アモス書 2
1 ヱホバかく言たまふ モアブは三の罪あり 四の罪あれば我かならず之を罰して赦さじ 即ち彼はエドムの王の骨を燒て灰となせり
Thus saith Yhwh; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
2 我モアブに火を遣りケリオテの一切の殿を焚ん モアブは噪擾と吶喊の聲と喇叭の音の中に死ん
But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
3 我その中より審判長を絶除きその諸の牧伯を之とともに殺さん ヱホバはこれを言ふ
And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Yhwh.
4 ヱホバかく言たまふ ユダは三の罪あり 四の罪あれば我かならず之を罰して赦さじ 即ち彼らはヱホバの律法を輕んじその法度を守らずその先祖等が從ひし僞の物に惑はさる
Thus saith Yhwh; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of Yhwh, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
5 我ユダに火を遣りエルサレムの諸の殿を焚ん
But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
6 ヱホバかく言たまふ イスラエルは三の罪あり 四の罪あれば我かならず之を罰して赦さじ 即ち彼らは義者を金のために賣り貧者を鞋一足のために賣る
Thus saith Yhwh; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;
7 彼らは弱き者の頭に地の塵のあらんことを喘ぎて求め柔かき者の道を曲げ又父子共に一人の女子に行て我聖名を汚す
That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:
8 彼らは質に取れる衣服を一切の壇の傍に敷きてその上に偃し罰金をもて得たる酒をその神の家に飮む
And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
9 嚮に我はアモリ人を彼らの前に絶たり アモリ人はその高きこと香柏のごとくその強きこと橡の樹のごとくなりしが我その上の果と下の根とをほろぼしたり
Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
10 我は汝らをエジプトの地より携へのぼり四十年のあひだ荒野において汝らを導き終にアモリ人の地を汝らに獲させたり
Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
11 我は汝らの子等の中より預言者を興し汝らの少者の中よりナザレ人を興したり イスラエルの子孫よ然るにあらずや ヱホバこれを言ふ
And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Yhwh.
12 然るに汝らはナザレ人に酒を飮ませ預言者に命じて預言するなかれと言り
But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
13 視よ我麥束を積滿せる車の物を壓するがごとく汝らを壓せん
Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
14 その時は疾走者も逃るに暇あらず 強き者もその力を施すを得ず 勇士も己の生命を救ふこと能はず
Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:
15 弓を執る者も立ことを得ず 足駛の者も自ら救ふ能はず 馬に騎れる者も己の生命を救ふこと能はず
Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.
16 勇士の中の心剛き者もその日には裸にて逃ん ヱホバこれを言ふ
And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Yhwh.
