使徒の働き 5
1 然るにアナニヤと云ふ人、その妻サツピラと共に資産を賣り、
But a certain man named Khananya, with Sapphira, his wife, sold a possession,
2 その價の幾分を匿しおき、殘る幾分を持ちきたりて使徒たちの足下に置きしが、妻も之を與れり。
and kept back part of the price, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part, and put it at the apostles' feet.
3 ここにペテロ言ふ『アナニヤよ、何 故なんぢの心サタンに滿ち、聖 靈に對し詐りて、地所の價の幾分を匿したるぞ。
But Kipha said, "Khananya, why has Satana filled your heart to lie to the Rukha d'Qudsha, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 有りし時は汝の物なり、賣りて後も汝の權の内にあるに非ずや、何とて斯ることを心に企てし。なんぢ人に對してにあらず、神に對して詐りしなり』
While you kept it, did not it remain your own? After it was sold, was not it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to people, but to God."
5 アナニヤこの言をきき、倒れて息 絶ゆ。これを聞く者みな大なる懼を懷く。
Khananya, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard it.
6 若者ども立ちて彼を包み、舁き出して葬れり。
The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.
7 凡そ三 時間を經て、その妻この有りし事を知らずして入り來りしに、
About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.
8 ペテロ之に向ひて言ふ『なんぢら此 程の價にてかの地所を賣りしか、我に告げよ』女いふ『然り、此 程なり』
Kipha answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much." She said, "Yes, for so much."
9 ペテロ言ふ『なんぢら何ぞ心を合せて主の御靈を試みんとせしか、視よ、なんぢの夫を葬りし者の足は門口にあり、汝をもまた舁き出すべし』
But Kipha asked her, "How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Rukha of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."
10 をんな立刻にペテロの足下に倒れて息 絶ゆ。若者ども入り來りて、その死にたるを見、これを舁き出して夫の傍らに葬れり。
She fell down immediately at his feet, and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.
11 ここに全 教會および此 等のことを聞く者みな大なる懼を懷けり。
Great fear came on the whole church, and on all who heard these things.
12 使徒たちの手によりて多くの徴と不思議と民の中に行はれたり。彼 等はみな心を一つにして、ソロモンの廊にあり。
By the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Shelemun's porch.
13 他の者どもは敢へて近づかず、民は彼らを崇めたり。
None of the rest dared to join them, however the people honored them.
14 信ずるもの男女とも増々おほく主に屬けり。
More believers were added to the Lord, crowds of both men and women.
15 終には人々、病める者を大路に舁ききたり、寢臺または床の上におく。此 等のうち誰にもせよ、ペテロの過ぎん時、その影になりと庇はれんとてなり。
They even carried out the sick into the streets, and put them on cots and mats, so that as Kipha came by at the least his shadow would fall on some of them.
16 又エルサレムの周圍の町々より多くの人々、病める者・穢れし靈に惱されたる者を携へきたりて集ひたりしが、みな醫されたり。
Crowds also came together from the cities around Urishlim, bringing sick people, and those who were tormented by unclean spirits: and they were all healed.
17 ここに大 祭司および之と偕なる者、即ちサドカイ派の人々、みな嫉に滿されて立ち、
But the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy,
18 使徒たちに手をかけて之を留置場に入る。
and laid hands on the apostles, and put them in public custody.
19 然るに主の使、夜、獄の戸をひらき、彼らを連れ出して言ふ、
But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night, and brought them out, and said,
20 『往きて宮に立ち、この生命の言をことごとく民に語れ』
"Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life."
21 かれら之を聞き、夜明がた宮に入りて教ふ。大 祭司および之と偕なる者ども集ひきたりて、議會とイスラエル人の元老とを呼びあつめ、使徒たちを曳き來らせんとて人を牢舍に遣したり。
When they heard this, they entered into the temple about daybreak, and taught. But the high priest came, and those who were with him, and called the council together, and all the elders of the people of Israyel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
22 下役ども往きしに、獄のうちに彼らの居らぬを見て、歸りきたり告げて言ふ、
But the officers who came did not find them in the prison. They returned and reported,
23 『われら牢舍の堅く閉ぢられて、戸の前に牢番の立ちたるを見しに、開きて見れば、内には誰も居らざりき』
"We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside."
24 宮守頭および祭司長らこの言を聞きて、如何になりゆくべきかと惑ひいたるに、
Now when the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.
25 或 人きたり告げて言ふ『視よ、汝らの獄に入れし人は、宮に立ちて民を教へ居るなり』
One came and told them, "Look, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people."
26 ここに宮守頭、下役を伴ひて出でゆき、彼らを曳き來る。されど手暴きことをせざりき、これ民より石にて打たれんことを恐れたるなり。
Then the captain went with the officers, and brought them without violence, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.
27 彼らを連れ來りて議會の中に立てたれば、大 祭司 問ひて言ふ、
When they had brought them, they set them before the council. The high priest questioned them,
28 『我等かの名によりて教ふることを堅く禁ぜしに、視よ、汝らは其の教をエルサレムに滿し、かの人の血を我らに負はせんとす』
saying, "Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Urishlim with your teaching, and intend to bring this man's blood on us."
29 ペテロ及び他の使徒たち答へて言ふ『人に從はんよりは神に從ふべきなり。
But Kipha and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than people.
30 我らの先祖の神はイエスを起し給ひしに、汝らは之を木に懸けて殺したり。
The God of our fathers raised up Yeshua, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree.
31 神は彼を君とし救主として己が右にあげ、悔改と罪の赦とをイスラエルに與へしめ給ふ。
God exalted him with his right hand to be a Leader and a Savior, to give repentance to Israyel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 我らは此の事の證人なり。神のおのれに從ふ者に賜ふ聖 靈もまた然り』
We are witnesses of these things; and so also is the Rukha d'Qudsha, whom God has given to those who obey him."
33 かれら之をききて怒に滿ち、使徒たちを殺さんと思へり。
But they, when they heard this, were furious, and wanted to kill them.
34 然るにパリサイ人にて凡ての民に尊ばるる教法 學者ガマリエルと云ふもの、議會の中に立ち、命じて使徒たちを暫く外に出さしめ、議員らに向ひて言ふ、
But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the men out for a little while.
35 『イスラエルの人よ、汝らが此の人々に爲さんとする事につきて心せよ。
He said to them, "You men of Israyel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.
36 前にチウダ起りて、自ら大なりと稱し、之に附 隨ふ者の數おほよそ四 百 人なりしが、彼は殺され、從へる者はみな散されて跡なきに至れり。
For before these days Todah rose up, making himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed, and came to nothing.
37 そののち戸籍 登録のときガリラヤのユダ起りて、多くの民を誘ひおのれに從はしめしが、彼も亡び從へる者もことごとく散されたり。
After this man, Yehudah of Galila rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.
38 然れば今なんぢらに言ふ、この人々より離れて、その爲すに任せよ。若しその企圖その所作、人より出でたらんにはおのづから壞れん。
Now I tell you, withdraw from these men, and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of human origin, it will be overthrown.
39 もし神より出でたらんには彼らを壞ること能はず、恐らくは汝ら神に敵する者とならん』
But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them, and you would be found even to be fighting against God."
40 彼 等その勸告にしたがひ、遂に使徒たちを呼び出して之を鞭うち、イエスの名によりて語ることを堅く禁じて釋せり。
They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Yeshua, and let them go.
41 使徒たちは御名のために辱しめらるるに相應しき者とせられたるを喜びつつ、議員らの前を出で去れり。
They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name.
42 かくて日毎に宮また家にて教をなし、イエスのキリストなる事を宣傳へて止まざりき。
Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming that Yeshua is the Meshikha.
