< 申命記 27 >

1 モーセ、イスラエルの長老等とともにありて民に命じて曰ふ我が今日なんぢらに命ずるこの誡命を汝ら全く守るべし
Moses [Drawn out] and the elders of Israel [God prevails] enjoined the people, saying, “Keep all the mitzvot ·instructions· and statutes which I enjoin you today.
2 汝らヨルダンを濟り汝の神ヱホバが汝に與へたまふ地にいる時は大なる石數箇を立て石灰をその上に塗り
It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan [Descender] to the land which Adonai your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and coat them with plaster.
3 旣に濟りて後この律法の諸の言語をその上に書すべし然すれば汝の神ヱホバの汝にたまふ地なる乳と蜜の流るる國に汝いるを得ること汝の先祖等の神ヱホバの汝に言たまひしごとくならん
You shall write on them all the words of this Torah ·Teaching·, when you have passed over; that you may go in to the land which Adonai your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Adonai, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4 即ち汝らヨルダンを濟るにおよばば我が今日なんぢらに命ずるその石をエバル山に立て石灰をその上に塗べし
It shall be, when you have crossed over the Jordan [Descender], that you shall set up these stones, which I enjoin you today, on Mount Ebal, and you shall coat them with plaster.
5 また其處に汝の神ヱホバのために石の壇一座を築くべし但し之を築くには鐵の器を用ゐるべからず
There you shall build an altar to Adonai your God, an altar of stones. You shall not use any iron tool on them.
6 汝新石をもて汝の神ヱホバのその壇を築きその上にて汝の神ヱホバに燔祭を献ぐべし
You shall build Adonai your God’s altar of uncut stones. You shall offer burnt offerings on it to Adonai your God.
7 汝また彼處にて酬恩祭を獻げその物を食ひて汝の神ヱホバの前に樂むべし
You shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there. You shall rejoice before Adonai your God.
8 汝この律法の諸の言語をその石の上に明白に書すべし
You shall write on the stones all the words of this Torah ·Teaching· very plainly.”
9 モーセまた祭司たるレビ人とともにイスラエルの全家に告て曰ふイスラエルよ謹みて聽け汝は今日汝の神ヱホバの民となれり
Moses [Drawn out] and the priests the Levites [Descendants of United with] spoke to all Israel [God prevails], saying, “Be silent, and sh'ma ·hear obey·, Israel [God prevails]! Today you have become the people of Adonai your God.
10 然ば汝の神ヱホバの聲に聽從ひ我が今日汝に命ずる之が誡命と法度をおこなふべし
You shall therefore sh'ma ·hear obey· Adonai your God’s voice, and do his instructions and his statutes, which I enjoin you today.”
11 その日にモーセまた民に命じて言ふ
Moses [Drawn out] enjoined the people the same day, saying,
12 汝らがヨルダンを渡りし後是らの者ゲリジム山にたちて民を祝すべし即ちシメオン、レビ、ユダ、イツサカル、ヨセフおよびベニヤミン
“These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have crossed over the Jordan [Descender]: Simeon [Hearing], Levi [United with], Judah [Praised], Issachar [Hire, Reward], Joseph [May he add], and Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south].
13 また是らの者はエバル山にたちて呪詛ことをすべし即ちルベン、ガド、アセル、ゼブルン、ダンおよびナフタリ
These shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben [See, a son!], Gad [Good fortune], Asher [Happy], Zebulun [Living together], Dan [He judged], and Naphtali [My wrestling].
14 レビ人大聲にてイスラエルの人々に告て言べし
With a loud voice, the Levites [Descendants of United with] shall say to all the men of Israel [God prevails],
15 偶像は工人の手の作にしてヱホバの憎みたまふ者なれば凡てこれを刻みまたは鋳造りて密に安置く人は詛はるべしと民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to Adonai, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ All the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
16 その父母を軽んずる者は詛はるべし民みな對てアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
17 その鄰の地界を侵す者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
18 盲者をして路に迷はしむる者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who leads the blind astray, intoxicated, unintentional sin ·error· on the road.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
19 客旅孤子および寡婦の審判を枉る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who withholds mishpat ·justice· from the foreigner, orphan, and widow.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
20 その父の妻と寝る者はその父を辱しむるなれば詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he dishonors his father’s bed.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
21 凡て獣畜と交る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
22 その父の女子またはその母の女子たる己の姉妹と寝る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンとふべし
‘Cursed is he who lies with his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
23 その妻の母と寝る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
24 暗の中にその鄰を撃つ者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who secretly kills his neighbor.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
25 報酬をうけて無辜者を殺してその血を流す者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
26 この律法の言を守りて行はざる者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
‘Cursed is he who does not uphold the words of this Torah ·Teaching· by doing them.’ ‘All the people shall say, “Amen ·So be it·.’”
