列王記Ⅱ 25
1 茲にゼデキヤの代の九年の十月十日にバビロンの王ネブカデネザルその諸軍勢を率てヱルサレムに攻きたりこれにむかひて陣を張り周圍に雲梯を建てこれを攻たり
And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, [that] Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it; and they built forts against it on all sides.
2 かくこの邑攻かこまれてゼデキヤ王の十一年にまでおよびしが
And the city was besieged to the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
3 その四月九日にいたりて城邑の中饑ること甚だしくなりその地の民食物を得ざりき
And on the ninth [day] of the [fourth] month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
4 是をもて城邑つひに打破られければ兵卒はみな王の園の邊なる二箇の石垣の間の途より夜の中に逃いで皆平地の途にしたがひておちゆけり時にカルデア人は城邑を圍みをる
And the city was broken up, and all the men of war [fled] by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which [is] by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees [were] against the city on all sides: ) and [the king] went the way towards the plain.
5 茲にカルデア人の軍勢王を追ゆきヱリコの平地にてこれに追つきけるにその軍勢みな彼を離れて散しかば
And the army of the Chaldees pursued the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were scattered from him.
6 カルデア人王を執へてこれをリブラにをるバビロンの王の許に曳ゆきてその罪をさだめ
So they took the king, and brought him to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.
7 ゼデキヤの子等をゼデキヤの目の前に殺しゼデキヤの目を抉しこれを鋼索につなぎてバビロンにたづさへゆけり
And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon.
8 バビロンの王ネブカデネザルの代の十九年の五月七日にバビロンの王の臣侍衛の長ネブザラダン、ヱルサレムにきたり
And in the fifth month, on the seventh [day] of the month, which [is] the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, to Jerusalem:
9 ヱホバの室と王の室を燒き火をもてヱルサレムのすべての室と一切の大なる室を燒り
And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great [man's] house he burnt with fire.
10 また侍衛の長とともにありしカルデア人の軍勢ヱルサレムの四周の石垣を毀てり
And all the army of the Chaldees, that [were with] the captain of the guard, broke down the walls of Jerusalem on all sides.
11 侍衛の長ネブザラダンすなはち邑に遺されし殘餘の民およびバビロンの王に降りし降人と群衆の殘餘者を擄へうつせり
Now the rest of the people [that were] left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carry away.
12 但し侍衛の長その地の或貧者をのこして葡萄をつくる者となし農夫となせり
But the captain of the guard left of the poor of the land [to be] vine-dressers and husbandmen.
13 カルデア人またヱホバの家の銅の柱と洗盤の臺と銅の海をくだきてその銅をバビロンに運び
And the pillars of brass that [were] in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that [was] in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.
14 また鍋と火鏟と燈剪と匙および凡て役事に用ふる銅の器を取り
And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered, they took away.
15 侍衛の長また火盤と鉢など金銀にて作れる物を取り
And the fire-pans, and the bowls, [and] such things as [were] of gold, [in] gold, and of silver, [in] silver, the captain of the guard took away.
16 またソロモンがヱホバの室に造しところの二の柱と一の海と臺とを取り此もろもろの銅の重は量るべからず
The two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
17 この柱は高さ十八キユビトにしてその上に銅の頂ありその頂の高は三キユビトその頂の四周に網子と石榴とありて皆銅なり他の柱とその網子もこれに同じ
The hight of the one pillar [was] eighteen cubits, and the capital upon it [was] brass: and the hight of the capital three cubits; and the wreathen work, and pomegranates upon the capital around, all of brass: and like to these had the second pillar with wreathen work.
18 侍衛の長は祭司の長セラヤと第二の祭司ゼパニヤと三人の門守を執へ
And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
19 また兵卒を督どる一人の寺人と王の前にはべる者の中邑にて遇しところの者五人とその地の民を募る軍勢の長なる書記官と城邑の中にて遇しところの六十人の者を邑より擄へされり
And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king's presence, who were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land [that were] found in the city:
20 侍衛の長ネブザラダンこれらを執へてリブラにをるバビロンの王の許にいたりければ
And Nebuzar-adan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah:
21 バビロンの王ハマテの地のリブラにてこれらを撃殺せりかくユダはおのれの地よりとらへ移されたり
And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.
22 かくてバビロンの王ネブカデネザルは自己が遺してユダの地に止らしめし民の上にシヤパンの子なるアヒカムの子ゲダリヤをたててこれをその督者となせり
And [as for] the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.
23 茲に軍勢の長等およびこれに屬する人々みなバビロンの王がゲダリヤを督者となせしことを聞しかばすなはちネタニヤの子イシマエル、カレヤの子ヨナハン、ネトバ人タンホメテの子セラヤおよび或マアカ人の子ヤザニヤならびに彼らに屬する人々ミヅパにきたりてゲダリヤの許にいたれり
And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of Maachathite, they and their men.
24 ゲダリヤすなはち彼等とかれらに屬する人々に誓ひてこれに言けるは汝等カルデア人の僕となることを恐るるなかれこの地に住てバビロンの王につかへなば汝等幸福ならんと
And Gedaliah swore to them, and to their men, and said to them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.
25 然るに七月に王の血統なるエリシヤマの子ネタニヤの子なるイシマエル十人の者とともに來りてゲダリヤを撃ころし又彼とともにミヅパにをりしユダヤ人とカルデア人を殺せり
But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.
26 是において大小の民および軍勢の長等みな起てエジプトにおもむけり是はカルデヤ人をおそれたればなり
And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were afraid of the Chaldees.
27 ユダの王ヱホヤキムがとらへ移れたる後三十七年の十二月二十七日バビロンの王エビルメロダクその代の一年にユダの王ヱホヤキムを獄より出してその首をあげしめ
And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;
28 善言をもて彼をなぐさめその位をバビロンにともに居るところの王等の位よりも高くし
And he spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that [were] with him in Babylon;
29 その獄の衣服を易しめたりヱホヤキムは一生のあひだつねに王の前に食をなせり
And changed his prison garments: and he ate bread continually before him all the days of his life.
30 かれ一生のあひだたえず日々の分を王よりたまはりてその食物となせり
And his allowance [was] a continual allowance given him by the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.
