サムエル記Ⅱ 5
1 爰にイスラエルの支派咸くヘブロンにきたりダビデにいたりていひけるは視よ我儕は汝の骨肉なり
Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.
2 前にサウルが我儕の王たりし時にも汝はイスラエルを率ゐて出入する者なりきしかしてヱホバ汝に汝わが民イスラエルを牧養はん汝イスラエルの君長とならんといひたまへりと
Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and YHWH said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.
3 斯くイスラエルの長老皆ヘブロンにきたり王に詣りければダビデ王ヘブロンにてヱホバのまへにかれらと契約をたてたり彼らすなはちダビデに膏を灑でイスラエルの王となす
So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before YHWH: and they anointed David king over Israel.
4 ダビデは王となりし時三十歳にして四十年の間位に在き
David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.
5 即ちヘブロンにてユダを治むること七年と六箇月またエルサレムにてイスラエルとユダを全く治むること三十三年なり
In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
6 茲に王其從者とともにエルサレムに往き其地の居民ヱブス人を攻んとすヱブス人ダビデに語りていひけるは汝此に入ること能はざるべし反て盲者跛者汝を追はらはんと是彼らダビデ此に入るあたはずと思へるなり
And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.
7 然るにダビデ、シオンの要害を取り是即ちダビデの城邑なり
Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.
8 ダビデ其日いひけるは誰にても水道にいたりてヱブス人を撃ちまたダビデの心の惡める跛者と盲者を撃つ者は(首となし長となさん)と是によりて人々盲者と跛者は家に入るべからずといひなせり
And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David's soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.
9 ダビデ其要害に住て之をダビデの城邑と名けたりまたダビデ、ミロ(城塞)より内の四方に建築をなせり
So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward.
10 かくてダビデはますます大に成りゆき且萬軍の神ヱホバこれと共にいませり
And David went on, and grew great, and YHWH Elohim of hosts was with him.
11 ツロの王ヒラム使者をダビデに遣はして香柏および木匠と石工をおくれり彼らダビデの爲に家を建つ
And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house.
12 ダビデ、ヱホバのかたく己をたててイスラエルの王となしたまへるを暁りまたヱホバの其民イスラエルのために其國を興したまひしを暁れり
And David perceived that YHWH had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel's sake.
13 ダビデ、ヘブロンより來りし後エルサレムの中よりまた妾と妻を納たれば男子女子またダビデに生る
And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.
14 ヱルサレムにて彼に生れたる者の名はかくのごとしシヤンマ、シヨバブ、ナタン、ソロモン
And these be the names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon,
15 イブハル、エリシユア、ネペグ、ヤピア
Ibhar also, and Elishua, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
16 エリシヤマ、エリアダ、エリバレテ
And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphalet.
17 爰に膏を沃いでダビデをイスラエルの王と爲し事ペリシテ人に聞えければペリシテ人皆ダビデを獲んとて上るダビデ聞て要害に下れり
But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.
18 ペリシテ人臻りてレバイムの谷に布き備たり
The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
19 ダビデ、ヱホバに問ていひけるは我ペリシテ人にむかひて上るべきや汝かれらをわが手に付したまふやヱホバ、ダビデにいひたまひけるは上れ我必らずペリシテ人を汝の手にわたさん
And David inquired of YHWH, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And YHWH said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
20 ダビデ、バアルペラジムに至りかれらを其所に撃ていひけるはヱホバ水の破壞り出るごとく我敵をわが前に破壞りたまへりと是故に其所の名をバアルペラジム(破壞の處)と呼ぶ
And David came to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there, and said, YHWH hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.
21 彼處に彼等其偶像を遺たればダビデと其從者これを取あげたり
And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.
22 ペリシテ人再び上りてレバイムの谷に布き備へたれば
And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
23 ダビデ、ヱホバに問にヱホバいひたまひけるは上るべからず彼等の後にまはりベカの樹の方より彼等を襲へ
And when David inquired of YHWH, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
24 汝ベカの樹の上に進行の音を聞ばすなけち突出づべし其時にはヱホバ汝のまへにいでてペリシテ人の軍を撃たまふべければなりと
And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall YHWH go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.
25 ダビデ、ヱホバのおのれに命じたまひしごとくなしペリシテ人を撃てゲバよりガゼルにいたる
And David did so, as YHWH had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.
