝の手に付さん汝かれらを汝の前より逐はらふべし
And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even to the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32 汝かれらおよび彼らの神と何の契約をもなすべからず
Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33 彼らは汝の國に住べきにあらず恐くは彼ら汝をして我に罪を犯さしめん汝もし彼等の神に事なばその事かならず汝の機檻となるべきなり
They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee to sin against me: for if thou shalt serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to thee.
