申命記 32
1 天よ耳を傾むけよ我語らん地よ吾口の言を聽け
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 わが敎は雨の降るがごとし吾言は露のおくがごとく靀の若艸の上にふるごとく細雨の靑艸の上にくだるが如し
My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distill as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
3 我はヱホバの御名を頌揚ん我らの神に汝ら榮光を歸せよ
Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness to our God.
4 ヱホバは磐にましましてその御行爲は完くその道はみな正しまた眞實ある神にましまして惡きところ無し只正くして直くいます
[He is] the Rock, his work [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity: just and right [is] he.
5 彼らはヱホバにむかひて惡き事をおこなふ者にてその子にはあらず只これが玷となるのみ其人と爲は邪僻にして曲れり
They have corrupted themselves, their spot [is] not [the spot] of his children: [they are] a perverse and crooked generation.
6 愚にして智慧なき民よ汝らがヱホバに報ゆること是のごとくなるかヱホバは汝の父にして汝を贖ひまた汝を造り汝を建たまはずや
Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? [is] not he thy father [that] hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
7 昔の日を憶え過にし世代の年を念へよ汝の父に問べし彼汝に示さん汝の中の年老に問べし彼ら汝に語らん
Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will show thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.
8 至高者人の子を四方に散して萬の民にその產業を分ちイスラエルの子孫の數に照して諸の民の境界を定めたまへり
When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
9 ヱホバの分はその民にしてヤユブはその產業たり
For the LORD'S portion [is] his people; Jacob [is] the lot of his inheritance.
10 ヱホバこれを荒野の地に見これに獣の吼る曠野に遇ひ環りかこみて之をいたはり眼の珠のごとくにこれを護りたまへり
He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
11 鵰のその巣雛を喚起しその子の上に翺翔ごとくヱホバその羽を展て彼らを載せその翼をもてこれを負たまへり
As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings;
12 ヱホバは只独にてかれを導きたまへり別神はこれとともならざりき
[So] the LORD alone did lead him, and [there was] no strange God with him.
13 ヱホバかれに地の高處を乗とほらせ田園の產物を食はせ石の中より蜜を吸しめ磐の中より油を吸しめ
He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
14 牛の乳 羊の乳 羔羊の脂 バシヤンより出る牡羊 牡山羊および小麥の最も佳き者をこれに食はせたまひき汝はまた葡萄の汁の紅き酒を飮り
Butter of cows, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.
15 然るにヱシユルンは肥て踢ことを爲す汝は肥太りて大きくなり己を造りし神を棄て己が救拯の磐を軽んず
But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou hast waxed fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered [with fatness]; then he forsook God [who] made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
16 彼らは別神をもて之が嫉妬をおこし憎むべき者をもて之が震怒を惹く
They provoked him to jealousy with strange [gods], with abominations they provoked him to anger.
17 彼らが犠牲をささぐる者は鬼にして神にあらず彼らが識ざりし鬼神近頃新に出たる者汝らの遠つ親の畏まざりし者なり
They sacrificed to devils, not to God; to gods which they knew not, to new [gods that] came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
18 汝を生し磐をば汝これを棄て汝を造りし神をば汝これを忘る
Of the Rock [that] begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
19 ヱホバこれを見その男子女子を怒りてこれを棄たまふ
And when the LORD saw [it], he abhorred [them], because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
20 すなはち曰たまはく我わが面をかれらに隱さん我かれらの終を觀ん彼らはみな背き悖る類の者眞實あらざる子等なり
And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end [will be]: for they [are] a very froward generation, children in whom [is] no faith.
21 彼らは神ならぬ者をもて我に嫉妬を起させ虚き者をもて我を怒らせたれば我も民ならぬ者をもて彼らに嫉妬を起させ愚なる民をもて彼らを怒らせん
They have moved me to jealousy with [that which is] not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with [those who are] not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
For a fire is kindled in my anger, and shall burn to the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. (Sheol h7585)
23 我禍災をかれらの上に積かさね吾矢をかれらにむかひて射つくさん
I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend my arrows upon them.
24 彼らは饑て痩おとろへ熱の病患と惡き疫とによりて滅びん我またかれらをして獣の歯にかからしめ地に匍ふ者の毒にあたらしめん
[They shall be] burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 外には劒内には恐惶ありて少き男をも少き女をも幼兒をも白髮の人をも滅ぼさん
The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling [also] with the man of gray hairs.
26 我は曰ふ我彼等を吹掃ひ彼らの事をして世の中に記憶らるること無らしめんと
I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men;
27 然れども我は敵人の怒を恐る即ち敵人どれを見あやまりて言ん我らの手能くこれを爲り是はすべてヱホバの爲るにあらずと
Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, [and] lest they should say, Our hand [is] high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
28 彼らはまつたく智慧なき民なりその中には知識ある者なし
For they [are] a nation void of counsel, neither [is there any] understanding in them.
29 嗚呼彼らもし智慧あらば之を了りてその身の終を思慮らんものを
O that they were wise, [that] they understood this, [that] they would consider their latter end!
30 彼らの磐これを賣ずヱホバごれを付さずば爭か一人にて千人を逐ひ二人にて萬人を敗ることを得ん
How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
31 彼らの磐は我らの磐にしかず我らの敵たる者等も然認めたり
For their rock [is] not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves [being] judges:
32 彼らの葡萄の樹はソドムの葡萄の樹またゴモラの野より出たる者その葡萄は毒葡萄その球は苦し
For their vine [is] of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes [are] grapes of gall, their clusters [are] bitter:
33 その葡萄酒は蛇の毒のごとく蝮の惡き毒のごとし
Their wine [is] the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
34 是は我の許に蓄へあり我の庫に封じこめ有にあらずや
[Is] not this laid up in store with me, [and] sealed up among my treasures?
35 彼らの足の躚かん時に我仇をかへし應報をなさんその災禍の日は近く其がために備へられたる事は迅速にいたる
To me [belongeth] vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in [due] time: for the day of their calamity [is] at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
36 ヱホバつひにその民を鞫きまたその僕に憐憫をくはへたまはん其は彼らの力のすでに去うせて繋がれたる者も繋がれざる者もあらずなれるを見たまへばなり
For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent for his servants: when he seeth that [their] power is gone, and [there is] none shut up, or left.
37 ヱホバ言たまはん彼らの神々は何處にをるや彼らが賴める磐は何處ぞや
And he shall say, Where [are] their gods, [their] rock in whom they trusted,
38 即ちその犠牲の膏油を食ひその灌祭の酒を飮たる者は何處にをるや其等をして起て汝らを助けしめ汝らを護しめよ
Which ate the fat of their sacrifices, [and] drank the wine of their drink-offerings? let them rise up and help you, [and] be your protection.
39 汝ら今觀よ我こそは彼なり我の外には神なし殺すこと活すこと撃こと愈すことは凡て我是を爲す我手より救ひ出すことを得る者あらず
See now that I, [even] I [am] he, and [there is] no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither [is there any] that can deliver out of my hand.
40 我天にむかひて手をあげて言ふ我は永遠に活く
For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
41 我わが閃爍く刃を磨ぎ審判をわが手に握る時はかならず仇をわが敵にかへし我を惡む者に返報をなさん
If I shall whet my glittering sword, and my hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
42 我わが箭をして血に酔しめ吾劍をして肉を食しめん即ち殺るる者と擄らるる者の血を之に飮せ敵の髮おほき首の肉をこれに食はせん
I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; [and that] with the blood of the slain and of the captives from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
43 國々の民よ汝らヱホバの民のために歓悦をなせ其はヱホバその僕の血のために返報をなしその敵に仇をかへしその地とその民の汚穢をのぞきたまへばなり
Rejoice, O ye nations, [with] his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful to his land, [and] to his people.
44 モーセ、ヌンの子ヨシユアとともに到りてこの歌の言をことごとく民に誦きかせたり
And Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Hoshea the son of Nun.
45 モーセこの言語をことごとくイスラエルの一切の人に告をはりて
And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel;
46 これに言けるは我が今日なんぢらに對ひて證するこの一切の言語を汝ら心に蔵め汝らの子等にこの律法の一切の言語を守りおこなふことを命ずべし
And he said to them, Set your hearts to all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
47 抑この言は汝らには虚しき言にあらず是は汝らの生命なりこの言によりて汝らはそのヨルダンを濟りゆきて獲ところの地にて汝らの生命を永うすることを得るなり
For it [is] not a vain thing for you: because it [is] your life; and through this thing ye shall prolong [your] days in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
48 この日にヱホバ、モーセに告て言たまはく
And the LORD spoke to Moses that same day, saying,
49 汝ヱリコに對するモアブの地のアバリム山に登りてネボ山にいたり我がイスラエルの子孫にあたへて產業となさしむるカナンの地を觀わたせよ
Ascend this mountain Abarim, [to] mount Nebo, which [is] in the land of Moab, that [is] over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan which I give to the children of Israel for a Possession:
50 汝はその登れる山に死て汝の民に列ならん是汝の兄弟アロンがホル山に死てその民に列りしごとくなるべし
And die in the mount whither thou goest, and be gathered to thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered to his people:
51 是は汝らチンの曠野なるカデシのメリバの水の邊においてイスラエルの子孫の中間にて我に悖りイスラエルの子孫の中に我の聖きことを顯さざりしが故なり
Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
52 然ども汝は我がイスラエルの子孫に與ふる地を汝の前に觀わたすことを得ん但しその地には汝いることを得じ
Yet thou shalt see the land before [thee], but thou shalt not go thither to the land which I give the children of Israel.
