申命記 14

1 汝らは汝等の神ヱホバの子等なり汝ら死る者のために己が身に傷くべからずまた己が目の間にあたる頂の髮を剃べからず

All of you are the children of the LORD your God: all of you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

2 其は汝は汝の神ヱホバの聖民なればなりヱホバは地の面の諸の民の中より汝を擇びて己の寶の民となし給へり

For you are an holy people unto the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be an exclusive people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

3 汝穢はしき物は何をも食ふ勿れ

You shall not eat any abominable thing.

4 汝らが食ふべき獣畜は是なり即ち牛 羊 山羊

These are the beasts which all of you shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,

5 牡鹿 羚羊 小鹿 麣 麞 麈 麖など

The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.

6 凡て獣畜の中蹄の分れ割て二つの蹄を成る反芻獣は汝ら之を食ふべし

And every beast that parts the hoof, and cleaves the cleft into two claws, and chews the cud among the beasts, that all of you shall eat.

7 但し反芻者と蹄の分れたる者の中汝らの食ふべからざる者は是なり即ち駱駝 兎および山鼠是らは反芻ども蹄わかれざれば汝らには汚れたる者なり

Nevertheless these all of you shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.

8 また豚是は蹄わかるれども反芻ことをせざれば汝らには汚たる者なり汝ら是等の物の肉を食ふべからずまたその死體に捫るべからず

And the swine, because it divides the hoof, yet chews not the cud, it is unclean unto you: all of you shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.

9 水にをる諸の物の中是のごとき者を汝ら食ふべし即ち凡て翅と鱗のある者は皆汝ら之を食ふべし

These all of you shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall all of you eat:

10 凡て翅と鱗のあらざる者は汝らこれを食ふべからず是は汝らには汚たる者なり

And whatsoever has not fins and scales all of you may not eat; it is unclean unto you.

11 また凡て潔き鳥は皆汝らこれを食ふべし

Of all clean birds all of you shall eat.

12 但し是等は食ふべからず即ち鵰黄鷹鳶

But these are they of which all of you shall not eat: the eagle, and the vulture, and the buzzard,

13 鸇鷹 黑鷹の類

And the vulture, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,

14 各種の鴉の類

And every raven after his kind,

15 駝鳥 梟 鴎 雀鷹の類

And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,

16 鸛 鷺 白鳥

The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,

17 鸅鸕 大鷹 鵜

And the pelican, and the carrion vulture, and the cormorant,

18 鶴 鸚鵡の類 鷸および蝙蝠

And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

19 また凡て羽翼ありて匍ところの者は汝らには汚たる者なり汝らこれを食ふべからず

And every creeping thing that flies is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.

20 凡て羽翼をもて飛ところの潔き物は汝らこれを食ふべし

But of all clean fowls all of you may eat.

21 凡そ自ら死たる者は汝ら食ふべからず汝の門の内にをる他國の人に之を與へて食しかべし又これを異邦人に賣も可し汝は汝の神ヱホバの聖民なればなり汝山羊羔をその母の乳にて煮べからず

All of you shall not eat of anything that dies of itself: you shall give it unto the stranger that is in your gates, that he may eat it; or you may sell it unto an foreigner: for you are an holy people unto the LORD your God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

22 汝かならず年々に田畝に種蒔て獲ところの產物の什一を取べし

You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed, that the field brings forth year by year.

23 而して汝の神ヱホバの前すなはちヱホバのその名を置んとて擇びたまはん處において汝の穀物と酒と油の什一を食ひまた汝の牛羊の首出を食ひ斯して汝の神ヱホバを常に畏るることを學ぶべし

And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of your corn, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks; that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always.

24 但しその路行に勝がたくして之を携へいたること能はざる時または汝の神ヱホバのその名を置んとて擇びたまへる處汝を離るること餘りに遠き時は汝もし汝の神ヱホバの恩惠に潤ふ身ならば

And if the way be too long for you, so that you are not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from you, which the LORD your God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD your God has blessed you:

25 その物を金に易へその金を包みて手に執り汝の神ヱホバの擇びたまへる處に往き

Then shall you turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and shall go unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose:

26 凡て汝の心の好む物をその金に易べし即ち牛羊葡萄酒濃酒など凡て汝が心に欲する物をもとめ其處にて汝の神ヱホバの前にこれを食ひ汝と汝の家族ともに樂むべし

And you shall bestow that money for whatsoever your soul lusts after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever your soul desires: and you shall eat there before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice, you, and your household,

27 汝の門の内にをるレビ人を棄る勿れ是は汝の中間に分なく產業なき者なればなり

And the Levite that is within your gates; you shall not forsake him; for he has no part nor inheritance with you.

28 三年の末に到る毎にその年の產物の十分の一を盡く持出してこれを汝の門の内に儲蓄ふべし

At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up within your gates:

29 然る時は汝の中間に分なく產業なきレビ人および汝の門の内にをる他國の人と孤子と寡婦など來りてこれを食ひて飽ん斯せば汝の神ヱホバ汝が手をもて爲ところの諸の事において汝に福祉を賜ふべし

And the Levite, (because he has no part nor inheritance with you, ) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
